Physical Description

Covis is tall and of strong build at 6'2" and 210 lbs. He has healthy dark wavy hair which is often unkept and sports a 5 o'clock shadow for every occassion. Steel grey eyes reflect an inner calm born of a lifetime of experiences and he is quick to smile, whether the victor or the vanquished. His carriage is that of one trained deeply in the art of dealing with people and his movement betrays a subtle watchfulness of all that transpires around him. He is handsome, and his voice is a smooth baritone, often putting the listener at ease when he isn't lashing out with his sharp tongue and trademark roguish wit. There is the faint air of cologne which seems to follow him.
Wardrobe

Covis wears a loose fitting ivory shirt and black trousers with red piping down the pantleg leading to hard soled, worn black leather boots. There is no holster at his hip nor does he appear to carry any type of weapon. Off ship he often wears a black leather motorcycle racing jacket with orange accents or a long drab wool top coat for more vile weather conditions. For funerals he has been known to appear in an off white suit.

Covis grew up in a remote area of Santo. Childhood was relatively normal but as he became a teen, gangs had begun to infiltrate society. He soon learned how to defend himself and deal with shady types. His mother was a quiet, caring, nurturing woman, unlike his 'stepfather' who was an overbearing abusive drunk. His stepfather, the bastard, probably killed himself just to try and frame Covis. Ever since he learned his real father had abandoned him and his mother at the age of eleven Covis began to develop a mistrust of people. 'People and things are never as they seem' he decided then and there. The misguided youth also found himself seeking happiness from any narcotic he could find.
Covis was always 'quick' as a kid, and his motor skills and speed have only improved over time. Life on Santo hardened him, making him quick to react, ready for any situation. No one gets the drop on Covis nor catches him off guard, or so the 'story' goes. Between the age of 14 and 22 Covis stole many mules and raced them at local circuits. During these years of continious racing not to mention all the transport runs he was doing, his piloting skills and reactions where honed to another level. 'A sixth sense' some claim.
Acquaintances of Covis describe him as a self centered rogue who's in it for "Me Myself and I" He is loyal to select friends and most of his contacts but when his little secret rears its ugly head, all bets can be off. Anyone who knows Covis, knows to keep him 'happy'. Covis is a fast talking, quick draw Pilot who mistrusts just about everyone but who doesnt rush into 'situations' when he can help it. He prefers to spy, survey, study and otherwise scheme rather then take rash action. He wants to earn a reputation as 'the pilot' who can get the job done when others can't. To own his own ship and select his own jobs. But that won't be enough, he wants more..
