Description
Long, wavy, and voluminous bright crimson hair. Strands braided and tied around the back in a Celtic knot to keep it from getting in her icy blue eyes. A pointed nose and angular features, full red lips and pale freckle-less almost porcelain like skin. She seems to always wear a wry sort of smile. She is lithe and graceful. Not too tall, but not too short, maybe about Five foot Four to Five foot Six. She smells of expensive perfume and fragrance. He figure is lovely, curves in all the right places but not overly voluptuous. Her legs are long an elegant. She looks confident and set in her ways. Confidence abound.
She wears a simple blouse of varying color on any given day. The top two or three buttons undone depending on the need for comfort, exposing perhaps some of her cleavage. Over that is perhaps a long coat or jacket. Tight leather or wool breeches accent her long legs and round rump. The outfit is complete with a utility and gun belt, holster hung lower on her right hip. Two calf high boots, kept well polished and clean.
History
Freyja Hildisvni was born on Bestla, moon of Aesir, orbiting the Protostar Himinbjorg in the Red Sun System to a couple of indentured servants just four short years after the end of the Unification War. Her parents were indentured to a well established Industrial Barron on the world. Her father worked the factory, while her mother worked in the Baron's house as a servant. She loved to read and learn. She grew up speaking Norse, a Scandanavian Language with her parents as that was their heritage. But she picked up words and phrases from other languages quite easily, a natural linguist. She loved to learn. SHe was also born with an Alergy to Sedatives and some pollens, which were troublesome in the spring. Having blue eyes, there was a predesposition to being color blind. She had trouble identifying certain reds and greens. If put together they almost became invisible to her perception. As she grew older she would join her mother in that work. It was here that she could socialize with the Baron's children, particularly his oldest daughter Isolde. The two would get into much trouble together, and would even develop into their early teens, a budding romantic relationship. Though, when this was found out they were both punished. Freyja was brutally beaten, lashings whipped across her back, and might have been put to death. Isolde was the daughter of a Baroness and she a simple Indentured Servant who could never dream to pay off her parent's (or her) debt. Thankfully, she had also befriended the 'family' Companion who sometimes made stops to 'interact' with those of the noble family. Not wanting any more pain, and out of empathy, the Companion Eleanor bought and paid for Freyja. The red-headed teenager who was developing into a lovely young woman herself became the personal handmaiden to Eleanor where she learned some of the various techniques of being a Companion. Not just that of seduction and pleasure, but of Diplomacy, sleight of hand, value, Persuasion, and how to get a good Bargain... how to get what Intel you need and how to maintain informational connections. She was also taught on a basic level how to defend herself in a situation. However, what she didn't know was that Eleanor was prepping her to be a Companion so she could enter the Guild. Freyja wasn't interested in that. Despite the money shoe could earn, she didn't want to be held the the restrictions of Companion life. There was a bit of falling out between the two, but in the end Eleanor was fair and let Freyja have her freedom. She wandered the 'verse for a bit, having a few interesting experiences in the Underground. Specifically the Beylix Underground. Smugglers who taught her the value or Agorism and how to get a job done properly, also where she picked up the habit of constant caffeine injections through soda, coffee, and tea. Any stimulant that kept her going because money wasn't made sleeping... well depends upon the profession. Her connections eventually lead her to settle on Persephone. The Hub between the Core and the Boarder and some Rim worlds. There was money to be made there. That she needed.
