Changes just made: Plasma is the fourth state of matter, after gas. It's superheated by definition. Carbon fiber is really not a substance that I personally would want to expose to the sort of heat generated by plasma. Carbon burns, which is why you REALLY don't want to have on a diamond anyplace near a fire. While optical sights are highly desirable little gizmos, they, like all technology, can fail. So I made mention of the open sights as backup to the optics.
