Thomas Moore (2473-)	Father	Hera	Brown hair, pale blue eyes, average height. A farmer, whose calloused hands bear the marks of a lifetime of hard work.
Katy Moore (2474-)	Mother	Hera	Blond hair, green eyes. A small but matronly woman, very motherly with a warm easy smile, quick wit and sense of humor. Terrible cook.
Thomas Moore, Jr. (2491-2511)	Brother	Hera	Eldest sibling, and the only one old enough to have participated in the U-War. He was a Browncoat, and died at Serenity Valley. Though his body lies there, somewhere, in one of the many graves with blank headstones, it's a headstone at a cemetery not far from their homestead where the Moores gather when they want to pay their respects. Never married, no children.
Eric Moore (4/24/2493-)	Brother	Hera	Resembles their father greatly in appearance. Married childhood sweetheart (Betty) & has a handful of children from age 2 to 18. Youngest is Lizzie, who came to stay with Aunt Carmen & Uncle Kallahan for a couple of weeks while Eric & Betty went on a trip they won in early 2529. Eldest is Isabelle (Izzie), who came to stay with Carmen & Kal for the summer in 2530 before going off to college to study veterinary medicine.
Dean Moore (2494-)	Brother	Hera	With his mother's blonde hair, his father's blue eyes and the milkman's (or so they joke) height, Dean is markedly taller than his siblings or parents. He is jovial, good-natured, and quite the prankster (at least where his little sister is concerned). The closest in age to Carmen, the two share something of a special bond. He is quite handsome and was quite the ladies' man in his youth. However, after being left at the altar by the woman that finally won his heart he turned into something of a perpetual bachelor until a heavy nudge from Kallahan pointed him in a direction he never expected... now he's in love with Carmen's childhood friend, Sarah, and trying to convince her to marry him. The couple have a baby girl named Ashley, born in the spring of 2530.

Sarah Goodwin	Childhood Friend	Hera	Sarah's family owns the General Store of the town closest to the Moore Farmstead on Hera. She is a tall thin woman with brown hair and brown eyes. She and Carmen were friends throughout their childhood and kept in touch (if somewhat distantly) after Carmen left Hera to go to college. Sarah has been mooning over Dean Moore for a long time, but he was oblivious to her interest until Kallahan gave him a nudge. The two have been dating since April 2528 and have a baby daughter named Ashley.
Sandra Church (aka Sandie)	College Friend	Osiris	Sandra is a tall slender black woman with black hair and brown eyes so dark they are nearly black too. She is a bartender at the Double Nile Source, a bar and restaurant on Osiris that is popular with the legal community. Carmen started going there while she was in college and continued going there afterward, so Sandra has a lot of stories she could tell about Carmen's youthful follies if she were so inclined. She and Clancy hit it off when they met at Carmen's wedding, and the pair have been dating off and on since then. Nothing exclusive as of yet.

Security Team

James Clancy	Tall, sandy blonde hair & blue eyes. Ex-military, spec-ops. Originally part of a covert team assigned as security detail for Carmen when she was an Attorney General candidate and the candidates were being targeted by terrorists. Kallahan & Carmen liked him so much that when they found out his term of enlistment was coming up for renewal they offered him a hefty sum to leave the military and come work for them permanently as their chief of security. He is extremely loyal to his employers and has become one of the family. He takes his job seriously and is extremely competent as their security chief. He has an easygoing--if somewhat sarcastic--personality. Has been dating Sandra Church off and on since Oct 2528. Nothing exclusive as of yet.
Kristov Revjak (Kris)	Tall, muscular, long straight platinum blond hair & goatee. Russian origin, speaks with a heavy accent. Clancy's right hand man.

Marcus Rendow	Has pilot's license, can fly transports & other small crafts.
Nathan Gregory
Rianna Sanyu	Russian origin. Dark auburn hair, as short as Carmen but much more martial. A lot of sass in a tiny package.
Marianne Murphy	One of the original members of the security team put together by Clancy and Kallahan, Murphy has had a long and colorful history with the Shamarias. She became close friends with Carmen, but the friendship and employment ended due to (coerced) involvement in a kidnapping plot in 2528. Almost two years later, Murphy resurfaced and came to Kallahan's rescue, helping him to escape from Jenice Walker (see below) in 2530. 2 months spent in Alliance custody after helping Kal to escape the madwoman resulted in the loss of her job and apartment on Bernadette along with much of her savings thanks to fines levied on her for trespassing and failure to report a crime. After some consideration, the Shamaria's decided it was poor repayment for the service she had done them and offered her a position with them once more. She's still picking up the pieces, but at least she's back among friends.

Name	Details
Jenice Walker (deceased)	Formerly part of the Shamarias' security team. Developed a crush on Kal that became an obsession. She eventually cracked and ended up kidnapping him, trying to convince him that he had been in a coma and Carmen had left him. Kal didn't believe her, and after he escaped (with another woman, no less) Jenice committed suicide.
Martin Nichols	The manager of New Hope Animal Shelter on Persephone. Hispanic ancestry, but tall w/ dark hair, dark eyes, tanned skin. Calloused hands, working man background rather than professional administrator. Cool head in a crisis. Smoker.
