Tips from Jack Carson:
- If you need an example of code use, find a page that uses the code you want to use and click 'edit.' Do not change contents of page unless it is your own. If it is exact, copy the needed code and edit the contents for you purposes...or follow it by example!
- Need a template, or need to edit a template that is used on a particular page? While it 'edit' mode, there will be text embedded inside {{}}. Find the template under 'edit' mode where it would be located in the article view, and then scroll to the bottom on your browser and you will see the template under templates used on this page:.
- Using the IC or OOC templates on your page will let the player know when it is safe to use info from a wiki page as IC knowledge, or when to not use it as IC knowledge. You can use the template more than once and place both IC and OOC template boxes on different parts when you want to separate IC and OOC information on your wiki. Also, if that is too cumbersome and you think it looks messy, you could also just specify it within the section as regular text.
- You can either click the 'edit' tab to edit the whole page or you can click [edit] under each section to edit single sections.
