McGuire frowns, "What class is the Harbinger?" <English>

A bit carefully, Willow makes her way up to the cockpit of the ship, coming there from the medbay. She has a bandage at one of her temples, covering a wound she earned whilst the ship was semi-crashing to the planet's surface. Stepping in, she pauses, leaning against the door frame, and a small smile touches at the corners of her lips. "The Harbinger is named after its class. It is a new battleship that the Alliance was building," she explains, inclining her head towards him. <English>

McGuire nods, "You think it was compromised?" He asks matter-of-factly. <English>

For some reason Fao has been very stand offish the past few days. Dry tone that is strait to the point with no room for chit chat. Stays in his room most the time, made one trip out and said the truth, 'Had to register the Jia and Niao.' Still not sure if his disguise worked enough to get the ships back on the books, but figured he'd try. What a thousand five hundred credits anyway, right? He sits back in the seat, letting Kyo do the driving. He's more focused on the sensors and the story they tell. <English>

The redheaded woman looks down at the floor of the ship for a moment, and she softly clears her throat. Lifting her right hand, she brushes a bit of hair from her face. "I am sorry, for what happened to your ship, Captain. We did what could be done to prevent it," Willow says softly, a gentle note to her voice. "The communications are still out, so... I have no way of accessing the blueprints for the battleship," she adds. <English>

McGuire nods and says nothing, still a bit grumpily over the past events. <English>

Willow raises an eyebrow slightly at his reaction, and she gives a soft sigh. She crosses her arms at her chest, and remains leaning against the framework of the ship. "It's not irreparable, but... it's something that requires parts. I was planning on making a foray out to see what I might be able to find in the way of parts, see if we might be able to get a line on a new engine to replace the one that's lost," she says softly. <English>

McGuire sighs, the thought of his ship being on the planet were the battle is taking place and no way to assist aside from ground troops and one small hummingbird. He sighs again, ducking under the console to make sure the pressure valves are off so he can best rewire the hydraulics around that hole in his boat. A grumbling noise comes from him as he tightens the system to the off position. His tone is dry and a touch monotone, "Closest ship yard is under attack at this moment. We wont be space worthy, but I think I can get her off the ground for short maneuvers. Between Baby Bird and getting Jia to make a few hops here and there, we might live through this." Pulling himself out from the console, he turns to the hall and the repairs he needs to get started on. McGuire yells back, "I need a compression plate if we're going to attempt a lift off." He really doesn't sound happy. <English>

"It is. But there's more than one way of fixing a ship, and more than one set of people capable of such," Willow points out, one of her eyebrows quirking up a touch. "If we can get the parts, we can make the ship space worthy. Where we are right now is safe, as of yet. The radar on the ship is tuned as far out as what my skills are able to make it," she offers, lifting a hand to brush a bit of hair from her face. "I'll head out. I'll see what I can find," she offers, giving a nod to him. Shifting her weight, she steps away from the doorway, to turn away and start to head out of the ship. <English>

McGuire furrows his brow, no one has been lost yet in this mission. Sure they are banged up and in need of serious repair, but no lives were lost. He stops in his tracks and turns to Willow, concern riddled through his grease ridden face, "You be careful out there, if you're not back in three hours, I'm coming to look for you." He reaches into his shirt and pulls out a pendent that has the word Jia on it. He holds it out, "This this with you just in case. It's a tracker. Just in case." <English>

Pausing, Willow turns to look to him, studying him. She steps over to him to accept the pendant from him, taking a moment to look it over. She brushes the pad of her thumb over it, and then she gives a nod before looping it over her neck. "Thank you. I'll keep it on me. Though you'd better give me more than just three hours. It's a bit of a walk to reach someone," she comments, a smile touching at the corners of her lips. "Don't worry, I'll be careful. I promise," she adds, giving a nod to him. <English>

Kyoshiro comes in then "Ill come with you... we can take the Jiro." <English>

McGuire says, "Sundown is in three hours. Don't make me worry. Mibu has my frequency if you need anything. I'll keep the girls calm and see what I can do about salvaging what I can from the engines." He sighs again. His ship has only been this badly beaten up once before and that way before all the modifications where applied. For some reason, be it this war going on around them or the sheer damage the ship has taken, this feels worse. <English>
