Starke 'Triarius' Armour

Triarius, the heaviest, most experienced cavalryman of the Roman Legions. This armour is manufactured by Starke Heavy Industries, created originally as shock armour for a security contractor doing business out on the rim. The intimidation and public reaction to the contractors inspired the Starke marketing department, and so with relatively minor adjustments, the Triarius armour went into full production to the public. This armour is designed for the front line combat operative, with heavy padded one piece jumpsuit. It has been augmented with rigid hard ballistic plates that lay over each other in a sort of modern plate armour. The black construction is daunting, by design, and for the protection it affords, it provides excellent protection.
