Background
Sarah was born on Sihnon. She was an only child, the daughter of a Registered Companion and an unknown (to her) father. Her childhood was one of wealth and privilege, but relative isolation. Her mother was away often, so she was raised primarily by her nanny. She had the best tutors that money could buy, but was not socialized well as a child. She didn't spend a lot of time with people her own age until she went to college, choosing higher education instead of Companion training (much to her mother's disappointment). She got off to a rocky start, more than a little overwhelmed between the academic load and social hurdles thrown in her path, but she stuck it out and once she found her stride she came to enjoy college life and achieved both academic and social success.
Upon completion of medical school, Sarah left Sihnon for the first time in her life. Accepted to a psychiatric fellowship at St. Lucy's Hospital on Ariel, she spent four years there, at the end of which she completed the program and passed her final exams to become a full-fledged board-certified M.D. and Psychiatrist in 2525. After obtaining her certification, she returned home to Sihnon, where she opened a private practice of her own. In the years that followed, she pursued an interest in criminology and began to earn some recognition as an expert in the field of mental illness and criminal behavior. She has never married, nor had any children.
Current Status
Sarah accepted a position with the Department of Alliance Security in late January, 2534. She lives on Londinium, working out of DAS HQ.
Personality
Sarah is extremely intelligent and perceptive, two things that make her an excellent psychiatrist. She's also genuinely interested in helping people, which doesn't hurt. She is friendly, personable, socializes well and is good at making friends, though her intelligence can be off-putting at times. She is charismatic and open-minded, though often finds it difficult to shut off the analytical part of her brain and finds herself studying her relationships through a clinical lens rather than making emotional connections. Needless to say, she doesn't date much.
