Toolbar

When editing a page, you may have noticed the toolbar at the top of the text box. These buttons are useful if you either don't remember a particular code or just don't know any. There is more to wiki code than just these buttons, and it includes the more common functions in editing pages...or creating pages.

From Left to Right

The first two should be obvious. The B is for bold and pretty much is the same as using three apostrophes;'''bold'''.

The I is for italic text. It is the same as inputting two apostrophes.

Ab is for internal links. It is the same as using [[]]'s.

The world with the page by it is for providing external links. It's the same as using []'s.

The A is for level 2 headings...same as == ==.

The button with the portrait is for linking uploaded files to the page. [[image:image.jpg]] is the same.

The button that looks like a horn is media files like videos or music...same as [[media:media.ogg]].

The button with the square root is obvious...it's for math equations. Same as <math></math>.

The W with the prohibited symbol is for canceling out wiki code...same as I have been doing for the above. It is <nowiki></nowiki>.

The scribble thing is for your signature. Same as --~~~~.

The line is for a horizontal line. Same as ----.

Note: This is not the whole thing...the text box will take HTML so if you know that, you could use that...example <u></u> is for underlining.
