Dead Broke - Everything Lucille ever had has been gambled and fettered away. She can't resist a wager, and so even when she's on a winning streak, she just can't make herself stop until it's all gone again.
Hooked - Lucille thrives on the rush and adrenaline of risk, wager, and gambles. She just can't seem to be happy unless that happiness is balanced on the narrow ledge between having and losing; no risks, no rewards.

History
Lucille has been a gambler all her life. As a child, she's make wagers about who could swim the farthest or hold their breath the longest on the banks and oceans of Newhall. In school, the wagers were whose grades were the highest, and whose homework was done fastest. As an adult, it's any games of chance she can find. Eventually addictions to thrill got the best of her at the casinos of LaVegan and Ezra, and before she knew it, she'd wagered away her whole life, including the ship she once owned and Captained. So now, much too late in life, she's right back where she started, rock bottom, nothing to her name, and trying too little and too late to get it all back as she hopes her luck will play out better in this next hand. Because if there's one thing a gambler knows, it's that there is *always* a next hand.
