Description

This lovely young woman stands just at 5 feet 6 inches tall and weights about 130 pounds. Her raven black hair has been pulled up to the back of her head allowing the rest to fall into a cascade of curls. Soft curls frame about her face to soften the severity of the style. Her emerald green eyes peer out from beneath dark arched brows and are outlined with thick, black lashes. The young woman's face is a classic heart-shaped one with a delicate jaw line and cheekbones. Her nose is small and pert with a small splash of freckles upon them while her lips are glossed and full. From her ears hang a set of delicate earrings. Emerald stones hold a chandelier of filigree in which the center holds a large onyx stone.

She wears a burgundy off the shoulder blouse with puffy sleeves and wide cuffs that flows down to her hips. The shirt overlaps black form fitting pants until they reach about mid-calf where they flare just enough to allow room for her black two-inch heeled boots. Around her neck is a long golden chain with a delicate and tasteful crucifix hanging from it that rests just at her cleavage.

Wedding Band and Engagement Ring

Love is not simple, nor is this ring. The shape of the band is a wave, a refection of the ocean. Calm, smooth at the bottom, like the sea far from shore, but as the metal moves towards the settings, the calm starts to break into a wave, and the shape moves smoothly from circle to a curving twist asymmetric on either side of the stone placements. There are two metal bands of this breaking wave shape, that snuggle comfortable together. One band is white gold, one band is black gold, joined together at the top with the gems. The black gold band is different. The wave extends as it reaches the settings, and stretches, becoming branches and wrapping around the center diamond setting. The branches end in small brilliant stones, three on either side of the brilliant diamond. The small gem buds on each side has a green emerald, flanked by blue sapphires.

There is an inscription from Corinthians 13:4-7, not an complete quote, but parts. On the white gold: always protects, trusts, hopes, perseveres. On the black gold: keeps no record of wrongs.

The shape of the band is a wave, a refection of the ocean. Calm, smooth at the bottom, like the sea far from shore, but as the metal moves towards the top, the calm starts to break into a wave, and the shape moves smoothly from circle to a curving twist. It's a perfect match to the engagement ring, and is of white gold. It fittings beside the black gold band of the engagement ring, so when together it is white gold, black, white.

There is an inscription, but unlike the engagement ring, the quote isn't from the bible but another author, "never lose faith, hope nor love."

Back Story

Former Alliance officer and doctor, she retired with full honors and rank and turned from the military world to one of private medical practice. As a Doctor she owns and operates a medical clinic out of her home on Paquin along with the roving medical ship called Panacea's Passage. In tandem with her private practice she also owns and operates Dumont Medical Services. She is married to Sinklar Fist who is, in turn, captain of the Dark Dragon and owner/proprietor of the Steel Dragon Shipyard. Her elder sister, Calira Dumont, is a Colonel in the Alliance while also holding a Bounty Hunter's license among other duties. Lirin is a well known philanthropist and humanitarian, the Dumont family having been established upon Paquin for more than forty years as of 2528 with one of the Dumont family homes located upon that tropical paradise world.
