  • Courtyard
    • Characteristics: stone, ringed at edges with shallow water, many pillars and trees that provide some cover. Doors leading out are of solid wood. Infirmary is here.
    • Vulnerabilities: Open roof. Lack of sufficient guard and surveillance at main gate.
    • Recommendations: Roving patrol uses courtyard as hub. Stage secure weapons locker here, hidden from obvious view and locked to security and residents. See if all interior doors can be keyed to secure to thumbprint all at once to contain intruders in courtyard.
  • Landing Pad
    • Characteristics: Small landing pad enclosed by walls. Open air without cover for ships. Warehouses with single doors, wide, MULE storage. Heavily re-enforced door to courtyard, wide.
    • Vulnerabilities: Air attack.
    • Recommendations: Assign two guards with heavy weaponry and intruder alert on wall to guard against unauthorized landings or attack from air.
  • Office
    • Characteristics: Solid walls, only one bay window that doesn't open. Doors to courtyard solid, door to laboratory even more so with good locking system.
    • Vulnerabilities: Few.
    • Recommendations: Review the locking system on the door to courtyard and standardize it on the system for the other doors in zones. Include mode for this door to limit access to very very few.
  • Laboratory
    • Characteristics: Enclosed space, no windows. Potential HAZMAT storage.
    • Vulnerabilities: HAZMAT risks if penetrated.
    • Recommendations: Ask Carmichael to review safety procedures and installation of heptafluoropropane fire suppression system and oxygen masks in the lab.
  • Reception Room
    • Characteristics: Large with stone fountain in center, surrounded by water. Huge glass ceiling, stone pillars. Multiple exits.
    • Vulnerabilities: Glass ceiling does not seem to be re-enforced. All doors but for one out to courtyard look not up to standard.
    • Recommendations: Possible to add bars or metal lattice to re-enforce glass ceiling on outside? Station guards here at doors, two on bedroom and one each on guestrooms and kitchen. Review interior doors, do not recommend replacing locking system at this time.
  • Kitchens & Greenhouse
    • Characteristics: Lot of metal and cooking things, open door to glass-enclosed greenhouse.
    • Vulnerabilities: Entrance to compound from insecure greenhouse.
    • Recommendations: Replace door to greenhouse and put in same locking zone as main entrance. Install alarm system on greenhouse glass for glass breaking.
  • Master Bedroom
    • Characteristics: Solid, has bay window/balcony with ten foot drop to ground.
    • Vulnerabilities: Balcony, possible line of sight. Single safe egress for VIP occupant. Room is at farthest point from either evac points and Safe Haven.
    • Recommendations: Alarm door to balcony, install bulletproof glass barrier on balcony. Install personal alarm to silently notify security, switches placed at bed, door and bathroom. Stage small safe haven kit of communications equipment, weaponry, ammo, some medicine and mask in room. Install view hole in door, upgrade locks on interior.
  • Loft
    • Characteristics: Long room 20-30 feet from ground level, three out of four walls made of glass. No lockable door down to reception.
    • Vulnerabilities: Glass walls, no cover from snipers.
    • Recommendations: Bulletproof the glass if possible. See about bulletproof panels to block social areas from line of sight outside. Add to roving patrol. Alarm glass, even if bulletproof.
  • Bubastis Entrance
    • Characteristics: residential street outside entrance is patrolled by Alliance police and covered by cameras.
    • Vulnerabilities: Few.
    • Recommendations: See MOA with Alliance police in section on Courtyard. Install one camera of our own on door, review security system on door. Key system in interior side to staff and residents for quick evac.
  • Evacuation
    • Characteristics: tight compound allows for quick egress either to the landing pad or out to protected street and to the nearby main spaceport. The master bedroom also provides for a small balcony.
    • Vulnerabilities: Two paths depend on ships, with the majority of company ships located at the private landing pad. No known MOA with Alliance police at street for assistance.
    • Recommendations: Develop resources at main spaceport for evac there in non-company ship. Negotiate MOA with Alliance police for protection on street when needed.
  • Safe Haven
    • What: An interior room to be used to secure staff and residents in the case that evacuation is too dangerous or impossible. It should be able to be impenetrable for up to four hours by conventional means up to rocket fire and support all staff and residents until help has arrived (3 days minimum).
    • Where: Recommend the Office be the safe haven.
    • Supplies: Water, rations for ten people for four days. Medicine and supplies to treat shock and simple wounds. Weaponry and ammo, masks, booze, morphine, cigarettes. Cots and simple bedding.
    • Work Needed: Bathroom installed. Door[1] to courtyard re-enforced to hold against attack for four hours minimum. Wall, floor and ceiling reviewed and re-enforced up to same strength as door. Install backup generator.
  • Personnel Resources
    • Currently: Five security guards of uneven training. Two have military training.
    • Goals: twelve full-time guards total, schedule time for training of same by Rendolin. Funding for backup information resources: see additional quote.
