| − | It was to Kyo's surprise and ire that Zank seemed to betray the Jia when he took over the Jia, attempted to kidnap Danee, and blow up the ship. His suppressed personality, the one of Demon Eye's Kyo took over, his hair growing rapidly and changing color. Back when he was growing up he would black out when he felt anger often waking up to see the people tormenting him harmed greatly. The Academy seemed to be grooming this. Mina was able to cure him of this other person and he was able to control his emotions. However Zank put him overboard. Kyo went to Beylix, the home world of Zank, and set about slaying some of Brookside's men to drag Zank out. This worked but Esther was on his tail. After a sword battle with Esther, Kyo was subdued.

His suspicions about his parents being murdered were true but to his displeasure it was not the Alliance who did it. In fact if it wasn't for the Alliances grooming program he'd probably be dead. As of now though, the trail has gone rather cold.
