The call went out for help by McGuire. The Alliance will allow private craft down to the surface with Kyo Mibu's word. Getting on Boros isn't the hard part. The mountain range campsite of the Romani army and the Jia is north of the space port city of Boros. Orders are given out in person, to keep radio channels clear and targets secure. McGuire greets Feria at the path leading into the camp.

McGuire looks a touch older then the last time Feria saw him. This war is weighing heavy on him. He says in his even tone, "Feria, so good to see you. I understand you want to be a part of this and are looking for a mission?" His greeting is warm and he spreads his arms out for a hug only if she steps into his embrace. <English>

There were plenty of calls to arms and aid that Feria could ignore. However, to see a call by someone she holds near and dear was something that she simply could not put past herself. So, when she's on the path to the camp and she spies her friend there's a warmth of smile and happiness tinged with the situational depression that pales over her features and she does, indeed, embrace her friend. "McGuire. It's wonderful to see you as well. I do wish to be a part of this, I'm not terribly skilled in combat, but it seemed like there might be a mission that requires.... a certain set of skills. Skills that I do possess." She smiles then. <English>

McGuire holds her to him, not wanting to let go, and yet not wanting it to seem weird. "If you mean sneaking into a power plant to dissable it, than yes." He smiles, letting her go so he can step back to look her over more carefully. His tone is pleased, "There is a power plant for the city's power grid. Commander Mibu needs a quiet enterance to shut it down for the next few missions to work proper. We've blue prints and specs on the place. You up for the task?" <English>

Feria takes a breath, trying to hold back the clear emotions that are evident all over her face from being in his prescence again. Their's was never, of course, a romantic relationship. She more looked to him like family - which was something she never truly had in her life. Either way, when finally released, she steps back as well and listens before giving a nod of her head. "I am. Absolutely." <English>

McGuire smiles, "Glad to hear it Feria. Come with me." He takes her hand and walks her to the command tent. This set up is top of the line with holo table for maps and the like, computer consoles all around, each keeping tasks related to the conflict at hand. Fao leans over the table and says, "Bring up the Power Plant." The table flashes once and from the flat surface comes a full 3D image of the plant and surrounding area. "The goal is inside the plant, the main switch in the basement." He points to an area outside the plant, "The plant was taken over by Legion first thing when they landed, so it's reenforced to a point. According to our scans, the majority of the forces stick to the first floor lobby and lounge, so you're going to have to come in through the roof. Vent exausts come out through there and are of a large size. We believe someone can shimmy through the vents to the basement and bypass the guards. Once in the maintenance room, hit the switch and back out the same way. Air unit will be waiting for you on stealth mode to take you out. Do you have electric lockpicks as well as regular picks? The security may be heavy, but it can be picked." He grins, looking at her as he speaks. <English>

Feria follows Fao into the command tent, looking it over and then to where he brings up the power plant itself. Listening as he explains and then she smirks. "Aye, both types, cause I do like keeping my options open." Saying this much before she looks over to McGuire. "So no detail on the roof or anything like that? Seems almost too easy to be able to slip in through the vents and back out again." Not that she minded easy, but sometimes easy didn't work out the way you hope it would. <English>

McGuire says, "We want the power out for fifteen seconds. That's all the time we need. The building will be hit a few days from now, but it's important that this mission be done first. The roof looks like this." He brings up the 3D imager of the power plant. "Three flues that lead into the building. This one will take you to the basement. Because of the boiler, it requires strong venting. There will be one fan at the base, but it shouldn't impead your climb down or up." He traces the third vent line down two floors, to the side one room, then down to the basement. He pulls the image to the boiler room. "From there, go through that door." He shows you the door, pulling the next room into view. "The switch is there." Pointing right at it. "Pull the switch down, head out the door and lock it, then out through the vent and out." <English>

Feria nods, pulling out her own portable data pad and she taps in her own style of notes as he explains just what she was supposed to do and how she could go about doing it. A breath taken and then she steps back and gives a nod of her head. "Down the third by two floors, then shoots one room over to the side, to go down the middle, and wind up in the boiler room...then hop over to the switch in the basement, lock up and leave?" Making sure she got the basic instructions down at least. "I do this now, how does it give you a fifteen second window for later?" <English>

McGuire stands up strait, "Because our units will be set for the window you provide. The key to this is pure blackout for the city, which is what you will be doing for us. The stealth craft is ready for you. Do you need anything before you go?" His tone is kind and gentle, as is his expression looking at her. <English>

Feria nods and then ah's and chuckles. "Alright. I gotcha. Uhm..no, I think I'm good." Though she does pause and then leans in to give McGuire a kiss on each cheek. "Thanks McG. Be safe, ok?" As if she needed to tell him that! Never the less, all ready, she'd go towards the stealth craft to begin her mission. <English>

McGuire tosses a thumb back to the Jia, "I'm with the girls and wont move until they do. That's my lot in all this. I keep missions up to date and troopes informed. As it stands, we're staying on top, but Legion is really dug in." He turns back to the map, shrinking it to show the city. The most Southern area shows Romani with edges around the whole city. Areas within the city show downed anti-aircraft stations, as well as targets of military use. "Dug in tight." He looks to her, "Keep looking up and be safe Feria." <English>

The hovercraft goes in dark in this midnight hour. The approach over the city shows the lights below in central areas only. The rest of the city is blacked out in the darkness of the night. The engines hum softly inside the craft, it's dim red light in stealth mod blanketting the interier. The pilot tilts his head to the back and says, "Twenty seconds to drop off." The one in the back with Feria has the harness on her and travel line secured. He suggests, "When you hit the roof, snap this buckle and it'll reliese. The craft will sense the departure and looks for a safe landing area to await your return." He's a young Romani, bold features and strong build, much like Fao. The floor hatch unlocks. <English>

Feria is trying hard not to show any kind of nerves while they make it to the drop point. Her attention on the Romani man who's instructing her on what to do when she makes it to the roof and she nods her head. "Understood." As she floor opens, she pauses a moment, takes a breath and then drops through the floor, rapelling down onto the roof of the power plant and once her feet make contact, she does as instructed and snaps the buckle so it releases, leaving her to make way to that third pillar so she could begin to scale it. <English>

The shaft is wide enough to fit, it's dusty walls making the smooth metal slightly slippery. Every five feet is a connecting ledge where it's bolted together. The downward tunnel goes farther down once it reaches two floors down, as well as jutting off to the side deeper into the building. By the time this area is reach, dust dirt covers Feria. <English>

Two floors down, and she has to sort of wince at every moment there's a groaned strain from the shaft she was climbing down. Biting her tongue so she didn't wind up shushing herself with an echo that could be heard. None the less, she manages to make it to the downward vent, and crouches in that little side room to try and dust a bit of herself off - holding her breath as she does so as to breathe in the dust as little as possible. Now, it was thru this side room and then down to the boiler, right? Shifting to see if she'd have to pick thru this vent also. <English>

The downward shaft goes down one floor to the basement. The vent cover looks easy enough to open. The fan is below the vent cover. A thin lip to suppor her to remove the cover. Either by force with a swift kick, or undoing the screws to swing it open, the vent opens into the boiler room. The sound of two men talking is heard coming from somewhere in the room. They speak galic in calm tones. Through the vent cover, the room looks empty. The voices are faint, but there. <English>

"Ah, shit..." Feria whispers to herself, hearing the sounds of people speaking. Though she recognized the language they were speaking, and if things went south, she knew what she could use in her favor. Sort of. None the less, she takes the screws out so she could open the vent and then slides herself through before landing on the floor below. Stepping forward, she draws out her lock picks, keeping one ear out for the conversational men, and then begins working on the door. A slight curse as the first attempt fails, and she pauses briefly to make sure no alarms were going to go before she tries to pop the lock the second time, holding her breath until the door clicks. <English>

The latch gives and the door opens. Darkness in the room is dim with the flashing lights of the consoles. The wall to the left is where the main switch is. The voice in the boiler room speak of sections that the Master wants off. They talk of which boiler needs to be turned off to accomidate this actions. The voices begin to get louder as if getting closer. The control room is quiet aside from the hum of the place. <English>

Feria listens to those voices, and then takes note about how they were coming closer. A soft grunt from her before she turns to move to the wall on the left, counting to three in her head and then she reaches and flips the switch. Moving back to the door, she listens again for those voices, perhaps making sure they either move away or get distracted long enough so she could slip out and make her exit. <English>

The flashing lights of the console go dark, leaving the whole building pitch black. The voices stop, gasps of concern, then stumbling in the darkness. <English>

Feria had counted the steps, and she knew the direction she had come from. The only new factor were the two that were now fumbling thru the hallway. She also had her bionic eye, which would throw off her depth perception a little, but it did make for being able to see in the dark a bit better. What else was the head engineer and pilot going to use such a thing for should a ship go dark in the middle of space? <English>

The two men floundering in the dark are seven feet from the door to the control room. They seems to be trying to head that way. The emergency lights begin to hum into life. There is the open vent ten feet away. Ten seconds have passed. <English>

Feria pauses long enough to grab her lock pick set from the door piece, and she makes sure to lock the door behind her. A breath and she takes advantage of the pulse from the emergency lights to move towards the vent. Her pace is swift, and she makes sure to keep an eye out for the fumblers heading her way. It was going to be a close call, and in a moment of desperation to get out she wonders if she could dive for the hole back into the vents. <English>

The lights flicker once, then off. The two men do not seem to see the passing figure in the dark. The distance to the vent is short, diving would make noise if the landing is hard. The lights flicker once more, twice before it's black again. Three more seconds. <English>

"Oh sod it.." Diving would be too risky, she could harm herself, and the men seemed to have missed her between the pulses of light. She finds the vent and slides inside, pulling the cover back on with her and from there, moves to make her way back up the vent. <English>

The tunnel is a leg spread, hands stretched out, to get the body to move upward. The side tunnel shows where she came in the first time, the trail of dust removed. This passage makes no noise, as most of the guards are asleep, and those awake wait for the emergency lights to come on. Up again to the top, one slip half way up is recovered and the top vent cover remains open. The sound of the hovercraft can barely be heard. The craft down eighteen feet from the vent. It hovers over the surface, the pilot knowing that the weight of the craft is to much for the roof. The city around is in complete darkness, well past the fifteen seconds needed. <English>

Feria manages to push herself out the top of the pillar, replacing the vent cover there as well and then she slides down back to the roof. Looking for the harness while glancing over the pitch black city and she grins. "Eat shit, Legion." This much as she prepares to be hoisted away. <English>

The last buckel sends a signal to the pilot and up they go. As the wench brings up Feria, the dark city below begins to come back to life. Parts of the street lights flicker back on, a few buildings inner lights come back on. The central area flickers and brightens as the lights come back on. Once aboard, the craft flies off for the darker areas and back up to the mountain. <English>
