Lilac is a small crop moon that is plagued by heat and a lack of water. However, there is a part of this moon where rain does fall on a regular basis and the sun in this part nurtures the crops, rather than fries them. Those farmers who are lucky enough to have land here, do quite well for themselves. Lilac is also located on the edge of space that is now known as Reaver territory. The people of Lilac live in fear that in a matter of time, they will be attacked. A good many of the major land-holders have joined together to employ a private security firm to protect them and their property from Reaver attacks.
