Options on the race structure
- Track Race
- Course consists of a set number of turns and straights - plus a start and finish roll.
- Win order is determined by the highest cumulative rolls at the end of the race.
- Endurance Race
- Course consists of a set target for the cumulative piloting rolls. There is a start roll and then alternating straights and turns until the target number is reached.
- Win order is determined by the order in which the pilots reach the target number.
Options for racing mechanics
- One roll from the engineer and one for the pilot at each stage of the race.
- One roll from the engineer for speed, one roll for maneuvering. Advantage/Disadvantage applies to all appropriate piloting rolls in the race.
Options for watchers
- Watchers placed in a separate room, to avoid being spammed with race poses.
- After every round of poses in the "racing" room, whomever's running the race can @remit an update to the "watching" room.
- Maybe the watchers and racers should be in the same room before the race starts, as well as after it finishes.
Prize Structure
- Buy in
- Each team puts up X in Credits to race.
- Prize money is paid out to the top 3 racers 50%, 33%, 16%
- Prize
- Prizes are acquired in advance
- Prizes are awarded according to value & place.
