Red Eye's Grand Opening
Inside and Out, this restaurant is ready for some type of party. A live band on a raised platform in one of the corners of the Steakhouse is playing lively music of different genres. A banner over the bar in the center of the main floor reads, Grand Opening! Everything is Half Off. There are plenty of seats and tables for those who wish to come in. In another corner, a mechanical bull is set up, saddle and everything. There is a sign up station for the different contests. Wet T-shirt, Mud Wrestling, and of course Bull Riding. An odd mix of contests but fun none the less. Besides the pool tables in the back corner, on the wall there is a Holo Dart Board. There are also other games available at the bar like Cards, Othello, Scrabble, and Uno. There are already some people here eating and drinking, the room filled with music, noise from the Cortex monitors, and conversation.
Kyoshiro is moving around making sure every one is enjoying their meals, making small talk with customers, and presiding over some of the staff who are having a bit of trouble with then influx of customers. They had been training for a while, but it was still nothing like the real thing. He stops at the bar to lean against it. It was still early, so more people could still yet come. His red eyes glance around curiously to see if he cat catch site of any of his friends. <English>
Danee sits at a table with a glass of tea in front of her. She is dressed more or less for the occassion. She is listening to the music and watching the people. <English>
Kyoshiro catches sight of Danee, who seems to be dressed rather nice for this event. He turns and slides over to the women, leaning against the bar there. "Didn't see you come in." He says to the Captain's wife and Jia Cargomaster. "Enjoying yourself?" He asks, "Of course you are, everything is on the house for you." He chuckles lightly. <English>
The party is well underway when a short, curvy woman tentatively enters the restaurant. She's a bit over-dressed for the occasion, and clearly aware of it, but she takes a deep breath, jerks her chin up and steps boldly into the room. It may take even her intimates a moment to recognize Violet in an elegant strapless gown and heels... her face is even _clean_. She's wearing _makeup_. All in all, she looks completely unlike herself, but she bravely marches (well, wobbles; the heels are a whole new experience) up to the bar, and, tossing her dark curls over one bare shoulder, waits for the bartender to take her order. <English>
Zank comes into the new establishment. His eyes scan over the patrons and the building itself. He gives a small smile as he looks over the building nodding with approvel. He raises an eye at the bull rideing machine with a small chuckle and shake of his head. He takes a small walk around looking the place over. He spots Danee and Kyo and heads in there direction removing his duster from his sholders and placing it on the back of on of the seats Danee sits at. He talk as he does this "Evenin Mei mei" he says to Danee and looks to Kyo "Place looks Shiney Kyo...ya done good here" he says to the man offering a hand to the man. <English>
Danee looks up and smiles at Zank before answering Kyo, "The music is wonderful. The people pretty and the food great. That is all it takes to make me happy." She takes a sip of the tea and then responds, "Hey Big Brother. You look exceptional." <English>
Kyoshiro smiles to Danee, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Glad you like it. Proper investment and all that. Thank you so much again. Those bankers like to hold onto their money far too much and their interest rates are just obscene." He takes a moment to glance over to the door just as Violet steps in... it takes him a moment, his red eyes moving over her body, like a man would. Then he realizes just who it is and he blink, completely ignoring Zank's arrival. He's simply too awe struck, his mouth agape just a bit as he watches her tut over to the bar... "Va...Va... Violet?" He asks in a stutter. <English>
Violet is looking rather nervous, but as she hears her name, she turns to Kyoshiro with a bright smile. "Hey there, Gege." she says to him, a bit self-consciously. She gestures, to indicate the restaurant. Good heavens, are her fingernails _clean_??? "This is... beautiful." she tells him, sincerely. <English>
Zank smiles at Danee "Yea well I dont do it offten so i put the effort in when the time is right...ya look beautiful as always" He says to her with a grin and looks back at Kyo and is slightly confused when Kyo ignores his offered hand. He is even more confused when Kyo of all people 'stutters' His mechanics name. He turns to were the man is looking and for a second dosnt recodnize Violet himself. He smiles and raises his eyebrows with small suprise when he final does and simply grins. He shakes his head looks back at Danee taking a seat at the table with her. "Ya look shiney Violet" he says looking at her from the table before looking back at Danee "Girl cleans up good..." he says with a small chuckle. He looks around breifly and then to Danee "Ordered anything yet?" <English>
Danee waves to Violet and smiles, "You look lovely." then she looks at Zank. "Not yet. Just the tea. I was enjoying the music though. I like music when I can just enjoy it." she looks at Zank and slides a menu over to him. "Everything looks so good. It is hard to make a choice." <English>
A slender figure walks into the steakhouse, his clothing dark as always, silk dress shirt beneath a black leather vest, his deep purple tie tucked between the two, the outfit giving the illusion of weakness in some ways while showing off his expensive taste. Sypher's stride is a little slower than usual, matching the gait of the beautiful creature on his arm. Another unusual sight is the lack of his usual telltale duster, which would make certain details about the man rather, obvious, to those who know him. <English>
The band seems to be playing something poppy and up beat at the moment. Otherwise Kyo is just blinking at Violet. "Yeah... well... ah thanks..." He says, shaking his head a bit to return himself to his normal disconnected demeanor. "But beautiful is something to describe you at the particular point in time I do think." His eyes glance around the room again and he turns back to Danee and Zank for a second. "Has anyone seen my Wife?" He asks. <English>
The door to the upstairs opens, and out steps Oliana, speak of the devil. She closes the door to the apartments and then turns and glides her way smoothly down the steps to the main room. With a warm smile on her face the doctor looks over the crowd to see who is all here. Hopefully her brothers are not here. <English>
Violet blushes a bit and smiles up at Kyoshiro, shyly. "Thank you." she says, awkwardly, clearly not used to such blatant male approval. As Kyoshiro calls for his wife, she obediantly looks around for Oliana and sees the elegantly-dressed doctor. She tugs on Kyoshiro's sleeve and points. <English>
Said beautiful creature on the arm of Sypher is dressed to the nines in expensive silk of highest quality. His shirt is a softer purple, with a deep midnight blue over coat and matching pants. Gavin, much the pretty boy, has artfully mussed his hair just right and added one streak of wine red coloring to his short hair. He's gliding on his feet at pace with Sypher and smiling his charming boyish smile. <English>
Kyoshiro is still look around to catch sight of Oliana, though he looks back to Violet once she tugs at his sleeve. "Herm?" He voices before narrowing his brows a bit and turning his head to look over towards the door to the Apartment on the second level. He can spot her almost instantly and he smiles softly. Giving a bit of a waves to her he speaks up, "Darling, we're at the bar!" <English>
Zank smiles as Danee slides over the menu. He begins to looks it over eyes drifting over the choices. He looks up as Kyo asks him a question about his wife. "I havent seen.." he catch Oli coming down the stairs looking over the resturant he smiles at her "There she is Kyo" he says. His eyes move to the door as Sypher and Gavin enter. If they meet eyes he gives them both a welcoming nod and goes back to Danee and the Menu. "Your right it all does Shiney...I" his words cut off as he comes over a certain part of the menu. He re reads it several times. He tilts his head a bit to the side "Hu..." he says simply "Kyo..?" <English>
Danee smiles at Sypher and Gavin and waves. Then she looks over at Oliana and loves the dress. But it is Zank's hesitation on the menu items that catches her attention. "What is it?" <English>
Oliana chuckles as she reaches the bottom of the steps and moves over to her husband, she gives a bit of a shrug and says, "I never get the chance to dress up anymore, so I took it." She flutters her long eyelashes, and links her arm with that of her husband, "Besides, if anyone I know from my old life shows up, I want to look my best, you know a nice one finger salute without actually doing the gesture." She looks to Zank and Danee, she inclines her head to the two and gives a warm smile to Violet, "Thank you all for your support." When Zank calls to Kyo she cocks her head to one side, "Is there something wrong with the menu sir?" <English>
Sink takes a step into the Red Eye, and looks about the place. He takes is time, an upon hearing the band and seeing the bull, well, he can't help but grin. He takes off his stetson and holds it against his chest, and leans against his cane, as he looks about for a place to sit. <English>
Sypher gives a nod in turn to Zank and a faint smile, a little wave offered to Danee, then finds a table and pulls out a chair for Gavin, leaning to whisper something to him with the faintest of grins when he goes to sit. He'll push in the mans chair, then take his seat across from the man. <English>
Violet orders a double scotch to calm her nerves, and smoothes her skirts out, awkwardly, clearly unused to her finery, and determined not to muss it, particularly after Kyoshiro's shocked reaction. She smiles back, shyly, at Oliana, in greeting, but then, unsure of how fine ladies in fine dresses are supposed to act, settles for looking a bit stuffed on her bar stool. <English>
Gavin smiles charmingly to everyone and gives a small wave to those who give waves and or acknowledgements to their arrivel. Then his chair is being pulled out for him and he laughs softly, "I swear that you spoil me." He settles into the chair and then smiles at Sy, "Lets look at the menu before you say that, though I must admit I'd love to indulge by sharing dessert if we haven't stuffed ourselves to popping." <English>
Sypher just chuckles a little and smiles. "Well, it's hard not to spoil someone so beautiful." he says, then picks up his menu and skims it over, adding, "And don't worry, price really isn't an issue here." then he gives Gavin a glance and a slightly brighter smile as he adds, "I'm sure that can be arranged." in response to the dessert comment, obviously. <English>
Kyo looks over his wife with a smile. He leans in and gives Oliana a longing kiss to the lips. In public, just to make her blush of course. "You look stunning my Love." He says in his core accented monotone. Then looking to Zank, he raises an eyebrow, "Yes. Mr Lines, how can I help you." He reaches into his inner pocket and pulls out a black, blue tipped electronic cigarette that glows when a drag is taken from it. He nods in greeting to Sypher and his friend, "Evening Gentlemen." Sink catches his eyes and he raises his hand in greeting, "Mr. Fist... glad to see you. Come in and sit where you'd like. Everything is half off menu price." <English>
The door opens and stepping inside the steakhouse is Doc and Feria. Doc stops just inside and takes in the crowd and says to Feria, "Ah saposes whee couls shimmies up ta tha bar na ordah a drinks?...youse game?" <English>
As Feria enters with Doc, taking in the crowd, she takes a breath and lets it out slowly. Decent amount of people, but she could handle it, right? Looking over to Doc then as he offers up the idea of going to the bar and getting a drink, she nods her head in a quick-like fashion. "Yeah. Drink sounds really good right now.." <English>
Zank looks at a certain spot on the Kid part of the menu with ammused eyes for a moument before responding to the looks and responses from Oli, Danee and and Kyo with a chuckle and small roll of his eyes. "Ummm no everythings fine." he gives Kyo a sharp look but there is amusment under it all. He looks at Danee with a grin and talks low. "That mans got a sense of humor we dont know about" he grins a moument and continues to look over the menu. As the doors open Zank spots Doc and smiles to his old friend and waves him over the others. <English>
Sink looks over to the waving hand and gives Kyoshiro a smile and returns the wave, "Thank you, Kyoshiro I will. Tell the chef I expect a well aged Porterhouse." He waves to those he knows at the bar, then starts to move towards a table when Doc and Feria enter. Sink smiles and turns to the couple. "Ah, you two. Good to see you folks again." He offers each his hand in greeting, "I look forward to tasting what your farm has to offer. How are things?" <English>
Soft pink blush and unmanly giggles, Gavin shakes his head, "I don't know that I'm beautiful, attractive and maybe cute but I don't know about beautiful." He picks up a menu as well and reads through it with his bottom lip between his teeth. "I'm going to stay away from the liquors for now, at least until we get some food. I wonder how good the cheese fries are... The pulled pork dinner sounds good but so does the beeef tips... Oooo, brownie!.... What is a skrod?...." Appearently he's just babbling a little. <English>
Violet sits at the bar, nursing a drink, and looking lovely, but awkward and unsure of herself. Her swinging feet are clad in high heels, which is probably why she's chosen sitting to mingling, so's she doesn't make a fool of herself by falling all over people. She sees Doc and essays him a shy smile, if he looks her way, but otherwise, just sort wallflowers it for now. <English>
Sypher chuckles a little. "It all looks good actually." he muses, then glances to Gavin and smiles. "Whitefish, typically cod or haddock. Very dry but very good too if you've a taste for seafood." When a waitress walks over to address them, Sypher sets his menu down and smiles. "I'll have an order of the loaded cheese fries, a smoke house burger, the catfish and an Irish Coffee" Looks like Mr. Skinny has a decent apatite. He gives a glance to Gavin, then offers a smile. He's apparently not the type to order for his date. <English>
Gavin scans his menu again and smiles at Sy, "I'm guessing we're not sharing the fries." Then he looks at the waitress with a charming smile, "I'll have a tea, any type is good. I'll have the pulled pork dinner and a grilled shrimp as well as a side house salad with light ranch dressing." He winks at Sy, apperantly this skinny beauty can eat as well. <English>
Kyoshiro gives Zank a confused look before his attention is grabbed by Doc and Feria, whom he has never seen before, enter his Restaurant. He raises his hand in greeting as they find their way to the bar before he responds to Sink. "I'll let Vlad know and if he can't cut it, I'll cook it myself." From the back of the Kitchen, a man with a thick Russian accent is hears yelling through the arch way where the food comes out for the waiter's and waitresses. "Hey I heard that, Boss!" A number of the kitchen staff laugh. The waitress near Sypher and Gavin smiles with a nod after penning the order down on her tablet which is no doubt connected to some computer system for the kitchen. <English>
Zank chuckles and looks over at Violet "Violet come over here an join us get ya self somethin t' eat..hope ya didnt get all dressed up just t' sit round" He smiles at the women and looks to the waiter as he arrives. "Ill take a wisky please on the rocks..nothin fancy" he says to the man and nods. He looks to Danee letting her order. <English>
Doc walks with Feria overto thebar and says to Feria, "Ah'll has a mahtini please." looking around he sees Sink, "Hello thar Sink...good ta sees ya again..." Then Doc spot Violet, "Say whaat?...Holy cows....whill ya loks at this...mah mah Violet ya looks good enough ta make a dawg breaks his chain...goodevenin." Doc looks at Feria, "This beh Violet..crew on the Jia." <English>
Danee waves to Sink, Doc, and the lady he is with. Then she turns to Violet, "Please join us." she chews on he rlip and then asks, "Can I have just fries with lots of catsup? I am not really hungry. But I could do with another glass of tea." <English>
Feria maneuvers to the bar well enough, at least the crowd wasn't elbow to elbow or something, and the noises weren't so bad. Another glance around a moment before her attention is gained by that drink order. "Oh, ahm, I'll take a whiskey, double, on the rocks." Saying that much and then she hears Doc say Sink's name before being able to spy the man himself but she's on the lookout and then offers her old friend a smile. "Sink! It's great to see you." Okay, maybe she -can- handle this with a few familiar faces around now. Looking to Violet then as Doc introduces her and there's a nod in the other woman's directon. "Pleasure to meet you...my name's Feria, or Tink, whichever you prefer to call me." Leaving it all at that for now. <English>
Violet slides off her barstool, landing cautiously on her high heeled shoes. At Doc's compliment, she blushes, lowering her dark lashes, self-consciously. She essays a weak smile to Feria, and nods back. "Nice ta meetcha." she murmurs, and carefully totters over to the table where her crew is sitting. "xhe xhe." she murmurs, although it's not clear to whom she is speaking, as she sits down. She awkwardly adjusts the shawl draped over her arms and gives a faint, slightly panicked smile. "This place is amazing." she gushes. "I can't believe he actually did it." <English>
Sypher laughs a little and smiles, "Actually I figured we would." he says with a glance to Gavin, then shrugs a bit. "You really shouldn't doubt yourself though. You should know I have an eye for beauty and it's not a word I use lightly." <English>
Gavin smiles, blushes and shrugs, "I'll have to take your word for it, though I've more thought myself handsome but I'm not really that large rugged that you tend to see with the word handsome but to each their own, right?" He settles back in his seat and looks around the place to take in the asthetics of the place. "This place is quite cozy if not someplace I've ever really frequented but then I didn't really have spare time before. It's quite nice." <English>
Kyoshiro and Oliana are busy mingling of course. Kyo moves them closer to Doc and his female friend. "How are we this evening?" He asks as the bar tender hands his drink to Doc. "Who's your friend, Holliday-taichou?" He asks giving a quick look around and a content sigh at how busy the buisness is at the moment. He looks to Oliana on his arm. "I hope this is a good sign." <English>
Sink follows Doc and Feria to the bar, but stands back a few steps back while he talks to Feria, "It has been a long time. How is the Tranquility? Still holding together?" He tries to look casual standing there, leaning on his cane, but he's appears not to be one hundred percent comfortable. <English>
Oliana keeps close to her husband's side, her bright blue eyes keeping a watch on the door, she excuses herself a moment from Doc and his lady friend, then moves to the bar to order a drink. <English>
Zank nods as Violet takes a seat and talks of the place. "Yea it is really quite somethin ant it...dont think iv ever been welcome in a place this nice before" he chuckles and looks the place over again. The waiter takes there order and moves on returning a few minetes later with there drinks "The fries will be right out" the waiter says to Danee nodding his head politely then moving away to check other tables. Zank takes his drink sipping the whisky. He nods "Kyo's done good here...this place is gonna be quiet popular t' the Romani i think." <English>
"We'll have to come here more often." Sypher says with a smile. Then he gives a shrug, musing, "Handsome doesn't show up to a beach in a flashy shirt you know." as he gives a little wink. "You know, we should go shopping some time, you and I." <English>
\Doc looks at Kyo and Oliana, "Ahm doing great this evenin..had a hell of a day runnin cago taday...made ovah 7k Creds...so ahm feelin good.."Doc looks at Sink, "lemme buys ya a beer Sink?" Doc looks over to Danee, "Beh thar in a moment Rosie.." Doc looks at Feria andthen Kyo, "Oh...this is Feria..a new mwmbah o mah crew...Feria this beh Kyoshiro an his wife Oliana.." Doc is about to order and looks back at Sink to see what, if anything, he wants to drink. <English>
Gavin waggles his hand at Sy, "Well, you know why I was in the flashy shirt, I shouldn't be allowed to shop by myself most of the time." He then grins and nods, "I think that would be fun, it'll be my treat this time. I can take you to some really nice places where they tailor make clothes. I have a friend... well sister in a loose definition who owns a tailor shop. She makes some of my clothes, I should bring you there. She's amazingly talented." <English>
A flush of color brightens the mechanic's face as Sink asks about the Tranquility and she shakes her head. "I wouldn't rightly know. I left the Tranquility a year or so ago... as Doc said, I crew with him now." A smile on Feria's lips then before Doc gains her attention when he introduces her to Kyo and Oliana. "Pleasure to meet you...this is a really nice place. I like it." Offering that much before she would glance through the eatery once more. Not having gandered at a menu yet, she just continues to tell herself she'll be fine while waiting for things around her to settle. <English>
Sypher just snickers a little, "We'll see. I'll let you show me yours, if you let me show you mine." Well at least he keeps a straight face when he says that. When the food comes, Sypher takes a fry, then offers a smile and motions to the table, saying, "Feel free to try anything you'd like, I wont mind." <English>
Kyoshiro nods to Doc, his brows raising, "Was it those crates you found? Or did you buy some from the vendor in the Trade Office instead of taking on commodities. If you make that much in one run... then we'll have to start using that more on the Jia too." He then nods to Feria, before watching wife scoot away to get a drink, "Baby... Can you get me a Lemonade?" Then back to Feria, "I'm glad you think so Ma'am. I put a lot of time into it." He then looks to Sink and smiles just a bit. <English>
Oliana returns with a wineglass and clear liquid within, she smiles up at Doc and then Kyo turning ot Feria and says, "Welcome to Red Eyes, thank you for coming to the grand opening." She inclines her head to the woman and raises her glass. She looks to Doc and says, "Seven thousand? Well that is a good day." She places her arm in Kyo's arm and nods her head, "Of course my love." <English>
Sink shakes his head quickly at Doc, holding up the his stetson shacking it in a negative fashion, and keeping his distance from the bar, "I gave up the drink many years ago, my old friend. But I'll take a black cup of coffee, if they have it." He then tips his head to Feria, and gives her a knowing smile, "From our last talk, that is not surprising. I hope that you all left... on good terms. Glad you found the Aces. It's a good ship. You'll find no better family to be with." <English>
"This is my wife Oliana... she's hot." Kyo says with a smirk before leaning over to kiss her on the cheek. He takes the Lemonade once she offers it to him. "Thanks darling." He nods to Zink, "Yes sir, coffee anyway you'd like." <English>
Danee sits there sipping her tea and listening to the talk flowing around her. She motions to sink, "Please join us." then becomes quiet again. <English>
Violet sits at a table with the rest of her crew, wearing an elegant dark blue strapless dress, and sipping a glass of scotch. She seems content to let the conversation move around her, or, perhaps, she has nothing to contribute to it. <English>
Of course, Gavin can't resist responding with, "I thought I already did." He then grins and nods, "Certainly. It'll be fun and we'll get nice clothes." He smiles and takes a frie as well and nibbles on it. "I could make another flirting joke but I think one before dinner is enough for now." He then winks and looks at the food wondering where to start. <English>
Doc looks at the barkeep, "A Mahtini and a cup o yer best coffee fer mah friens here.."Doc looks around the place agai and just shakes his head..then to Sink he says...Please joins us...and tries mah beefs..it seems ta bhe goin ovah quite whell..from whaat ah can tells." Doc looks at Feria and then nods to the table Danee is at and says, "That little lady yondah is Dah Knee McGuire...tha one ah tolds ya about." The barkeep sets Doc's martini down and Sinks coffee. Doc hands Sink his brew and takes up his mahtini, "Let us goes an sits with Danee shall whee?" He motions Sink and Feria that way. <English>
Zank sips his drink and listens to Doc and Kyo nearby as they talk of cargo and his ship and crew. As Doc motions to move to the table were Violet, Danee and himself sit he smiles "Yea please come join us, cant imagine a better group of friends t' celebrate Kyo and Oli's accomplishments." he stands quickly and pulls back a few more chairs for them to take seats at the table. He retakes his seat and sips his drink again enjoying himself. <English>
So it's the grand opening of a Steak house of sorts and Conoger is late at this moment. Well more like he was polishing his armor and making sure that the Aces is nicely locked and secure, it is really why he is late. Though in reallity he has made himself prettier, made sure his hair is combed and braided accordingly as well as his beard. Though he is still wearing that horny helmet, he is not wearing that old beat of trench coat he always wears.
Upon entering he looks around a bit, standing near the door and managingto take in all that is within. The viking man stands there in awe and can't help but grin. " nice place." he tries to say it quietly but over all he does have a natural loud voice. Now he enters further, looking about for people he knows but there is so many to look about for. So he starts to walk around and first finds Kyo and his table. " Great job, nice place, I may have to stop by here more often than just once." He nods to all that are at that table and then nods slowly to Sink but then smiles. " Well, must look for others, may as well take a tour of the place, excuse me." Now moving again, looking around, admiring. <English>
Jisae enters the steak house wearing a black shirt and dark purple blouse with a low curved neckline. Her hangs free and flowing. She looks around the room and then sniffs tghe air, "Mmmm...." She begins walking toward the bar, but then she sees her crew. She waves friendly to them both. She smiles specifically to Zank and Violet.
Sypher munches on a fry or two, not really starting in on anything right away. He just sort of waits for Gavin to take what he wants, taking a sip of his irish coffee every so often. <English>
Danee sits at the table and smiles at the crew and Sink. she is not always sure what to say and so she just smiles and sips her tea. But she is admirting the Companion and his date. As well as the lovely dresses and then Conoger. She can't help the smile. <English>
Oliana sips at her drink after handing Kyo his, she gives him a loving smile and turns her attention to the door, "I'm going to go and be the hostess my love, greet people as they come in." She inclines her head to Doc and Feria before she slips away. <English>
Gavin decides on the grilled shrimp first, and spears one on a fork to eat. He seems to enjoy it and then spears another one holding it out to Sypher to try with a smile even as his other hand picks upa few more fries to shove in his mouth. You know the food is good when he forgets his training to be delicate and dainty with his food. <English>
Kyoshiro nods to Oliana and gives her a peck to the lips before she slips away. Then, looking back to Doc, Sink, and Feria. "I'll be over at the table in the moment. I need to go check on customers." The band starts to play a slow song and now he's a little sad that Oli is greeting people. He wanted to try slow dancing with her. Anyways, he starts towards Sypher and Gavin's table. "Good evening Gentlemen. How are you and how's the food?" He asks the two. <English>
Sink looks over to Danee and nods his head and smiles, "I will thanks.", he then takes the coffee from Doc and heads to the table, and notices Conoger (who could miss him), and returns the slow nod. As he moves to the table he notices Sypher, and waves his free hand to get the mans attention, then motions to the man, shifting his thumb from up to down and back up again. He pauses to see if Sypher notices and replies, then he takes his seat and takes a sip of coffee and gives Danee a smile, "It's been a while. How are you? And Fao?" <English>
Sypher takes the shrimp and smirks, savoring it amazingly before something catches his eye. Ever alert, even here, his eyes are drawn to sink and he gives a little quirk of a brow, almost an 'are you nuts?' sort of expression before he laughs and muses, "You know, I've never been good with signals, Sinklar." <English>
Danee smiles at Sink, "We are Good. Fao has been elected to the Kris. Youngest member ever. So he is away alot. But we are good. How are you and your family? I hope every one is well? Isn't this place wonderful? Oliana and Kyo have done a wonderful job." she realizes she is babling and so picks up the tea. But she asks before she thinks. "Do yo know where we can pick up a weapons array?" <English>
Violet looks a the menu, and, when the waiter wanders by next, she orders the steak with grilled shrimp, baked potatoe and veggies, with a caesar salad on the side and french onion soup to start, with a chocolate kahlua milkshake to drink. She blinks up at the waiter, who's staring at her tinyness. "What?" she asks, blankly. The waiter smiles, nervously, and heads off to put in the huge order. <English>
Gavin smiles brightly, a genuine happy smile as Sy enjoys the shrimp. SO he continues like this, eating a piece then offering up a piece to Sy to eat. Then there is Kyoshiro, who Gavin smiles at politely, "Quite fabulous so far. My compliments to the chefs and owner and the staff is delightful." <English>
Zank listens to the conversation around him and nods to Sink as he arrives at the table talking to Danee. He looks at the door as Jisae enters and he smiles brightly at her. He stands and pulls out the chair next to him between Violet and himself. As she gets closer "Hey darlin..ya look great this evenin" he says. He turns his head to Danee quickly raiseing an eyebrow at the mention of a weapons array. He brings his attention back to Jisae making a note to listen more to that conversation in a moument. <English>
At some point, Feria wound up with a drink in her hand, and she would wind up downing it in a good few swallows. Setting the glass back on the bar, she turns towards the tables where a few handful of crew members from a ship or two gathered. A swallow for the lump in the back of her throat and a breath later, she looks to Doc and offers a smile. "If it's all the same for the moment, I'm going to grab a breath of fresh air." Stepping forward a moment, so she can speak low enough for only the Doc to hear, a note is left in his ear and then she saunters towards the exit. Kinda quick-like. <English>
Doc moves with Sink and Feria to danee's table. He pulls out a chair for Feria..then smiles at Violet. He looks at Danee and says, "Rosie?..this here's Feria...Esthah's best friend an a new membah o tha aces...Feira?...this is Dah Knee...of the Jia..ourah sistah ship." <English>
Jisae smiles to Zank when he looks at her. She hugs him warmly and kisses him briefly on the lips. "Thank you. So...this is it? This is Kyo's place..? Wow..." She looks around again before she sits down. She leans close to Zank and whispers into his ear. <English>
It takes Conoger a bit of time to look around and admire all that is and specialy all them big screens with sports and news that is happening. Nearly bumping into waiters and waitreses he decides that he best go and find a place to sit. He so happens to miss the large gathering of people he knows and finds the bar. Nothing wrong with the bar but there is so much to chose from. So he stands there, looking, thinking and simply admiring the amount there is, so neat and tidy.
Then the viking grins and looks at the bartender and leans in. " You got the good scotch? I mean the one that tastes real good and hardto come by. I had it once and don't remember the name but it left a lasting taste in my mouth, so I wants it now." Not sure what may be the problem, perhaps it's the braided hair or beard, maybe the horned helm or that creepy smile that a viking gives the bartender. In either case the bartender starts to look and Conoger can only hope there is that special kind of scotch. <English>
Sink gives Sypher a chuckle and looks over his shoulder to him, "Just asking how the ward is doing. My guess is okay, if you are out here.", he then looks to Danee and smiles and nods, "I'm proud of Fao. He's come a long way since he was on the Dragon, and now on the Kris. So very proud. I would love to catch up with him. I saw him not long ago, but it was before the vote. He may not have the time to see me now that he's so important.", there is another chuckle, and he returns Zank's nod, before he relaxes into his chair. <English>
Doc was about to introduce Feria to Danee but he didn't get the chance as Feria heads for the front door and fresh air. <English>
Zank smiles and returns the hug a kiss and takes a seat next to Jisae. "It really is impresseive." he says and leans in to whisper back to her <English>
Sypher gives Kyoshiro a glance when he comes up and smiles to the man. "Heavenly," he muses, then adds, "And you have someone working for you who knows how to make a decent irish coffee too, I'm impressed. Most don't do it quite right." Then he gives Sink a glance and nods, "She's doing better than expected actually." <English>
Kyoshiro smirks just a bit, before speaking to Gavin, Sypher a bit more distracted by his conversation with Sink. "Well my wife and I own it, and I'm glad you're please. We put a lot of work into this. Also, I'll let Vlad know you enjoyed it." He glances to the door where Oliana greets Jisae on her way in before his red eyes, and core accented monotone voice returns to Gavin. "So... when did you and Sypher become a couple?" He asks rather bluntly, but he seems to just be making conversation. <English>
Gavin smiles and inclines his head, "Well then, my compliments to you and your wife. My name is Gavin Sendral." He has a core accent as well but it's a rather smooth accent as he reaches for his tea and smiles slightly, "Oh we're not a couple. I'm a companion." <English>
A waitress come around to the Table with Danee and the others, delivering Sink's Porterhouse cooked to perfection. "Here you go, Sir... do enjoy, and let me know if you need anything more." <English>
It does not take long for the bartender to find what Conoger was looking for and a glass is poured for him and slid. The viking takes it in hand, almost magestic in the way he looks at it and then takes a good gulp from it. The viking shivers and then licks his lips ever so slowly. His eyes open wide and he looks to the bartender. " I want the bottle." and the viking seems to insists as he hands over how ever much it costs. No hesitation from the bartender and the viking is happy, no one is hurt, all is well.
So the viking turns, a bottle in hand, a glass on the other and he starts to walk around again. Eventualy he finds the big group of friends and smiles. " There ya all be, was wondering where you all were but I find ya alright, you all can't hide from me." Then stops and blinks, looking at all the women at the table and takes a step back. " Here I thought I died and gone to Valhada. Lovely ladies and indeed this is a fine night indeed." Now he takes a step forwards, drinking his liquid from the glass and standing by them all. " So, whats good ta eat here?" and he is simply grining, cuddleling that bottle like a baby. <English>
Jisae nods to the whispered response. She smiles brightly at Kyo, "Congratulations on a beautiful place, Kyo-san." Jisae orders herself some food and joins in on the celebration.<English>
Doc rises now and takes up a hick beer mug and starts hittin the side with a spoon to gather everyone's attention. When he got thier attention he says in a loud voice, "Ah proposes a toast....a toast ta Kyoshiro Mibu and his wife Oliana....fer makin tha investment they made in buldin this more than vary fine estaablishment...Kyo..Olian..mah friends..ya'll totally outdid yerselves in yer investment...may business beh godd ta ya an may ya has many years of fine food an drink...HERE HERE!..."Doc raises his Martini to the couple and then takes a sip...." The Mibu's people.." <English>
Zank turns and looks to Doc as he raises his glass. He nods a smiles at the mans words and raises his own glass. "Here here" he says in response to Doc and before sipping tilts his glass to Oli and Kyo before taking a long drag. He lowers the glass and joins the conversation at the table. He enjoys the night to its fullest. <English>
Sypher actually laughs and muses, "Come not my friend, you know how my line of work." As if that should explain something to the man. After all, he knows what this slender figure does well enough. "It makes a real relationship rather, difficult." Then he gives a pause, hearing the toast and raises his own glass slightly before taking a sip, musing, "Though it is a pity, I'll admit." into the cup. <English>
Danee lifts her mug and and toasts kyo and Oliana. She can't help the smiles. She is so proud of them and so happy for them. <English>
Violet smiles as the waiter starts to bring her huge plates filled with food, and starts chowing down, cheerfully, despite her elegant gown. <English>
Kyoshiro chuckles to Sypher, patting his shoulder, "I did not mean to presume my friend." He looks to Gavin, "A companion, well, I am honored." He nods slowly in a bit of a bow before stepping back. "Please to enjoy your selves. Plenty here to keep you occupied." His red eyes glance to his group of friends, where Violet is and he frowns a bit. "If you gentlemen will excuse me." He walks towards the table and stops in front of Violet, holding out a hand to her. "Excuse me ma'am. I couldn't help but notice how lovely you look this evening and I was wondering if I could step on your toes for a bit..." He winks to her with a smirk. <English>
Gavin smiles at the man and lifts his glass of tea as a toast as well. "The honor is mine." He inclines his head and then turns back to Sy as Kyo heads off. "You are quite well known, I see." He then digs into his salad, because a well balanced meal is key to good health. "I'm sure there is hope for you, Sy. Just don't give up though I will miss you when you find the right guy." <English>
Conoger hears the toast coming from Doc and he raises his glass in the air. " To Kyo and Oliana." then he dowons the glass and grins sheepishly at everyone at the table. So no one told him what is good to eat but he starts to look at what they have infront of them. Then without asking he squeezes between anyone and Danee, almost sitting on her by accident, then plops there and grins. " So, what ya eating?" as he looks to Danee. Though at the same time he pours himself another glass and keeps the bottle tuck real close to his leg. Hearing Kyo invite Violet to dance he raises a brow. " Did I miss the dance floor?" <English>
Danee watches Zank leave and then looks around. She laughs as Connoger sits on Zank's recently emptied chair. She picks up a fry and wave sit in his direction. "Ye sthere is a dance floor. Why don't you invite one of the lovely ladies to dance with you." <English>
Violet blinks up at Kyo, her mouth full of food. Wide-eyed, she swallows, and, stifling a little burp, puts her hand in his and lets him help her up. She smiles up at him, adoringly and nods, mutely, clearly enjoying her little Cinderella moment. So, her Prince Charming's happily married to his own Princess. Doesn't mean he can't have this dance... <English>
Sypher takes a bite of the catfish, finishing his bite before he muses, "Somehow, I doubt you'll have to worry about 'missing me' for a long time, my dear. I have the same luck with men that I have with explosives." with a little chuckle. <English>
Picking up a tomato, Gavin shrugs and gives a small snicker. "No matter. There is still time for you." He holds up the tomato and raises a brow to see if Sy will open his mouth for it. <English>
Doc downs his Martini and looks at the door, "Hmmm..guess ah'll goes an checks on Feria..." Doc sets his drink down and heads for the door. Once there he slips out. <English>
Conoger looks at Danee's fry and blinks. " What kind of meat you like, did ya gobble it all up already?" then looks around to maybe see the dance floor. " Danee, you know how big my feet are, ya think I am co-ordinated enough not to crush toes, specialy women folk type toes?" As he drink a bit more from his glass again. As he sets the glass down, he is smiling a bit more, relaxing some now. Then he leans in and whispers to Danee, his breath smelling of scotch. <English>
Kyoshiro intertwines his fingers with Violets hand and he helps her up, leading her over to a cleared area near where the band plays. There are people dancing to a slower song already. Ones there her puts his other hand on the small womans hip and starts to move a bit to the rhythm. He goes slow, his red eyes completely focused on her small feet, attempting not to step on them as he moves clumsily to the music. It seems Kyo has never danced before... He blushes a bit, one because of the toast, and two because he's not really impressing anyone, especially violet, with his Dance skills. "Sorry if I suck..." He says to her with a nervous chuckle, "Saw you sitting all alone." <English>
Danee leans against Connoger and whispers back. Then she kisses his cheek and standing she sya sto those who are there. "Good night every one. I have really enjoyed the evening." before she heads to the door. <English>
Violet gazes up at Kyoshiro, smiling, and sort of sways, awkwardly, with him. "I ain' much of a dancer, neither." she tells him, reassuringly. And, it's the truth. She does manager to step on his toes a couple of times, but she's pretty tiny, so probably not much harm done. Each time she winces and apologizes. In between, she says, "Thanks. I feel like a cake in this dress." she says, ruefully. "An' also like it's gonna fall off any minute. It's only bein' held up by modesty. An' Lord knows, I ain' got much of that." She dimples at Kyoshiro. "I'm so proud of you. This place is wonderful." she says, warmly. <English>
Sink finally wakes up from his long thought, and picks up the knife and fork, and digs into the beef, cutting strips, and poking at the pink center. "Nice", he says to no one in particular as he starts to chew slowly. He glances at the dance floor, and watches, taking his time with the meal. <English>
Sypher gives Gavin a glance and a smirk, "Are you having fun trying to feed me?" he says with a grin, then notices Kyoshiro attempting to dance and actually winces, giving Gavin a little, "Excuse me a moment." as he stands up and walks over to him and Violet. "Seriously my friend, it's easier than you think." he says with a grin, then does a little mock of what Kyoshiro SHOULD be doing(alone mind you, which probably looks funny) as he muses, "Think more about the music, the moment and the partner you're with, you'll find the steps come easier that way." He gives a little laugh, then sort of, spins away from the pair and adds, "Seriously, it's like cooking. The right gesture at the right time, a bit of spice here and there." Oh, Kyoshiro must have done SOMETHING to deserve that corny comment somewhere back down the line. Then, just to be a dork, the assassin actually moon-walks off the dance floor and spins before heading back to his table.. regardless of the fact that it's the wrong kind of music for that. <English>
Conoger hmmms as he hears Danee's whisper and then turns his head slowly to look at her. His face perhaps stunned or maybe concern but he is not as happy as he was before. He can't say much more as she instantly stands up and leaves the establishment, all he does is watch her go. He leans back then and grabs his glass and drinks some more scotch and sets it down gently, still looking at the door. It takes a few moments to realize that a waitress is asking if he like to order and the viking smiles and nods, he had glimpsed at the menu an. "Give me two orders of the Rib-Eye Steak with ribs and shrimp, oh and a glass of water lass." He smiles and winks but then he goes back to sitting back and thinking. Others have gone and he sits at the table and he manages to look at Sink, which he is at the same table. " How is the family Sink?" <English>
Gavin smiles and nods even as Sy gets up from the table. So he watches the show and snickers as he shakes his head at Sy's antics. "A bit of a show off, there, but still entertaining." <English>
Oliana looks over to watch Kyo dancing, and not doing a great job at it, she chuckles and leaves the door to make her way to the bar. Sliding up onto the stool she crosses her legs , bearing most of it to the mid thigh. <English>
Kyoshiro doesnt seem too bothered by Violet stepping on his toes. "Well, neither am I. Oliana and I never danced or anything simply because of this reason. I was hoping to try it tonight... but I'm afraid she'd get mad at me for stepping on her silk slippers." He smirks just a bit as he looks up finally getting a hang of it a bit. "The dress is stunning, if not revealing. And I'd be lieing if it didn't get me thinking dirty things." He chuckles, "But don't worry I'm a married man." He smirks, "It really is lovely." He glances over to his wife at the bar and give her a thumbs up. When Sypher glides over with his expertise, he raises and eyebrow and blinks as he watches the man, trying to imitate him. "Huh..." <English>
Sypher chuckles and muses, "Perhaps a little, but it's well worth it to help out a friend." He gives a little smile as he sits back down, then takes a sip of his Irish coffee before giving Gavin a glance and a smirk. "I'm glad you found it entertaining." <English>
Violet flushes at Kyoshiro's compliments, and looks away, clearly embarassed. She blinks as Sypher approaches, and watches his antics with a bemused look on her face. When Kyoshiro tries to imitate the moves, she laughs a little, her eyes sparkling and her dimples showing. <English>
Sink continues his careful dissection and consumption of the stake. "If Doc where here I would happily complement on raising you so well.", the words are meet for the cow on his plate. <English>
Conoger eventualy gets his meal and instantly starts to eat. Amazingly enough he uses fork and knife but that is pretty much all that is normal. He starts to eat heartedly and grins as he drinks at the same time. He says nothing much at the moment. <English>
Kyoshiro moves along with violet untill the song ends. At which time he steps back and bows to her, "Thank you for the dance Mei Mei. Rocky start but I think we were able to handle it after that." He chuckles, looking to his wife at the bar before he looks back to Violet. "Go finish your meal before it gets too cold." <English>
Violet dimples up at Kyo and nods, scampering... well... tottering back to her seat. "Thanks for the dance!" she chirps, before happily digging in to her food. She recognizes Thor and gives him a dimpled grin around a mouth ful of steak, waggling a fork at him in greeting. <English>
Sink looks up from his steak to Conoger, "To answer your question, the family is doing alright. Lirin is off doing some research into Cal's problem. There's some plant that might be helpful. She's tracking it down. Cal... well, she's holding up." He shrugs, then nods to Violet as she comes back to the table. <English>
Gavins shrugs and smiles, "Never a dull moment with you. Concidering you walked on the ceiling, this was quite normal and amusing. By the way, are the devil slinkies enjoying the squeeky fish? And is your daughter loving her kitten?" He finishes his salad and tucks into his dinner before looking at Sy's food that he hardly touched probably because he was being fed by this adorable man. <English>
Conoger looks towards Violet as she comes back and nods to her, he is s till chewing his food even, though he does wink and goes back to eating. It was Sinks words that make him stop and swallow his food. A frown is definitly on his features. " Still having that problem." he shakes his head and leans back a bit and thinks a bit. " You do know, if ya'll need help in any way I can help you can call me, I will come and help." <English>
