Location: Shenjing's Cargo Bay

The sound of a single form can be heard making its way up the ramp, the bootsteps holding that sound of military precision as Weylin makes his way onboard. Though instead of being greeted with the sight of an Alliance uniform the man is at this time in civies, his Alliance military badge hanging from a chain around his neck as he glances over the area before looking to those present. His walther held at his side as he gives a soft smile though making no move as of yet to place the weapon back in its holster. "Afternoon everyone, Sorry about this but we have reason to believe a fugitive is currently onboard this ship. So I am going to need to see all of your identifications." His right hand lifting to scratch his fingers across his jaw as he steps further into the cargo hold. "Now before we begin the ident checks, Is there a Mr. Kilbride present aboard this vessel." His eyes moving from person to person in turn. <English>

"Friendly? Well, I won't be bustin' out the hooch, and snack trays, lass. But, I won't shoot on sight, either. That's mighty welcoming, I think." Rodney reply is slightly amused, as he steps up to stand next to Akiana, before the cargo ramp, waiting to see what this little visit brings. "I'm Rodney Kilbride, by the way, lass. Member of the crew, more or less. Just been away for a while." A glance over his shoulder, to keep an eye on Roxana, just in case. "Sorry to be stickin' you with doin' work." Another aside to Akiana is bitten off, as the single Alliancc officer makes his way onto the ship. A hand is raised, and the Scotsman smiles. "That's me. But, I don't know that I qualify as a fugitive. I'm currently in the custody of a pair of Hunters in the Guild, and awaiting transport to Persephone to meet with the Guildmaster." A pause, and he tilts his head..."Unless it was involving another matter? Which, I might say, I find quite unlikely. Unless ye bloody trumped up something to soothe a wounded ego, after our little exchange?" <English>

Roxie makes her way down the ramp behind Akiana and Rodney. The woman is still wearing her sleep wear it seems. INNOCENT sleep wear, boys. A white cotton tunic and some rgeen plaid pajama pants. Her feet are bare. With her dark hair pulled back in a ponytail, Roxie turns her head over to the ramp as it lowers to allow the evil empire to board. Roxie shoots a glance forewards at Rodney when badge speaks. <English> Well, most of them were in the cargo bay. One such wasn't, and she steps down from the central promenade about the time Weylin enters the scene. Kellyn is, as always, accompanied by James, her head of security. Today, she's in full uniform, minus the jacket, which is folded neatly across her forearm. "What is going on, Lieutenant Commander?" Her voice is a rather deep contralto. She pauses as Rodney speaks, and tilts her head. Expression thoughtful. <English>

As she had said on the icom, Amaya is working on getting off the ship. She schools her face into a quiet smile as she takes a deep breath and slowly lets it out. She is dressed in a navy blue kimono that subtle pattern woven into the fabric. Her obi is bright and gay as it has butterflies depicted on it. Her long thick black hair is unbound cascades down her back to her waist. She is following just behind Kellyn. Her almond shaped blue grey eyes have a quiet yet tired look in them. <English>

The comm chatter has stopprd Shou in her tracks at undressing. A string of chinese flows from her lios as she grabs her weapons harness and shrugs it back on then hits the hatch out of her cabin. Lifts be damned, she hops the bannester and rided it to the second deck and then does the samt thing into the cargobay, landind at a jog and heading to the main hatch "Just what the hell is going on here? I don't remember booking a circius. At ease, all of you!" She stepd forward to face Weylin, "Now then, I am Shou siwang, XO of this ship and I want to knoe by what right you widh to board her, please." Her voice if firm but not unfrirndly. Just business like. State your case for boarding." <English>

Akiana goes to say something but everyone else stops her in her tracks. Shou's entrance and the command to at ease, though that illicits a "Yes ma'am." from the security officer. And though Weylin makes his case, it seems Rodney's up to admitting who he is rather quickly - which was all well and good - until the word fugitive is used. Still, she hopes to remain in the background - of sorts - and tilts her head one way then the other. As the crowd grows bigger, Kia wishes she could sink back more, though a brief albeit subtle shake of her head causes her to stand ground though at ease. <English>

Weylin's head shakes some at the words from Rodney, "This has nothing to do with our exchange, This has to do with a warrant for your arrest outside of the guild and within the Alliance. Your wanted for Aiding and abetting known fugitives and assault with a deadly weapon among other charges. It has taken some time to get a lead on you Mr. Kilbride, But then again better late then never I believe the phrase is. I would ask that you please hand over any weapons you might have and come with me Mr. Kilbride." A small smile offered to the man as his hand moved the walther to slide it back into the holster. His attention moving to the tired looking Roxie as he gives her a nod before his attention is stolen away by Kellyn. His form going straight suddenly as he offers the woman a salute. "Admiral, I am here to take in a man who is a wanted fugitive of the Alliance so that he may be processed and then the courts can decide what to do with him." His hand motioning towards Rodney as his hand finally lowers. His eyes glancing for a moment Amaya giving her a small smile and nod before giving he looks to the newest arrival being Shou. "As I have told them, I am here because one of the people on this ship is wanted by the Alliance." His hand motioning once more to Rodney as if on autopilot "As a courtesy to the owner of this vessel I will not be handcuffing Mr. Kilbride until we are on the shuttle and on our way to the Alliance Station on Persephone." Another glance is given to Akiana before he refocuses his attention back on the subject of his intrest. <English>

Rodney is silent for a moment, eyes narrowing beneath his Stetson, and thumbs tucking behind his gunbelt, as he considers the Alliance officer's words. "Alright. So, trumped something up then, gotcha." The gears are clearly turning behind his eyes, at this point, and his hands flex, as he fights his general reflex to a situation like this. "I want to know what in the hell you're talking about, before I go -anywhere- peacefully, chap...When and where were these charges filed?" He's not quite as languid as he was before, standing straighter, and staring at Weylin. Well, until his eyes shift toward Shou, glancing at the arriving Alliance bras, with a slightly quirked brow.....and then back to Shou. "I wish I knew what these charges were about, Exec. Then maybe, I could give you a proper answer not-filtered through some stuff-shirt as to what this circus was about."

Roxana crosses her arms standing besides Rodney. She certainly does not have his imposing presence, but damnit, that is one judgemental look she is giving! She doesn't think she can say anything that would help, though she soon gives Rodney a questioning look. Did ya? She silently asks. She's helped him with shinnanigans before. <English>

Kellyn considers the other Alliance officer speaks. Her brow furrows a little bit, and she glances to Rodney. "No. The charges weren't trumped." She offers a nod to Shou, then holds up a hand to everyone. "Stop. Everyone, just stop. One moment." She closes her eyes for a moment, then starts speaking like she's reading a report. "June ninth, twenty-five twenty-seven. This person is wanted on charges of piracy, treason, aiding and abetting a known fugitive, assault with a deadly weapon, endangering a minor as well as destruction of property. If found detain and inform Recon for a prisoner transfer to a secure location." She opens her eyes again and looks to Weylin. "That is from the Shadowdancer incident, yes?" <English>

"The accused has a right to know the spcifics of the charges against them. What fugitives has he aidded and abetted and who is he acussed of assaulting with a deadly weapon?" Shou asks Weylin. Her vioce is civil and businesslike as she looks the Alliance man straight in the eye. She looks over at the mention of the 'dancer "That ship was destroyed in a solar accident, the captain and owner killed. Remaining crew of thet ship were granted amnesty to my understanding." <English>

A formal Japanese style bow is offered to Welyin, it causes Amaya's hair falls forward in curtain of black silk. Straightening up her brow furrows a little bit. "Photographic memory." Amaya mutters under her breath. Those eyes still have a quiet calm look in them as she watches this unfold before her. She leans back slightly on her heels as she stays behind Kellyn for the time being. <English>

Akiana blinks a little. Well this was a bit over her head. She wasn't fully knowledgeable on Alliance protocol and certainly had no idea of the incident they were speaking of. Being born on the Rim and living on the same planet for several decades gives a person such form of amnesty. Her only other move is another rub against both her eyes - visibly wincing when she touches the bruised eye and she mutters a curse or two. <English>

Weylin's brow quirks up at the man's words, "These charges are not trumped up, They have been in our systems for over six months. Now I have offorded courtesy to the Owner of this vessel and her crew, Though if you wish to continue to contest this matter here I will have no choice other then to add Resisiting Arrest to the current charges and make recomendation that you not be granted bail due to this and your..past record. Do not try and play the innocent or the fool Mr. Kilbride, It is not endearing by any means. I know of your past..acts as well as your past charge of Manslaughter. I can also make recommendations that your weapons permit be revoked until such a time as you complete all judments handed down by the courts as well as well as weapon safety courses and a psychiatric evaluation to judge your stability and competence..in your old age." A small smile cracking across his lips as he watches the man a few moments longer, His left hand returning to his walther unsnapping the small strap that holds it in place. His attention drifting over Roxana as he looks back to Kellyn, "I am not sure Admiral, But I do know that with this man's colorful background chances should not be taken. And that this matter is best resolved at the AFS on Persephone. That way things are handled with proper procedures." His words spoken softly and easily. "Also the charges of Assault with a deadly weapon do have witnesses that also must be taken into consideration for the damages that they recieved both physical and mental in nature from this mans actions." His attention then returning to the XO of the vessel as she speaks. "The accused has been informed of what the charges are, the specifics of those crimes though are considered confidential Alliance files and not meant for the public, When he is prossessed at the AFS more information will be given to him as well as an Attorney provided to him should he not be able to afford one. As for who he attacked, That will be known when he attends court. For the safety of the past victims it is how it has to be to..insure that there is no retaliation. As for their Amnesty it was in regards to the charges of Piracy and Treason, Not to other crimes commited by them seperate from that. Now please step aside so I may take this man into custody or you will face charges of Obstructing an Alliance Officer in the course of their duties." His eyes watching the woman a few moments longer before glancing over towards Amaya at her words, His eyes showing a slight curiosity though it fades quickly enough as he looks back over those gathered. <English>

"Tell me who, specifically, I assaulted with a deadly weapon, chap. I've got no recollection of it, and you told me the generalities of my charges, and not the specifics don't help to put this matter to bed." Rodney, now that he has some idea of what is actualy going on, seems to have relaxed, since he -knows- he didn't actually take part in the chaos. Not that the truth is always that helpful, in legal matters. "And, you can spare the bluster. It -really- isnt going to get to anyone in this cargo bay, and merely adds to an aura of pomposity that pervades your person." A smile over toward the Rear Admiral..."Now, perhaps, you can allow that darling of a senior officer handle this? She seems both competent and knowledgable. Whereas, I'm one, but not the other. And you're not impressing me as either." <English>

Kellyn glances back at Amaya and nods. "Yes," she confirms. She looks to Shou and nods also. "They were. The paperwork must have gotten jumbled in the system somewhere. I remember seeing the amnesty report cross my desk." Kellyn looks back to Weylin, now. "Lieutenant Commander, please see to it the reports get updated. I'll have the amnesty report pulled up for your perusal." She steps forward, getting between Weylin and Rodney herself, with James in tow, who winds up between them as well. "The charges were supposed to have been expunged from all of the people charged in the incident the charges refer to. Please see to it that all individuals involved have their records cleared with amnesties. You are dismissed, Lieutenant Commander." She glances over to Rodney, and raises a brow. Darling? She looks back to Weylin. <English>

"All I know is that a core group of fine officers were left behind and the owners, whoever they were, rode that shark into the sun. I met them at the miners guild and before thet left that day I heard them refer to the ship by two names. Damn fools thought a few simulated tripc and thev could sundive. It didn't work. They and the ship, whatever the name is dead. Out ocf courtesy, on a trip to the core we beought the crew that had been left the news. Later with no ship or employment, thet signed with us. To my knowledge there id no current warrant against any of them." <English>

With quiet and graceful swift movements, Amaya takes a step back. After all, she is with medical and this way out of her league. She is now more on the edge of the gathering. The word Darling has her raising an eyebrow. Those eyes of hers move from one person to the next. Quietly she shifts her weight, with each movement she makes the faint smell of honeysuckles can be smelled. <English>

Weylin's head shakes slightly as he looks towards the man, "As a suspect in the attack and someone who may attempt to gain retribution and go after the victims you do not until such a time as charges are brought forth in court. Or your lawyer requests the particulars of the case. Now sir you have about 10 seconds to remove your weapons belt before I put a stun round in your chest, I have given every curtousey to the owner of this vessel only to have you throw it back in my face." His hand withdrawing his walther from the holster as his index finger slips into the trigger guard. His attention then turns towards Kellyn as he shakes his head, "The Amnesty was in regards to their charges of Piracy, The victims of the attack that he is accused of doing with others from that crew still deserve justice and compensation for what they were put through. If he is innocent as he says he is then there should be no problem with him coming with me to have them identify them. Ma'am I respect your position but I also have to respect the need for closure for those people that were attacked. They still seek their justice and if we simply give a clean slate to all crimes commited without first insuring that those accused were not part of it then people loose faith in us and our ability to do our jobs Ma'am.." A soft sigh leaving him before he continues, "This attack involved endangering the life of children and a pregenant woman.. If we allow things to just be dusted aside what message do we send those citizens who put their trust in us to protect them from crime..to keep their families and loved ones safe." Its then his attention turns to Shou, "Tell me Miss, If you had children..What would you want us to do if their lifes were endangered? Would you have us ignore it..or would you have us pursue it? Their Amnesty was in regards to Piracy and Treason, the other charges were not listed in their amnesty agreement wether because of an oversight or not is not mine to decide. But I will see that those families on the ship attacked do see some form of justice and get compensated for their mental and physical duress. As I have said, if the man did not attack those people then he should have no worries and not be so..reluctant to come in so they may either Identify him or clear him as their attacker." <English>

Kellyn narrows her eyes at the other Alliance officer here. "Lieutenant Commander. Did I not just give you an order?" Her voice is perfectly calm. Though, she does pause, and raises up a hand again, this time specifically to Weylin. "Lieutenant Commander, new order. Silence, please." She keeps her eyes on him for a few seconds, then turns to Rodney. "Mister Kilbride. Would you be willing to accompany me to stand in a lineup for these witnesses Lieutenant Commander Cadman is referring to? You won't be disarmed save for when you go into the lineup itself. Are you willing?" She glances at Weylin. "Will that satisfy you, Lieutenant Commander?" <English>

Rodney's face has begun to change, as this fellow continues, and gone was the mostly irreverant look from earlier, as his weathered skin begins to turn red, clearly angry. "I have -never- endangered a child, you bloody cretin. And, I was not present at those events, which in and of itself, tells me that I could not have assaulted anyone during the so-called Shadowdancer incident." He's not taking off his guns, and isn't as if the guy has a shot, as it is...with his ADMIRAL and her security officer standing between the pair. The Admiral breaking in, likely saved Kilbride from doing something very foolish, and takes a deep breath, while she talks to the other Alliance officer, muttering his breath, as if taking part in a calming exercise..."Serenity now. Serenity now. Serenity bloody now." Another few deep breaths are taken, until he finds himself the subject of a question. "I'd be perfectly willing to come and stand in a lineup, Admiral, since I was literally not present at the events, I've got no concern. And because you seem like a right proper officer, I couldn't refuse." A pause...and he looks toward Weylin for a moment..."So long as I don't have to sit downwind of that bloke, during the trip." Face is still red, but it is fading, for the moment. <English>

"With your permission Admiral, I would like to contact Rhonwen, the late Dukes lawyer and ask that she represent Rodney. Could you tell me where and when he will be taken so I can pass her the news. He has been a name on an old roster to me but others of the crew felt he would return and join us. Evev as such I feel I must give him the benefit of legal representation." <English>

Movement and guns have Amaya taking a step forward again. Her weight is on the balls of her feet. But, despite the shift in her weight and her taking a step forward, she unlike Rodney looks calm. She finally interjects. "Please Rodney do not add fuel to the flames." Her voice is gentle and quiet as the look on her face and her words are laced with an accent. Her eyes drift to Shou as she speaks and then back to the others in the room. <English>

Well, it was still seeming that things were winding down for the most part. Akiana glances between everyone and then shakes her head some. She wanted to just turn and walk away, go tend to her other duties and such, but she also felt it silly to ask - especially with the alliance aboard the ship. So, she remained where she was, and decidedly kept her mouth shut. Was probably better that way anyhow. <English> page : nods. Going to work on that tomorrow, if I see her on Gemini Sector, or facebook. Long distance to River: Rodney nods. Going to work on that tomorrow, if I see her on Gemini Sector, or facebook. Weylin's eyes focus upon Kellyn a few moments watching her closely, "Never mind Ma'am, I will return with an official order from your superiors for his apprehension as you seem to have personal feelings on this matter given..this man's choice of name for you. Ma'am..but with all do respect you and I both know that we can not be involved in such things where there may be a conflict of Intrest. It is why I am here right now and not out finding the perpetrators of the recent terrorist attacks." It is then that the words of Rodeny are heard, His jaw setting tightly as he returns his gaze to the man. His brows narrowing as they furrowed while he studied the man. "Next time I come and see you, It will be in the normal fashion of those in my..particular area of expertise. And such curtosies as I have extended you here today..will not be given. Just thought you might like to know." A smile slowly spreading across his lips as he then glances towards Shou, "That won't be needed I assure you. Especially given the conflict of intrest it would be for Row given her nomination as DA and the personal..relations with your crew as it seems there may be." With that he begins to back towards the hatchway slowly. His eyes drifting over the group before he takes another good hard long look at Rodney. <English>

Kellyn nods to Rodney, and looks to Weylin for his answer. She pauses and glances to Shou. "I have no problem with that," she says. "Today. Noon." She pauses for a moment. "Wait. Rhonwen. O'Niel-McCoy? She can't, if it's the same Rhonwen. She's an Alliance DA. She'd be the prosecuting attorney, not the defense attorney, in this case. You can contact her if you wish, though. She may be able to recommend another lawyer." She glances back to Amaya, and holds out her hand, as though telling the woman to stop. "Amaya, stay back, please." She looks back to Weylin and narrows her eyes again. "I have no personal feelings for this man, I assure you. If you had half a brain you'd know that." She shakes her head. "And I assure you, Lieutenant Commander, that not only will you not be getting an official order from my superiors, you will be be reprimanded. Dismissed." Said as Weylin turns to leave. She turns to look to Rodney and offers her hand to him. "Admiral Kellyn Connolley, at your service. Pleasure to met you. Would that it were under more pleasant circumstances." <English>

"And, during the War, I ate bastards like you for breakfast, lad. And if you'd like to remove that uniform, and make it personal, we could have grass before breakfast, and settle whatever animosity you bear for me, right now." Rodney's response is actually calm, and more than a hair amused, now. He's gotten under this fellow's skin, and he knows it. "I've never met this woman before in my bloody life, and I said she was 'darling'...I did not call her Darling. There is a disctint fucking difference." Arms cross over his chest, and his own eyes narrow at Weylin. "I've agreed to cooperate with an investigation, and will be cleared of the charges by your witnesses. So, I -fail- to see why you are suffering such extreme bloody -butthurt- over what appears to be a clerical error." Hmph. A snort, and he turns to smile at Kellyn, accepting her hand..."Rodney Kilbride, ma'am. It is a pleasure, all things considered. I apologize for my language, but I just can't oblige stiff-necked bastards that can't find more personable ways to do business. A fellow returns from nursng a sick mum, to find himself being arrested. A lovely bloody welcome." And the list of people to speak with continues, as the former crewman smiles at Shou. "Much obliged for your concern, ma'am. I do appreciate it, and am officially turning myself over to you, until I am able to speak with the Guildmaster, about the other matter, and get things straightened out." <English>

"From what little I have heard of Rodney's reputation, he is likely to call anything of the female gender 'Darlin' no matter if thay are wearing skin, fur, or feathers," Shou chuckles. "Calling anyone that wants to help him unfit is srtetching things. I don't like to see folks end up in a star-chamber. Fair interogation is different." She looks at Kell, "I'll see what I can do about a lawyer." As rodney turns himself over to Shou she rests her hand on his shoulder, "You are bound by law to accompany me to the Bounty Hunter's Guild to answere charges of absenting yourself with out permission." <English>

Growing quiet again, Amaya takes a step back as she was signaled to stop. Eyes watch and though there are a hundred things running through her head, she allows them to remain there. Her eyes continue to watch, but there is a flash of anger in them, and that anger burns brightly. But she is quiet, for now. <English>

Akiana blinks a little at the next words from Weylin. Was that a threat? Did the Alliance officer who had been given direct orders from his obviously superior officer not only seem to disregard said orders but then threaten one of the men on the crew she was with. Though it seems in the next beat, the Admiral was controlling matters well enough. However, that would not put Akiana at any less ease with what she just heard. Still, she holds her tongue, far be it from her to step in and wind up in any sort of trouble on any side of this matter. A smirk and she glances to Shou while draping an arm over Rodney's closer shoulder since she's standing just near enough to do so, "Being bound by law doesn't sound like a good thing. We got a brig I can throw him into?" However, the security officer grins as best she can with a busted lip and looks to Rodney with a shrug. "Sorry. Bad humor but I couldn't resist. You're the one who turned yourself in to our boss? I suppose?" Maybe /that/ could be her purpose. Trying to lighten the mood! Sort of. <English>

Weylin's jaw tightens further at the words from Kellyn, "Ma'am, As respectfully as possible I say this. It is not I who need to be reprimanded over this incident. You were aboard this ship when I came aboard and expect me to believe that there is no conflict of Intrest? I am sure that others would disagree and see the reason behind viewing it as such. Especially given your attempts to coddle this man who is wanted.." though its the words from Rodney that truley grab his attention. His eyes quickly moving to look into the mans as he moves to step around Shou bringing his form to stand right infront of the man, His face inches from the other mans as he growls out. "Listen to me you fucking browncoated little piece of shit, You lost the fucking war..I am fairly certain history shows that your side was the side who walked with their tails between their gorram legs, Like little bitches going back to cry to momma on Saint Albans and every other god forsaken rock that spawned such trash. We..we won..We beat you like a bunch of redheaded step children and sent you packing..And as for eating people like me for breakfast..I highly doubt that..you know nothing about me. And if you want to go ahead and brawl we can, Because now..your under arrest for threatening an Alliance Officer, And disorderly conduct. Now place your hands behind your head and turn around. And now..I am gonna frog march your ass off this ship for all the world to see. Your words and actions have caused any professional courtesy to dry up. And like the war, Your gonna be treated like a good lil bitch in that jail cell..Got one picked out even with some nice big gentleman who don't take kindly to browncoats but sure as hell like the old fella's..apparently they make more passionate lovers in those cellblocks." The words seething from him like venom as his eyes remain focused upon the other mans. The words of everyone else forgotten or going unnoticed as the man had brought about that burning hatred and anger that had been brewing just beneath the surface. Every fiber in his being seeming to restrain him from just attacking Rodney outright. <English>

And just as quickly as that, the sound of a gun cocking can be heard. Kellyn's security guard, James, steps forward and levers his gun at Weylin's head. It's a big gun, too. Desert Eagle, from the looks of things. "I believe the Admiral gave you a direct order. Sir. Now get off this gorram ship before I put a bullet in your brain. Sir." Kellyn blinks at James, but doesn't say a word to him. No, she turns to Weylin and steps to the side of James. "All due respect, Lieutenant Commander. You are being unreasonable. I would suggest you go, now, before I arrest you myself." <English>

"We lost. Not quite so badly as you seem to believe, but then, everyone likes to live in the past." A glance to the Admiral..."I do believe that everyone in this room heard me make an -offer- to see you on the field of honour, befitting a man who has had his good name slandered. That, the last I checked, was in no way a threat." The Scotsman doesn't back down from the fellow lingering in his face, but merely stares right back at him, a very shit-eating grin forming on his lips. "Ciao, Lurch. I suspect you'll be doing your own bending over and touching your toes in the stockage, if you don't abide a superior officer's orders. Have a nice time, and do feel free to take up my challenge, if you ever decide that honour is important to you, in the least." Alas, Kia's attempt at humour is lost on Rod, as a gun has left leather, and a climax appears to be at hand. <English>

Due to her binding Rodney by law, Shou is still pretty much in the middle of things at the moment as the seemingly maddened Alliance officer pushes things to the point of disobeying direct orders and being threatening enough that Kelly secutity chief has a gun to his head. Her hand rests on a strap of her weapons harness and her eyes are hard, "Don't let hin rattle your cage, Rodney. let him dig his own hole and pull in in on top of himself." Her eyes never leave Weylin. The man seems do have gone stark staring mad, even for an Alliance." <English>

"That was uncalled for Lieutenant Commander and Lieutenant. This escalated enough, anger is getting the better of you Lieutenant Commander." There is an Edge to Amaya's voice as she takes that step forward. Her words are low and soft and very controlled, and just barely. She is now next to Kellyn. Her eyes are narrowed into slits and every muscle in her body is taught and ready for action, what type of action is yet to be seen. Hidden in her obi Amaya takes out her PDA. She holds it in her hand as she turns it on. "Teitoku, watashi no ushiro ni shutoku shimasu." <English>

The hand of the arm draped over Rodney's shoulder flexes into a fist and back again. Akiana still remains quiet and shakes her head, shifting to side step once away from Rodney. Because guns were drawn - that of the other alliance officer that accompanied the Admiral - and Kia didn't want to be in any sort of harms way. Quiet, yet fuming, she remains tight lipped. <English> order

Weylin's brow inclines slightly as the gun is placed to his head, ab almost relaxed expression taking shape, His eyes never once leaving Rodney though. "If that is an official challenge, I accept. I will send word soon of what our weapons will be as I am the one challenged. Since we wish to be all honorable and things. I even know the perfect place for such..a duel.." His lips quirking upwards in a smile as he backs away from the man, "Please do not attempt to hide behind others in that matter as well, It is..rather pathetic..Like what your side considered a valliant effort in war." A wink given to the man as his smile turns playful as he continues to back past the group and away from them heading towards the Ramp. His attention returning to the Admiral, "I am sorry ma'am if you feel I have been disrespectful, but by appearances there is a conflict of intrest. If you would take a few moments to see how things may seem given your arrival and your association with this ship from an outsiders perspective I am sure how you could see such a thing is possible." <English>

The little Japanese woman's words actually make James blush. He drops the gun and shakes his head. As the gun lowers, the others can see that the gun's safety was never disengaged. He couldn't have shot Weylin if he'd wanted to. And he probably did want to. Kellyn glances to Amaya and shakes her head at whatever the woman had said. She looks back to Weylin. "I assure you, I do not know this man. Never met him before today. Are you going to be ready in two hours so Mister Kilbride can be in your lineup?" <English>

"Do you care to select location, or weapons? That is your choice as the challenged party...not both." A pause, and Rodney tilts his head, waiting for the answer before he can continue in making the arrangements that need to be made. "It is interesting, though. To see you cower to the Admiral, now that you realize her Lieutenant was prepared to splatter your brains on the bulkhead, for acting the fool. Nice to know that everyone can be housebroken." A sweet smile, and arms cross, while he awaits the man's choice of...uh...choices. <English>

"Admiral it is in my medical opinion that the Lieutenant Commander is unfit for duty, I know that I am not a member of the military, but I am a licensed medical practitioner. I think anger, is clouding his judgment. " Amaya manages to get out in cold but calm voice. "As such I would advise the Admiral that she have the Lieutenant Commander put under psychiatric evaluation for at least forty-eight hours, before any challenges can be accepted." Her voice is even but it is cold as ice. "Rodney do not add fuel to the fire or I will have you put under chemical restraints." <English>

Shou has her own ideas about how to see Weylin is convinced to partake of a nice 48 hour leave at the local funny farm. He sounds like he has been reading all the Anti-Alliance propagande and is trying desprately to live up to it. She stands relaxed and ready to react to whatever happens. <English>

Weylin's head gives a small nod to the words from Kellyn, "Things should be in order, Yes.." His words drifting away at the further words from Rodney, "I merly do not find myself concerned with the act of the Lueutenant, He knows as does Kellyn and myself what he did just now could get him executed. But I am not the sort to hold grudges, especially over someone holding a weapon that is still on safety to my head. I have looked at death and been close to it before. After awhile..it looses its novelty..And I believe I will take the choice over weapons..I have my own prefrences..were as to enviroment..I can adapt easily enough.." His words drifting off as he then looks towards Amaya, "Unless you are a board licensed Phsychiatrist your recomendations hold no weight to them. The only ones who may judge me fit or unfit are Pshyciatrists. And I do not believe you fit that Miss. And anger,,well let me ask you something..If someone talks about killing your brothers in arms..those who are in a way the only family you have left..How would you react? Would you smile and just carry on with a happy tone..Or would anger not take hold of you as well?" His brow inching up in question as he studies the woman for a few moments as he continues to make his way towards the hatchway. <English>

Kellyn glances around, and rolls her eyes at Rodney. "You are not helping yourself, Mister Kilbride," she says. James stays discreetly next to Kellyn now. Remaining calm and professional again. Kellyn's eyes go to Amaya and she raises a hand to rub her forehead. "Noted, and disregarded," she says to Amaya and shakes her head. She doesn't say anything further, letting Weylin go. She turns to Shou and considers her for a moment. "He needs to be on Persephone in two hours at the Alliance Federal station there. I will, of course, accompany you there." <English>

"Hang on, there, fella. I select here, and now as the location. Select the weapons, and they will be found easily enough, I wager." Rodney clears his throat, after calling this out to the departing officer. "We will be more than able to squeeze this in, prior to a visit to the Persephone Federal Station, in two hours. I'd prefer remove the personal drama from the situation, before wrapping up the strings on this mis-aimed investigation, Admiral. If you please, that is." A slight, polite smile. He doesn't apologize for his sarcastic tone when dealing with Weylin, mind...but with honour on the path to being satisified, he can leave it by the wayside...if for a moment. <English>

"As the only combatatant here, I may have to stand as Rodney's second," Shou says to Kell softly. "Don't let Weylin off without finding out who his seconds will be and when they will call." She doesn't trust the man as far as she can throew him. <English>

There's a sigh and Akiana takes a step forward, tilting her head one way then the other and glances to Shou. "If you wish, Shou, and would allow. I'd like to accompany Rodney to Persephone." A glance given towards the Admiral and Mister Do as I please not as im told. "You know...just in case. And so that..should anything happen there...it can be reported back to you. Just as a liason of sorts...if I'm wording myself right..." <English>

"Any physician can have a patient or person who they feel is a danger to themselves or others within this society committed to a proper facility for forty-eight hours of observation, for evaluation. Furthermore, a medical officer of the Alliance has the authority to remove any officer or NCO they do not feel is fit for duty. As the Admiral, who is a physician feels that you are fit for duty remain in duty. You win this one and I will keep my peace." Amaya says as she takes a step back and becomes quiet once again. <English>

Weylin stops at the words from Rodney, "Very well, Here and now works. Though allow me a moment to contact someone as my..well.." The words taken away from him as Shou mentions her seconding the man, "My Second that I am in need of their..immediate attention to this matter." His hand reaching down to withdraw his PDA as he sends out a quick message. "As for who will be my second in this matter is Lord Ro Locastra. In the event that I should not be able to continue, He will take my place until the match is considered to be at a draw. And I would ask that the Admiral officiate our duel." His eyes looking to the Kellyn a moment before he looks back to Rodney, "As for our weapons.." His left hand moves behind his head as he withdraws his Katana from its sheath, "Blades..shall be what we use..So that we remain honorable in all ways..." <English>

"I'll be needing one of those fancy swords, then." A glance back at the crew..."Does anyone have one of those fancy swords? I've always been more of a claymore fella, myself." Or a pistoleer, to be honest. Rodney doesn't seem terribly concerned, mind. He's not the sort to get distraught at the outset of a fight, even if he's not exactly familiar with the use of particular weapon. "I'd prefer we operate under the clause that Seconds merely inspect the weapons, and make sure that honour is upheld. Involving Seconds in the actual combat does nothing add further violence, without need. My quarrel is with one man, not this Ro Locastra fellow...nor would I wish to involve my new jailer in danger." <English>

"Hold on a moment," Shou says. "That doesn't sound right at all, Weylin. ' In the event that I should not be able to continue, He will take my place until the match is considered to be at a draw.'? If you are not able to continue then the duel is at an end. S duel is not a relay race." <English>

"Well, if the location and time are here and now, then it's here and now." Kellyn pauses, falling silent for a moment as seconds are chosen. "Very well. I accept the request to officiate." She looks to Shou. "Please clear everyone from this deck and sufficient room for a duel." She pauses and looks to Rodney and Weylin. And then Shou, and nods. "She is correct," she says, looking to Weylin. "The second is to fight if you cannot, for some reason. Not to continue the duel if you are bested." <English>

Weylin's brow inches upwards, "Ahh I thought we were doing it by older rules of combat where the seconds took the stage of combat after the primaries were removed from combat. But then again, I have not dueled anyone before. Killed yes..But dueled..no." His shoulders rolling in a shrug, "I am sure Lord Locastra will be here soon enough to inspect weapons and other such fine noble things." His eyes looking back to Rodney, "Claymores lack the finese and quick strike capabilities that finer blade swords allow, Besides..Katana's..are a thing of great honor." His shoulders rolling in a shrug as he looks to the blade and holds it to the light to check its edge. His attention deviating a moment to look to Kellyn giving a small nod. "And what exactly shall this duel be to? Until one or the other submits or..?" <English>

"Since it's been requested that the cargo bay be cleared, does that give me permission to go ahead and do a couple rounds on the grounds while this..." Akiana pauses as if trying to figure out a way to put the words delicately. "Duel." Though she wanted to call it something else. "Goes on? My offer to accompany Rodney to Persephone stands...if it's still needed..." She shrugs and glances around while shoving her hands into the pockets of her blue jeans.

Shou mutters into the icomm, calling for a good serviceable katane to be brought from the weapons locker. A short time later one arives and she inspects it closely before handing it off to Rodney. <English>

"Until both combatants accept that honour has been satisified has always been my preferred ending...I don't kill over breaches of etiquette." Eyes shift to Weylin, and then to Kellyn, just to see what they have to say to that proposal for the completion of the duel. Rodney shrugs out of his duster, and sling it over a convenient object, before moving toward the middle of the cargo bay...inspecting the blade that is offered, and then taking a few testing cuts through the air with it. "I appreciate it, ma'am. This will be quite a story...how many Hunters stand as seconds to their quarry, with an Alliance Admiral standing judge?" A flash of a smile, and the Scotsman looks toward Akiana..."I'd appreciate you coming, lass. If nothing else." <English>

A pair of short women in turbans and dark wraps stepped into the bay from the ramp, both carrying rifles of an older make and model. Once inside they suddenly paused and took a step to either side of the ramp as Ro stepped into the bay, dressed in a bright green silk yukata over all-black clothing. His Khopesh swords were side-slung at his right and on the end of a green bandolier. His hands moved and cupped their pommels as he moved in closer to the group in attendance, nodding once to Shou and Shin, looking past the Alliance Admiral and her bodyguard and the others until he came to Weylin and a slight smirk appeared across his lips. "Commander Cadman." Ro said quaintly before he looked to Shou and Shin. "I am to take it that there is to be some manner of duel...here?" He paused and considered. "What exactly are the terms?"

<English>

Kellyn shakes her head. "I've never heard of other rules for this sort of thing. Maybe Lord Locastra will know." She pauses. "As for the extent of the duel? Considering the investigation you're running, and that Mister Kilbride is a suspect in that investigation, I would prefer it to be until one or the other of you submits or falls unconcious." She glances to Akiana and nods. "Yes." The various 'group' is standing about midpoint in the cargo bay. Kellyn with her bodyguard, coat jacket still resting over her arm. She glances over at Rodney and nods her agreement. <English>

Weylin's head gives a small nod to Rodney as he begins to examine the weight of the sword once more, allowing his wrist to turn this way and that way before the approach of Ro and his guards is heard, His form turning slowly to the man as he gives a bow of his head, "Lord Locastra, I am pleased that you came. And yes, there is to be a duel. And I have agreed to the terms of it being until both combatants accept that honor has been satisisfied." His hand moving to offer the katana up hilt first to Ro before he glances over his shoulder towards Kellyn giving a nod, "Those terms are acceptable to me, Unconcious or submitting.. I believe..that would satisfy..the honor of such a duel." A glance is given to Rodney, "Is that..agreeable? Submission or unconciousness?" <English>

"I accept those terms, yes." Rodney inspects the newest arrival to this circus, and damn...if his outfit isn't fitting to just that label! "Now, if the Sultan, and my Exec both agree that things seem to be well in order, I suspect we should begin, so as to make our appointment with that witness lineup, on Persephone." An easy smile, and he settles back, waiting for things to get under way, sword held before him in what amounts to a layman's guard. His earlier fury has melted away, with this impending dust-up. <English>

As Ro boards the ship, Shou gives the man a slight bow of greeting and steps over. "Thank you for coming so promptly to help settle this affair of honor. I will let you confer with your primary and then we can speak if necessary." With that she steps back over to Rodney and speaks softly to the man, experienced eyes looking him over as she does so. <English>

"Swords" Ro said to Kellyn and his eyes lit up and his smirk opened slightly and became a menacing smile. "Well..now, that would depend. If said duel was to be first blood only, then the first one to cut the other would be considered the winner. Otherwise, it can become quite messy and quite..fatal, you see." His smile turned back into a smirk as he takes the Katana and studies it. He holds it out and turns it and studies the hilt and angles. He turns it and offers the weapon back to Weylin, holding it out. "Excellent quality, but...you already knew that." Ro said. When Weylin takes the sword back, Ro said, more to the benefit of the group than to the two combatants. "Steel against steel. No grappling. No sidearms. No words. You speak your will in the language of steel or you speak not at all. Now...gentlemen..." He walked across the bay and pointed to one spot. "One here." He pointed to the other side of his position. "One there." He placed his hands back on the pommels of the swords and waited for the two men. <English> The arrival of the noble and his entourage draws Kellyn's attention, and she offers them each a nod, and Ro himself a bow of respect. She nods to his words. She does interject one comment. "No speaking unless it's to forfeit." She steps off to the side where she can watch the proceedings. <English>

Weylin takes the sword back and gives another bow of his head to Ro, "Indeed sir, And thank for you for thinking so as well." His eyes looking to the blade with an almost love and admiration as he takes it back before moving over to the position indicated, His body going into a combative stance as his sword is brought out infront of him. His eyes focused upon Rodney as he gets ready for the commencing of the duel. "Steel against steel..It always has such a lovely sound to it.." With that he falls silent, the man going almost too calm for such an event. The smile not once fading from his lips. <English>

A smile to Shou, and Rodney sketches a half-salute with his blade, and makes way to the spot indicated for him, to begin the festivities. A nod is given across to Weylin, if just to indicate that it is 'go time', and the Scotsman begins to move from side to side, eyeing his opponent. The tip of his blade weaving slightly, from side to side, as he weighs his options. His eyes remain focused, as he steps forward, delivering a quick cut toward the man's left side, followed by a second, clumsier slice toward his right. He's clearly an experienced fighter, but his attacks are not polished, and it is exceptionally clear: He is no swordsman. <English>

Ro doesn't move from his position as the two swordsmen-for-a-day go at it. His fingers rubbed on the pommels of his swords as he watched the action with paitence. <English>

Weylin's form curls against the feeling of the blade slicing through his left side, His features shifting slightly though the smile still remains there faintly upon his lips, His left hand bringing the blade up to arc it towards the man's stomach first in an attempt to attack him before he switches the direction on the backswing to bring the blade toward the inside of the man's elbow holding his own weapon.. His body shifting its weight easily as he moves around to try and gain distance from the man after his attack. His right hand drifting down to touch against his side feeling the blood staining his fingertips. <English>

A showing of teeth, as his first blow misses, and his second finds Weylin, and Rodney looks like he's think...Shit, swords ain't hard. And he looks that way for the .3 seconds it takes to parry the first of his opponent's strikes, only to feel the bite of steel in the inside of his arm. Blood is pouring freely down the wounded appendage now, and his the Scotsman's face tightens with a grimace of pain. It keeps him moving backward for a moment, attempting to reassess the situation, before apparently deciding to go with what he knows...crazy berserker attacks. The grey-haired would-be swordsman leaps forward, bringing his blade down overhead toward the Alliance officer's right shoulder, and the following up with a feeble swipe toward the man, as he dances backward. <English> The sounds of munching filled the air in a section of the cargo bay as a hungry Koala sat perched atop of a MULE, eating from a satchel that contained some poor crewmates missing lunch. <English>

Weylin grimaces as he feels the blade cutting into his shoulder, his hand falling away from his side as he felt the metal biting into his flesh and bone. A gasp sounding out in suprise and pain as he feels the injury added to his collection of past memories and battles. His eyes showing a certain intrigue with the older scottsman as he fought him, His left hand moving out to bring the blade up attempting to angle it towards the man's hip before drawing back and arcing the blade in a lower left to upper right slash aimed for the man's chest. <English>

A hiss of pain, as the blade bites into Rod's chest, tearing through his -favourite- shirt. You hear that, man? Who's going to be Mustache Ride operator around this joint, now? It's RUINED. He staggers a few steps to the right, almost falling, with his wounded arm pinwheeling painfully, as he staggers to regain balance. The weevil wobbles but won't fall down, instead, Kilbride continues throw himself headlong at the more experienced bladesman, first with a thrust(with a katana? Fool.), and then with a desperate backhand cut at the man's sword arm. So, he's not exactly speaking to the man, but there is an odd keening coming from his throat, in the exertion. How very Scottish Berserker of him. What a sterotype. <English>

Weylin's form moves back as he hears that hiss of pain, apparently wanting to give the man a moment or two to compose himself, and there would be his mistake. The man rather unprepared for the sudden thrust as no one in their right mind thrusts with a Katana, His body folding slightly into the blow to his side as he growls out something rather gutteral, the hidding of his tone gone now as he allows pain to show its ugly head for a moment. His body slipping back as he catches the blow to his arm wielding the weapon, his favorite jacket and nice shirt now thouroughly ruined and rather hard to repair causing his brow to furrow as he gives that look made so popular in Pulp fiction, it was that Ohh really now mother fucker look. His form moving in quick as he makes two quick slashes towards the scotsman angling for the legs this time. <English>

An old man in a wheelchair rolled closer to the fight, the flag of Scotland tired around a long pole at the back of the seat with a pinwheel spinning at the top. "Damn you, boy!" The old man stuttered and spat. "Get'm Rodney! Do it! Do it...for your people!" He swung his clenched fists in the air. "Give'm the one-two!" <English>

Rodney manages to leap awkwardly to the left, and avoid the strikes at his legs, though it sends him stumbling toward Weylin, with about as much grace a drunk giraffe on roller skates. Splatters of blood hit the deck, as his left arm continues to flail, sending spatter toward any of the gathered group that stray too close. But, he's still game, and despite the strange looking dance that Kilbride is doing with gravity, he attacks. One fairly neat strike(relative to his graceless balance issues) is made toward the man's left side, while on the follow-through slice, he aims for the man's sword-hand. <English>

Weylin's growls as he feels the slice to his left side yet again, His eyes showing that distant look of someone who may have found in their eyes atleast a worthy opponent for such a glorious thing as the battle of blade against blade. The smile returning in an instant to his lips though it holds that pained edge that grows more pronounced feeling the katana slicing through the flesh of his hand, His form moving forwards suddenly as the blade is brought up aimed from the man's stem to sternum before he pivots and shifts his weight to attempt to catch the man's knee with the blade. <English>

There is a choke of pain that comes free of Rodney's throat, as the blade bites deeply into his right knee, and it catches the gunhand off-guard, sending him twisting toward the deck, and once again, toward the opponent. His blade, red droplets flinging clear, continue to seek the flesh of Weylin, though. A beleaguered cut is made at the man's lower body, before finishing with a direct, second thrust at his center mass. It's a good thing no one ever told Rod not to thrust with a Katana. He ends his offensive with his wounded knee down on the deck, but back still straight, and blade held upright, waiting for the other man's response. <English>

His second strike might not have connected, but the damage done by the first is enough to send Rodney to both knees, now. With his abdomen open, and pouring blood on the deck, and himself. His sword is dropped without a second thought, and the Scotsman looks toward Weylin for a moment, and then back up to Kellyn. "I believe, that honour has been bloody well satisified, Admiral." A pause ,and his hands fall to his stomach wounded, trying to staunch the bleeding..."I believe that man required a Doctor." <English>

As the men finally fight to a standstill, Shou hits the icomm, calling the trauma team and thenmoves in to try to help in the moments before they will arrive. <English

Ro looks to Rodney and Weylin and says plainly. "I hereby declare that this matter...is resolved." He undoes one of the long sashes from somewhere inside of his green coat, folded it and knelt down to give it to Rodney. "Now," Ro began. "If your insurance company asks, tell them you were running around with scissors in your hands. I'll sign the paperwork." He winked. <English>

Kellyn watches calmly, expression neutral. It's a doctor's face, one that doesn't flinch from what's happening. Not that it's fun to watch, mind. James, standing beside her, shows more expression. Flinching and grimacing every time a sword strikes home. When it's over, Kellyn nods. "I concur." Coming onto the deck now from outside, the medical staff with stretchers from Kellyn's ship, she having radioed them during the duel. Quickly, both men are loaded up onto the stretchers. Kellyn looks to Shou. "The facility on my ship is more advanced than the one here," she says. She nods to the team, and they move both men out and over to her ship. "Shou, please send your trauma team to help when they arrive. And Amaya." <English>

A slight smile, as Rodney accepts the sash, eyes it...and offers Ro a wink in return, slow and pained as it may be. "I'll keep that in miind. It was just a -really- big pair of scissors, man." He then closes his eyes, and falls back to the deck, allowing whatever doctors that arrive to do their work, and pump him fulll of morphine and such. He's an old enough soldier to enjoy the perks of massive trauma. <English>

The plainclothes Alliance officer's form remains still, his breathing labored as the weapon falls from his hand. The one thing that had been kept between the hilt and his hand finally rolling from his grasp. A small golden band in the style of a wedding ring matching the tanline of his left hand rolling across the bloody floor just a foot before finally growing still as the man and his belongings are gathered up and carried off by Kellyn's team. <English>

As soon as they are down Amaya is moving forward, thank god she is wearing the color navy blue today. Shou beat her to the icom call. It does not take long for her team to arrive. She looks over at Kellyn and nods. <English>
