RLI Security Roles

Red Lion Industries hires security-related individuals at competitive salaries and benefits. We value individuals who are skilled and willing to work on a team that consistently maintains a high standard of excellence.

Persons interested in working for RLI Security should be fun to get along with OOC, understand that conflict (especially with combat and security) is great story when it's done with clear communication and a sense of fun. We value story above all but having fun on the game.

Fighters

• Plain and simple, these are people who know how to fight. Typical fighter types with skills in:
  • Firearms
  • Demolitions
  • Security Systems
  • Martial Arts
• Should have a rough idea of combat ideas, including being clueful about tactics, icomm use. Should be willing to work as a team and take orders, as well as give feedback promptly.

Investigators

• People who are good at finding out information, either from staff for plots or from players through IC interaction. Should have skills in some of the following:
  • Gather Information
  • Con Artist
  • Intimidate
  • Persuasion
  • Pick Pocket
  • Seduction
  • Dirty Pool
• Should be willing and able to take own initiative to find out information on something, and do so with good OOC cooperation with the players involved. When not given a specific assignment, should be willing to gather information on individuals of interest (a list of which will always be available)

Informants

• People who spend much of their time gathering information of interest. This can be in addition to another primary job, but an agreement exists to pass on information for pay. Should have skills in some of the following:
  • Gather Info
  • Listen
  • Spot
  • Move Silently
  • Disguise
  • Willpower
• Should be willing to pass on information gained Icly, and to go out and involve yourself in scenes in order to be in a position to learn things of value.

GoTo Men

• People who are good at specific things, such as owning a company, being a supplier, having a ship, etc, who have entered into an agreement to share services with RLI security on an as-needed basis, for pay. This is more of a mutual relationship than employment, though the understanding is one of preferred service.
• If someone is good at something and wants to be specifically employed for it (transports, cargo, has connections, etc), they should be fairly self-motivated to participate in the group without getting bored.
