   Alliance Station - Courtyard -- Persephone(#2032RnM^) =>Persephone<=
==============================================================================

        Thick, heavy concrete and armored composite walls surround this heavily fortified installation on all sides, the only break in the outer protective wall the small gate that leads to the City Center. A series of steel platforms and steps lead up to the ramparts, and elevated foring positions that look over Persephone. The central area is open, and paved with lines to demark safety areas and proper avenues of travel. Several hundred square yards of open tarmac provide sufficient area for a phalanx of armoured vehicles to stage inside the walls that rise up around the Federal Station, creating a Landing Zone of sorts.

        Along the periphery of the walls are emplaced cannons that point out from the fortification, while in the centre of the courtyard is the armoured structure of a fixed surface-to-air missile emplacement. Buildings within the fortifications are low, and heavily constructed to withstand prolonged bombardment. To the right of the exterior gate is the Administration building, while the motorpool occupies the building directly in front of the heavy entrance. Between the motor pool and the outer wall is a third building identified as a Barracks that is attached to the admin building, with the external access door chained shut with reinforced titanium links. There seems to be relatively little construction here for the activity, suggesting that at least part of the base is below ground.

        OOC Note: This Complex has been destroyed. There is nothing here. For Licensing, feel free to use the License Box inside the Administration Building, as it's the only one on grid.

==============================================================================

The wreckage here is rather horrendous. It's not as bad as what happened on Shinbone, but it's still bad. Alliance rescue crews sift through the wreckage. Equipment has moved in by now, and is also digging carefully through the wreckage. Here and there, another body gets pulled out. Some of them are obviously recognized by the rescue workers pulling them out. With every body comes a moment of pause, a tilt of the head, and a look of anger cast toward the sky. Then? They all go back to digging. <English>

The news went wild about it, at least enough to have caught Teanna's attention, not to mention the loud explosion while she was on the planet, and now she's here, armed, but that is her norm. Eyes scan the wreckage from the outskirts of the wasteland that is the Chellaigh Fed Station. Her usual demeanor remains stoic, even as she steps closer. A hand reaches out against a charred piece of rubble and she starts to climb over it to find the Alliance rescue crew working at it still fishing out bodies. Her mouth briefly opens but she closes it shut again and starts to wander forward without a word to start helping, eyes flicking to the nearest Fed that notices her. <English>

Wild enough to have been playing the video footage pretty well non stop for more than twenty-four hours, now. Now there are three videos being circulated. There's a Fed with a clipboard that seems to be overseeing things, walking around to each body as it's found, and then checking off something on the clipboard he's holding. He's tall, fit, with dark blonde hair and beard, and pale blue eyes. As it happens, the Feds do notice Teanna, but the just nod to her, offering a grim sort of thanks for the help. None of them interfere with her. Even the man who seems to be leading this search and rescue gives her a nod, and if there's no smile there, at least it's a welcoming of sorts. <English>

The Book Hospital would have sent paramedics to help treating the wounded and bringing the serious cases over to the hospital, where doctors and nurses have taken care of them. After the initial storm has died down, Sushmita comes to take a look at things herself. <English>

Teanna just continues whatever it is she's doing, which is currently helping those that are digging around in the rubble to pull out the bodies, but Tea is also keeping an eye out for other things, perhaps more interested in finding clues within the wreckage. Any glances, however grim seem to be glossed over for now, and whenever she finds a body she just sort of remains in her own emotionless shell. It's like she's used to seeing bodies. She does cough when a pile of smoke wails towards her way. <English>

The Book Hospital had indeed sent ambulances and EMTs and paramedics and the like to help. They'd saved a great many lives, in point of fact. Along with the other hospitals in the area, of course. It's not a pretty picture, alas. Very grim and dark. At least the ash and smoke and dust that had filled the air before seem to have settled back to the ground. Except over the site itself, where search and rescue crews are digging, and where machinery is used to carefully move the bigger objects. The offical keeps walking about, to this body, to that body. Finally, to one Teanna has pulled out. He studies the body, then marks it on his list. "Another casulty," he says with disgust. "The missing list grows shorter with every body we find." He seems to be talking mostly to himself, and continues muttering half under his breath as he turns away. The part of the crew hauling bodies away arrives to remove the poor soul Teanna had found. <English>

Sushmita spots the official busybody and walks over towards him and Teanna, casting a brief glance towards the victim that is pretty much definitely dead. "Have any survivors been found in the last hours?", she asks curiously, "I know chances to find someone else alive are diminishing by the hour. Does anyone have an idea of the number of casualties? We've had another dead this morning who didn't make it through the night but the others should be able to pull through..." <English>

Teanna's brow furrows a bit, maybe the only faint clue as to emotion that she shows in this instant, watching as the official turns around and Sushmita comes in looking for answers. Instead of piling the Official on with questions she just nodded to him and resumed her work, muttering as she digs, "Tyen-sah duh UH-muo..." Her head lifts and she spots another alliance rescue worker and moves over to help them instead, "Any clue as to what did this? Reaverite fanatics or...?" She stops herself short from saying much else, grabbing anything that needs to be moved, tossed away and dug again. She should've worn gloves for this! <English>

The blonde guy stops at the doctor's question and shakes his head. "No survivors. Only survivors so far were those outside this complex. We have hopes for there being at least /somebody/ in the bunker beneath the barracks." That's where the heavy equipment is currently excavating, where the barracks used to be. The going is slow. He glances back at Teanna. "Didn't you used to work here?" Maybe he's seen her before. "We have no official word on who did this yet, no." He'd wandered to the same worker Teanna had. For the moment, at least. Until another body is uncovered. <English>

CJ comes upon the scene, just walking on in like she was coming into the offices to do business. She only pauses to gawk because of the extensiveness of the damage, but it isn't a look of horror she wears. No, it's a look that closer approaches admiration. With a low whistle and a suppressed smile she heads into the destruction to find someone to pair up with and help with the digging. <English>

Sushmita nods and steps aside to avoid being in everyone's way. She does take her Comm though to notify the hospital and ask them to send another ambulance, just in case they do find survivors in the bunker that will need help quickly. <English>

Teanna glances up at the blonde official again and nods, standing up to wipe down her dusty hands again, "I did for a brief period of time." Her eyes glance over towards Sushmita for a short moment and then back at the blonde, "I'm investigating a possible connection of an attack that happened against my crew and Companion guest around the same time this place was blown to pieces." <English>

The Official notes CJ's entrance, and the look that approaches admiration, and looks to his clipboard before noting something down. He doesn't say anything to her, though, nor does he approach her. His eyes go back to Teanna and he nods. "You might know some of the people on this list," he says, moving the clipboard so she can see it. The list is... long. There are about twenty-five names marked out so far. <English>

Through the city streets comes Emilian, the man having the robo-pooch Dioji /himself/ walking by his side as he makes his way towards the Alliance Station. In his jacket peeking from one of the pockets another form can be seen this one at least not robotic at all as the silvered head of Mulani peeks up and out. When he nears the station Emilian slows looking over the damage. His eyes lowering to look towards Dioji, "Well think you might be able to help these folks. No back talk.. and no mules.. NO MULES." The words are spoken as if the man were talking with a wag of his finger to an actual animal rather than one constructed of metal and Cho knows what else.

CJ is pretty sure she doesn't know anyone here other than Teanna, and she leaves her be since she's occupied with 'authorities.' It's all basic grunt labor from her field of view, anyways, right down to piling the body parts for identification and removal. <English>

Sushmita doesn't do grunt labor, but she does start walking around to check on the volunteers and professional helpers to see how they are coping and if any need some medical support or just some words of support to cheer them up. She is soon back on her comm to talk to someone at the hospital about something or other. <English>

The Official glances up as he sees the electronic dog thing and its... handler? Back to Teanna. He nods to her clarification of CJ but doesn't comment on that. "This is the missing list. The names marked off are dead. Those remaining are still in there, somewhere," he says, half turning and gesturing to the rubble around them. He's called away as another body is pulled from the wreckage. And another name is marked off of the list. The workers and volunteers that are checked on seem to be okay for the most part. Horrified, and starting to get a little dehydrated, but okay. <English>

Emilian comes to the gates of the station, His eyes surveying the damage as he quickly types into a bracer mounted computer. The device sending signals to Dioji and showing a display of what the dog sees. "Alright Dioji, Go to work.." The words are spoken simply and no sooner do they slip from Emilian's lips and Dioji is off scrambling towards the rubble to pick his way into that destruction. Emilian steps in closer to where others work to clear rubble and care to the wounded who are pulled out, A few familiar faces noted by the man as he offers up a faint smile. His left hand reaches into his pocket to remove the small form of Mulani perching her on his shoulder, "Now if only we had a camera and lil helmet for you Mulani.." His head giving a quick shake as returns his attention to Dioji doing well what he was made for. <English>

Teanna just nods to the worker, having noticed some of the things on his clipboard she has a fair idea of what to expect. Her hands slide to her comms device as she slips into the background, ushering a few words low for her comms right before she goes back to work to find bodies and clues around. <English>

Sushmita hands out a few pills to the volunteers and points them towards the ambulance where small water bottles are being handed out for those close to dehydration. This done she returns to her earlier vantage point and blinks a little when she sees Emilian and his robo-pooches. She waits a little while longer to see if they are being of any use in finding a survivor. <English>

CJ bends her head slightly at something coming over the earpiece she wears that drags a snort of amusement out of her. She mutters something in reply as she gets back to helping someone move a chunk of concrete without explaining just what it was. <English>

Dioji doesn't take long to find a safe point of entrance into the rubble, The prototype dissapearing into the dust and broken stone of the building. Emilian's attention turns back to the display mounted on his left wrist on some sort of bracer. The man typing in a few commands that are sent to the dog. When eyes are felt on him his gaze lifts and he looks around only to spot the familiar sight of Sushmita, A small smile is offered up though its short lived as his bracer begins to beep, "We got one.. not sure if they are alive.. heat signature is faint.." His fingers go to work typing into the bracer, The man himself begining to move carefully amongst the edge of the rubble. CJ is noticed as well and given a slight dip of Emilian's head in greeting as he continues to send and recieve data from Dioji. <English>

The words from Emilian catches the attention of several workers who were getting drinks in a momentary break. That, though, has them moving off after the dog to pull the body out. When they get out of the wreckage of the building, the body is just that. A body. It looks to have been crushed. The official sighs and makes a note of who it was on his clipboard. <English>

Seeing that the new body is dead too, Sushmita deflates and shakes her head quietly to herself. Having done what she had come to do, she quietly makes her way back to the hospital. <English>

CJ is just another body hopping-to. Without verbal direction from the workers or volunteers, she just follows the ebb and flow of the work and almost doesn't even notice that Teanna has left the scene. <English>

Emilian curses as he sees the broken and dead body brought away from the rubble, The man making his way towards where they had pulled the body. Carefully picking his way over to try and not disturb anything, "Hopefully Dioji might be able to find you some living people down there.." The words spoken to no one in particular as he sets another string of commands. The man there for the duration to assist with Dioji and in finding of the lost <English>
