Log_Characters::Zank, Faoite McGuire, Kyoshiro, Abbey, Amendiel, The White Ones, Legion, Jia

Kyoshiro had taken his return to grab some much needed rest after their successful hunt. As promised though the radio specialist of the Jiro unit was posted on the now working ships comms scanning for an active signal. There was nothing for a long while. Night brought another light show in the sky though this one was far off and much briefer. As the battle fizzled out a long fireball shot slowly across the sky. A shot down ship? Debris? Hard to tell it laded far off in the distance. Though that's when the comm officer picked something up. Old Morse code in the low band. A frequency that the third division uses. Line of sight instructions to a comm satellite to get a call out. <English>

McGuire got the call that something is coming through from off world. Fao runs to the Command Center where the comm officer is, "Play it back. What does it say?" He knows Morse code, having used it to cuss Rodney out in the black with his running lights, but news of this sort has him excited to know something is out there. He steps up to the console, looking at where the signal is coming from. <English>

The comm officer looks to Fao and plays back the message. "They somehow got a Sat in orbit. Its coordinates to point our antenna at. Encryption code and frequency..." <English>

McGuire doesn't need to write it down as he forms the words in his head. The coordinates are set and Fao says to the officer, "Send this. Jia on Boros, all hands alive. Surrounded by Legion who is still trying to get a foot hold. Now is the time to attack. Gather your forces." He pauses, too much signal. "Scratch that. Send this. Jia survived on Boros. Surrounded, send help. Now is the time to attack." He could do better, but his mind is four hundred different directions. "Don't dwell on the comms, sending and talking. Keep it in small bursts. We can still be found if we linger to long with a signal. I just hope they are monitoring." He steps back away from the comm station. He wants so bad to send out a 'verse alert, but he knows that would mean curtain death for him and his crew. He turns to leave, to go find Amen. Positive news he so desperately needed. Someone is up there, someone is listening. <English>

The comm officer does as told. <English>

With a yawn, Octavia stretches out there on the couch where she was having a nap. Her brow furrows a little bit as she looks over towards Fao, a flicker of curiosity showing in her eyes. Lifting one of her hands, she lightly rubs one of her eyes before moving the blanket off of her and getting up. She crosses over to where Fao is, tilting her head faintly to one side. "What's going on?" she asks, a thoughtful note to her voice. Her voice has a bit of a sleepy sound to it, which isn't overly surprising, given that she just woke up. <English>

McGuire looks to her and his mile a minute mind slows to one focus, her. He smiles and catches his breath, "A signal came out, we've minimal communication now. Sending out message that we're alive and now is the time. I'm looking for Amen to get the girls ready. I don't know how this is going to play out, but we have to be on alert now. When the planet goes under fire, we have to be ready to move." Taking her hand his his, he gently squeezes it to reassure himself and her that this is a good thing. <English>

On the other end of some where Zank cracks his eyes open. He isn't sure how long its been sense the fall from orbit but that not really important right now. Everything hurts. "Well that's a good sign" he mutters. He slowly undoes the crash restraint in the pilots chair of the hornet class ship and takes off his helmet. The smell of burnt metal and and wire rush to meet him. He coughs and spits up phlegm. "Well at least I'm not on fire this time." he says to no one but himself. He sits up looking around the bridge. The view port glass is shattered and missing in some areas and all the screens are dark minus one or two which are full of nothing but alarms and warnings of hull breaches. Zank reads them over out of habit "Yea no shit there's a hull breach." he says again to himself. He flicks through what he can from the screen and frowns. "No Comms...great.." he says.

Zank makes his way over to the small cargo bay. Containers are thrown about there is a rather large hole with alot of dirt showing near the cargo ramp...oh wait..that was the cargo ramp..its gone. "Oh yea..." he says remembering having opened the cargo ramp during the fall to try and create more wind resistance to slow the decent. He searches through the crate until he finds what he stored away before the flight of his life. He opens it. His brown duster. His revolver and belt with assembled tools and a knife, his rifle and small stash of food and water. He completes his wardrobe and sets to seeing what else might be working if anything. <English>

Lifting a hand, she lightly brushes a bit of hair from her face, tucking it away behind one of her ears. "A signal? That's... a good sign, right? I mean... are we certain that it's not a Legion based sort of signal?" she asks, her brow furrowing a little bit. She's a bit worried, and trying to put the pieces together. She gives her head a little shake, then. "How do you mean, when the planet goes under fire?" she asks in a soft tone. She lets him claim her hand, giving his a gentle squeeze in turn, a hint of a smile touching at the corners of her lips. <English>

McGuire says, "We'll soon find out about the signal. Something in orbit from the coordinates given. The message we sent out said to attack now. If they can gather their forces for a major assault, we stand a chance to either get to the Night Angel or get off this rock. I'm for getting to the source and ending this, but Kyo's got something up his sleeve, I'm just not sure yet. At any rate, we need to be on high alert. Either we join the attack, or we are being attacked." Not so comforting, but Fao seems optimistic. <English>

Zank takes some time to look over the ship and find an escape hatch. He gets out on top of the ship to get a look at the surrounding area. Trees and an open field. What might be the outline of a skyline can be seen far in the distance. "That's option B I guess." he says. He looks around and find that a section of the transmitter antenna is still attached by chance. After climbing back into the ship and rummaging for a while he makes his way to the ships bridge. "Worth a try..." he says. After about an hour of messing with wires and a few painful shocks Zank is ready to try a transmission. He hits enter....and the hum of the computer stops....and hes now sitting in total darkness. He sighs...an notices one screen still on to his left. <English>

Octavia listens as he explains, and then she gives a small nod. "Well... it will take time for forces to assemble and to come here," she says softly, a thoughtful tone to her voice. "We will find out when something happens, I suppose," she adds, a hint of a smile touching at the corners of her lips. Then she gives a little shake of her head, giving Fao's hand a gentle squeeze. "We've not been able to sense her, as of yet," she says softly, looking down for a moment before looking back to him. <English>

McGuire nods, "You'd tell me if you had. We going to at least pack up to get the ship ready for flight. Powers back on so we can minimize the gear outside. The traps we set up outside are for ground troops, what we need it aerial surveillance for anything heading our way. That's going to be difficult with all these trees around us. Top of the ship, or even in some of the bigger trees for look outs, but I need to run this all by Mibu. He's got a better handle on the area." He gets to his feet and turns to the coffee pot. Old habits still with him. He wants a cigarette too. These are things he knows he can get right now. His deeper desires he keeps to himself because now is not the time for such things. <English>

Zank sits in the darkness of the bridge along moment. The single screen still working displaying a simple text prompt. He sighs. Now would be great time for Danee to be here. She could pick him up out of a crowded space-dock on the other side of a system if she was listening. Its had been along while sense he even though about focusing that hard. And with no reader abilities of his own he wonders if his 'flare' as it was would even be noticed. He sighs and closes his eyes a second. "Try anything at this point" he mutters. He focuses on a thought like Danee taught him and imagines projecting it out. It simply says 'hello'. He pauses and waits to here a thought enter his head that isn't his. Like Danee used to do...He waits a short while and gets nothing. He laughs at his own idea thinking that it might work. He looks to the text prompt and types a single message that he hopes wont kill whats left of the ships fuses an power lines. "Dead Orbit mission complete." he says as it sends... <English>

A thought might not come to Zank's mind immediately after that 'hello' of his, however... that doesn't mean it wasn't heard. A handful of heartbeats passes, and after that, there's a tentative sort of 'hello?' that whispers in his mind. Someone is out there. Someone was listening. And someone heard him.

Meanwhile, with Fao, Octavia gives a little nod. "Yes, you would know if we had," she says softly, a little smile touching at the corners of her lips. "Aerial surveillance... hmm. Well... can't we build something like a radar antenna that will scan the air for anything on approach?" she asks, not really understanding the mechanics of it. It's not her thing. From the back pocket of her jeans, she withdraws two things which she offers to him -- one: a packet of rolling papers, and two: a tin of tobacco for use with them. <English>

McGuire accepts the tin and papers, pulling his pouch to refill it with tobacco and adding the papers atop. From the open tin, he takes a paper and rolls a quick cigarette. The tin is placed in a galley cupboard along with his coffee ground holder. "Radar, huh? The ship could do that, but it creates a signal that can be traced. No, we need eye's on surveillance. Something we can control without giving our position away." He pours a mug full and takes it in hand. "Like I said, I've got to get with Mibu about all that." Cigarette in his other hand, he moves out of the galley toward the cargo bay so he can step outside to smoke. <English>

Zank almost falls out of his chair in surprise as the timid voice whispers in his head. He looks around the bridge. He really didn't expect a response. He's also no unsure if he can trust anything. Legion has Readers too now that he thinks about it a second. Maybe this was a bad idea. Of course all of this realization comes after hes responded with "Who's there" both out load in the empty bridge and in his head. <English>

Octavia watches him tend to making a cigarette, and a smile touches at the corners of her lips. Then her brow furrows a little bit. "Ah, well... is there something similar to radar that doesn't put out a signal?" she asks, a flicker of curiosity to her voice. She doesn't follow the mechanic sorts of things to really know herself. "I'm sure the pair of you will be able to figure out something," she says softly, a smile coming to her features. She reaches out to fix herself a mug of coffee, and then she follows him out of the galley and towards the cargo bay.

The voice within Zank's mind is quiet for a lingering moment after he's asked his question. "Do you truly think it was a bad idea?" asks the voice, soft spoken and gentle. "No one's given me a name. But they call me Ten." <English>

Zank blinks and after a long moment remembers to raise the old mental shields he was taught. He cautiously reaches out "Who is they?" he asks. <English>

McGuire steps onto the catwalk over the cargo bay, moving towards the spiral staircase. He takes a sip of coffee and smiles, hearing Octavia's foot falls behind him. His heart warms as she moves with him. The stairs clank against his hard soled boots to the bay floor. The hatch still open with the ramp down, he steps out and looks around, lighting his cigarette. "Line of sight is our best bet right now." Scanning the area around and below with a quick glance upward before he steps down the ramp. <English>

"They are them. Who else could they be? I have known them all of my life," answers the voice within Zank's mind. A woman's voice, though it seems to lack the timber and depth of maturity. There's a certain youth to it, it would seem.

Following along after Fao, she can sense that warmth of feeling from him, and a bit of color comes to her cheeks. Lifting her mug, she takes a sip of her coffee, and then she moves lightly towards catching up with him. "Ah, well... I guess the old fashioned way will work, then. Although, hopefully we've got either a good spyglass or a good set of binoculars to be able to see as far as possible," she says softly, a smile touching at the corners of her lips. She follows him out onto the ramp, taking a sip of her coffee as she does. <English>

Zank blinks thinking over all the info he knows about this whole mess. "Names might help?" he pauses "if your Ten ...what do you call the others?" Zank cant believe hes doing this...and that its working. <English>

McGuire steps down the ramp as he says, "We have. Mibu keeps only the best of equipment for his men. I'm sure he's got something we can use." The path takes him to the campsite set up outside the ship when the ship was down under repair. He figures how long it will take to gather up all of this gear. The guards are well out of sight as they should be, so Fao calls out, "Where is Mibu?" <English>

"The others are referred to by number as well. Only few of them have names, but... I am not good with using them and tend still to use the numbers. It is habit," says the voice within Zank's mind. "Why did you call out?"

Lifting her free hand, Octavia brushes a bit of hair from her face, listening as Fao speaks. "I've noticed that he tends to make sure there is only the best of things around," she says, a thoughtful note to her voice. She takes a moment to look towards the guards, though for her part, she's quiet. Though she does move to stand close to Fao. <English>

Zank pauses the walls blocking his thought. "Im looking for some people...my family...You can call me Z" he says. <English>

McGuire pulls two fold out chairs and sets them near the ramp. Offering her a seat, he says, "We'll wait here for him. We're in no hurry at the moment." <English>

"Oh. Very well, Z. And who is your family? I may be able to help you find them," offers the voice. "Although. If you are from Boros, I may not be able to help. I am not native to here."

A bit of color comes to her cheeks, and Octavia makes her way over towards the chair he's unfolded for her. She settles into one of them, tucking one of her feet beneath her, making herself more comfortable. "True enough. There's no harm in waiting, and no hurry for us to be away," she says softly, looking over to him. <English>

McGuire takes a seat beside her and sips at his coffee before taking another drag. "If we weren't hunted, this would be a lovely day. Last nights overhead display of lights was almost beautiful, if I didn't know it was ships exploding and the like. I'm doing my best not to have flashbacks of the great war when I got shot down behind enemy line so long ago." He almost laughs, but those thought are to strong for him to find them funyy. He pulls another deep drag, looking up for a moment. <English>

Zank blinks and thinks a moment "How did you get here?" he asks simply <English>

Kyoshiro is finally up from his long rest. First order of business, get a SITREP on what's going on since he was in la-la-land counting sheep. He hears about the Comm Satellite and Fao's message... "What he wants unarmed ships to come barreling through to come rescue him... I thought he had better tact than that..." He seems a bit grumpy about the wooding Fao gave, "Let me know when the Satellite comes back round again. Try to get a hold of Zank or Ezzy." He is unaware of the communications between one of the girls and Zank at the moment. <English>

Zank is also completely unaware that he's communicating with one of the girls he has a hint but he doesn't want to show his hand. He thinks a moment and reaches into his duster pocket and pulls out his notebook. He looks through it reviewing what he knows about all this. He finds the part about the 12 girls. "Ten..." he says softly and thinks unknowingly. <English>

"Mmm? What do you wish of me?" responds the voice in his head, perhaps with a bit of a tired or sleepy vibe to it. <English>

Kyoshiro looks around the Common Area and shakes his head since he seems to be talking to himself before stepping down to the Cargo Bay to see if he can't find Fao. <English>

Zank jumps again almost falling out of his seat. He keeps forgetting about that. And then realizes hes an idiot in 400 different ways. "Ten are you with the Jia?" <English>

Within his mind, there comes a soft little flurry of a giggle. "Do you think I would be somewhere else?" And in the voice, there is amusement, for the question does amuse her. <English>

Zank smacks himself on the back of the head. "Ten its Zank Lines...Kyo's friend. Is he with you?" He asks "Can you find him and give him a message?" <English>

And again, there comes that little bit of giggling within his mind, her amusement clear in the tone of it. "He may be easy enough to find. What message would you like for me to give to him?" <English>

Zank shakes his head and thinks "Tell him Zank is on Boros, I crashed in a Division ship after getting the sat in Orbit. Im alive..obviously, but there is no way I'm gonna fly this thing." He pauses "If he wants proof its me tell him he couldn't find me or hit me at Serenity Valley to save his life." <English>

Kyoshiro is in the cargo bay now with his hands on his hips, looking around like a dummy. <English>

The girl seems to consider for a moment, for there is silence within Zank's mind on her part of things. "Very well. I will pass the message along to him. It may take a few minutes, but... I will be listening for you," she promises. Then she rouses herself out of the blanket she was burrowed in, rubbing one of her eyes before getting up and starting to hunt about the ship for Kyo. "Uncle Kyoshiro...?" she calls out for him. <English>

Zank nods as if shes in front of him. "Thank you." <English>

Kyoshiro turns as he hears his name, noticing one of the white haired girls seemingly looking for him. "Oh yes... ah..." He knows it wasn't Llew... he knew Llew, even around the others her could pick her out. Abigail too. This was one of the newer ones they had freed only recently. "Yes Darling, ah... you're Cassandra aren't you?" Even if they hadn't given her a name, he tries his best. <English>

Kyoshiro shakes his head squatting down to her level. "What is it, dear, what can I do for you... you hungry?" <English>

The girl tilts her head to one side, blinking as she looks at him. "Ten. I am Ten," she says softly, her brow creasing slightly. Deviations from the normal tend to cause her a bit of a disturbance. Attempts at naming her have proven... challenging. "Zank wanted me to tell you that he's alive. He's on Boros. He crashed. He was in a Division ship that he used to put a sat in orbit. I don't know what that means, but... it's what he wanted me to tell you," she says, giving a nod. "Oh. He also said that you couldn't find him or hit him at Serenity Valley to save your life." <English>

"Well I think I'm guna call you Cassandra or Cassie..." Kyoshiro says with a wink and a chuckle. Of course that smirk on his lips falls as she tells him about Zank. Though the worry passes as she tells him that last part and he grimaces. "Piece of Gusa, old bastard, Browncoat..." He seems to think a moment. "Tell him, if he's got his pendant to activate it and I can take Baby Bird to go get him. Unless you can tell me where he is? Or Abigail..." <English>

The girl frowns a little bit at him, her brow furrowing slightly. "Maybe," she admits, though she doesn't seem convinced in regards to the name. "Although, Cassandra is Vanessa's sister's name," she points out. Then she blinks at him before tilting her head a touch to one side. And then her eyes get a slight distant look to them, her voice no longer aloud for Kyo's benefit but rather spoken in Zank's mind. "He wishes to know if you have a pendant that you can activate? He has a Baby Bird that can find you?" <English>

Zank shakes his head "I do but im not activating it. The beacons were meant for range not encryption...to risky. Can you an your sisters...um whats the word...track me, find me through how were talkin' now?" <English>

"Yes it is... do you not like that name?" Kyo asks her. She must be the picky one of the group. He waits for an answer regarding Zank. <English>

Looking to Kyoshiro, she frowns a little bit. "He is refusing to activate the pendant. Something about the beacons being meant for range and not encryption, that it's too risky. He is... asking about if my sisters and I may be able to find him," she says softly. Her brow furrows a bit more as she holds the connection with Zank whilst at the same time sheltering it from the separate connection she makes with her sisters. Multiple conversations essentially at once. To Zank, she says, "I do not know if this can be done. I need a few minutes." To her sisters, she has an entirely different conversation. And to Kyoshiro, she tilts her head to one side. "I do not know. The only name I have had before is Ten." <English>

"Try it out for Size, Cassie..." Kyoshiro says with a chuckles. He scratches his beard, "I thought he Pendant was encrypted. The only thing that can track it is the specific tracker Fao has. If He only lets it off in short bursts... Or if he's got an Icomm, he can set an encryption on a low band FRQ and we can track him that way... if you girls can't." <English>

Eyes narrow slightly as she looks to Kyoshiro, studying him for a long moment. "Maybe," she says softly, giving him only that much. She is the pickiest one of the lot, and tends to have a strong streak of perfectionism in her. Then there's that distant look once more to her eyes, and she engages once more in the conversation with her sisters. After a long moment, she closes her eyes, her chin ducking a touch. She murmurs faintly, gives a little shake of her head, then draws in a deep breath which she slowly releases. More than one mind creates a map, and then slides it into Kyoshiro's mind -- a single red dot marked upon it. Then the girl opens her eyes, looking to Kyo. "You will find him there," she says softly, giving a faint nod. "We will find you. Shelter yourself. We do not know if dark forces are near you," she offers to Zank. <English>

Kyoshiro chuckles to Ten and smirks, knowing how she is for the most part. He stands though as the image comes to his head, "Tell him I'm coming..." The city that the skyline is part of he saw the name of so it should be easy to translate that image into the maps on the Nav Computer of Baby Bird. He makes sure to lean down and give Ten a kiss to her forehead, and then he's off at a run up the stairs and to the hatch where Baby Bird is park. "Tell Fao where I went! I'll be back soon." It doesn't take long for him to wind up the engines, turn on the stealth and start his low and fast flight to Zank's position. <English>

Zank is already packing up what little he has salvaged as well as his stuff. He finds his way outside the ship via an open hatch and stays outta sight in the trees surrounding the wreck. "Thank you Ten." <English>

Kyoshiro has taken off with Baby Bird to the location Ten gave him via her mind-touch abilities. He's on his way as fast as he can, stealth to the max, and hummingbird to the deck. Zank has taken cover in the tree-line in the field close to his crashed Division Ship. It's only a short moment later that a small hover vehicle is seen moving towards the crash site along a road that seems to lead towards the city skyline. It's 4 Occupants all wear black and are heavily armed and armored.

Meanwhile, back at the Jia it's quiet. Almost too quiet. The sky is a perfect blue and the weather is just perfect. <English>

McGuire remains fully geared as he packs up the outside kitchen they used until the ships systems came back online. The fire has been out all morning and the portable gear is not that hard to tear down. He's not given an order to the Amen or the girls all day. He knows they will do what is right, knowing there situation is that of danger as they do not know where Legion is at this moment. He works to remove a pin that supports the cooking shelf, his thick fingers unable to grasp it tightly enough and he left his tools in the engine room. He whispers Chinese curses that sound more like kids songs than cussing. <English>

Zank is low in the trees his small bag sitting next to the tree. He sits against the tree eyes closed, trying to get a small measure of rest after all that's happened in the last 36 hours or how ever long its been. He takes a couple of deep breaths and starts to feel all the bumps, bruises and possibly twisted ankle now that the adrenaline has worn off. His ears perk up at the sound of anti-gravity thrusters. The oh to familiar sound. Its off in the distance but sounds to be getting closer. Zanks eyes open and he looks around. He takes a breath again and pull the rifle from his shoulder. He charges the bolt and checks his pistol. He throws the bag over his shoulder and starts to move deeper into the woods away from the crash to find a better hide sight. <English>

Quietly, Ten makes her way down the ramp of the ship, pausing there to study Fao with his task of taking the outdoor kitchen down. "Umm. You know that just because the final battle will likely happen here, that it does not mean it will be happening today and now. Yes?" she suggests, studying him for a long moment. Stepping closer to the kitchen, she peeks at the pin he's trying to get, and then she softly clears her throat. "I could pull that for you. If you want," she offers. <English>

McGuire almost jumps as the little one speak. He lets go of the pin and turns to her, "Tennessee. You could give an old man a heart attack as quiet as you are." He pulls a breath, not realizing he said the full name he's love for her to have. Catching his breath, he motions to the area he was working on, "Have at it Ten, I can't get my fingers around that little gorram pin to pull it out enough to get the brace to fold." He crouches down to show her what he was talking about. <English>

The hover-jeep stops and the four Legionaires bail out with their carbines and rifles raised towards the crashed ship. The move around it tactically before one decides to enter the hole which Zank came out of. The men still outside look around for any signs of a track they can find if anyone survived this crash. <English>

Zank isn't far from the crash when the jeep pulls up. He stops and drops near a tree, rifle leveled at the crash site. He scans slowly the sights of the rifle moving across the tree line the outline of the ship just beyond. "Come on ya bastards...waited long enough for a fight with ya..." he says. Revenge and anger lacing his whisper. He drops the bag next to the tree he hides behind and slips his duster off slowly. He starts to set up something...Something with his pack and his duster...and a few sticks <English>

Eyes narrow as she looks to Fao when he makes an attempt at naming her, and she stomps one of her small feet. "I am Ten," she reminds him. It's much how she rebuffed Kyoshiro's efforts to name her. She finishes walking down the ramp, though, her expression clearing as her attention turns to the pin. She lowers to her knees, and then she reaches out to pull the pin out of the brace so that it will fold. "That should do it, I think," she says, turning to him to give a small nod. <English>

McGuire nods, ashamed at his blunder of speaking that name aloud. He sighs and takes the brace in hand to fold it downward to compact the unit for storage. "Thank you Ten." He moves to place the folded piece with the others to go into the bag they belong in. "Would you gather up the plates and silverware and put them in that small bag over there?" He asks of her in a kind tone. He doesn't mention the name blunder, for fear of her wrath again. The shelving unit comes down easier now that the main brace came down with Ten's help. <English>

One of the Legionaires speaks in Arabic to the others, pointing a line with a finger from where he's standing towards the tree line where Zank is now preparing what ever it is he's doing. They spread out a bit and start to move in towards the tree line.

Back at the Jia as Fao is working with Ten to pack up the camp site. A low rumbling can be heard. It sounds close to the ground. From the tree line comes the sound of falling branches and trees, cracking loudly as if something is just pushing them right over without much effort. Suddenly there is a line of explosions from the detonated Clay-mores and IED's they had placed around the perimeter. That rumbling, getting louder, is now clearly the sound of an engine. Just as it might come out of the treeline, the rumbling stops and all is quiet again. The smell of burning forest permeating the air. Moments seem to go by and they feel like hours, but are likely only seconds. BOOM-SHHVVVVVVVVVV-EXPLOSION. One of the pill boxes with two of Kyo's men goes up in a fireball and upchuck of dirt and what ever else was there. That rumbling starts again as an old Alliance Roller reveals it's shelf, it gun now moving to take aim at the 'Jiro. The Churara start to yell then, Legionaires start to poor out of the woods... Five... ten... fifteen... more that you can count during a moment like this. Walking with them is a hooded figure, a disciple of Legion. One of those head honcho's. The Legionaires open fire and so Do Kyo's men. The Jiro starts to move to avoid being targeted. THe roller fires again, impacting the ground just behind the APC. <English>

Zank works quickly and sets up his duster in a fashion that makes it look like a man sitting with a gun and his back turned to them hiding against a tree. Zank slips off with only his rifle ,pistol and small assortment of sharp objects. He slowly moves down and away from the men going wide to find an exposed flank. <English>

McGuire reacts quickly, grabbing Ten in his arms and running her up the ramp to set her down, "Tell the girls to stay on the ship." He demands, turning to leave the ship, un-slinging his rifle and closing the main hatch to lock the girls inside. Pressing the button to raise the ramp, he dashes out onto it in order to be outside. Rifle at the ready, he surveys the area quickly, setting it to mind to do the count and positions of the enemy as they approach. Kyo's men have the fire power, he just has to make sure they don't get this far to take the Jia. Hitting the ground hard off the rising ramp, he rolls under the ship and aims his weapon at those he doesn't know. How did Ten know, she said it would be here. If only she said it would be now. <English>

There is another voice which comes to Fao's voice -- a voice which he is very familiar with, for it is Octavia's voice. "She is particular, Fao. Patience, and perseverence. But mostly patience. She is, even among us, what could be called something of an odd duckling." Ten, meanwhile, gives a warm smile and a nod to Fao before she starts to gather up the plates and silverware and such, placing them all very particularly and neatly within the bag. She seems to have completely put the name blunder behind her as though it hadn't happened at all. Though as she's placing the last spoon into the bag, she pauses with it, her pupils dilating. The spoon is kept held mid-air as this happens. The spoon is even still kept in hand when Fao scoops her up to take her back to the ship. And within Fao's mind, unfolding much like a flower, there comes a layout of sorts -- almost like a sort of radar that shows his position and shows his allies as little blue dots, and shows the Legionaires as red dots. "This is not the final battle. I will help you for as long as I can." <English>

The patrol on Zank trail, still with in eye shot of each other, spread out in a line to search the woods. The trail leads right up to Zank's decoy and the youngest member of the group is the lucky one to stumble upon it. He whispers something in Arabic and raises his rifle to take aim, and then puts a few rounds down range. Looks like they weren't interested in chatting with him. The sound of a distant aircraft and it's afterburners roars in the distance, and gets louder as it heads in Zank's direction. Some of the Legionaires stop and glance back from which the way they came, others look to the youngster who took his shot at the decoy.

Back at the Jia as all hell is breaking loose, the Legionaire strike force has started to take cover as they are now receiving fire from both the Jiro and the Churara platoon that is supporting the Jia. The one person who's not taking cover is that disciple who stalks forwards through the tall grass, a wicked looking pole-arm in his hand. One of the Churara has gotten the RPG and attempts to shoot the Roller but the shot detonates in the ground just before the thing. The Jiro seems to be keeping ahead of the fire from the Roller and supressing the infantry as it was designed to do. <English>

Zank made it to th far edge of the patrolling Legionaries line hiding closely behind a tree as they pass meters from him. He takes a breath and leans out from behind the tree targeting the nearest Soldiers head. Its a easy 10 meter shot. Zank pulls the trigger and roar of approaching engines is joined by the snap of a gun shot. <English>

The fellow who Zank shoots is looking over towarads the roar of the engines back towards the field in which they came, his head exploding with blood, guts, bone, and brains as the close range high velocity 5.56 round makes muss of his brain-pan. It sounds like a landing cycle has started, those engines familiar to Zank for they're the ones of his fighter Baby Bird. Two of the three Legionairs left are heading back towards the field to check out what's going on. Just in time to see Kyoshiro exit the hatch of the ship that's still running. They open fire on his and he books it towards cover provided by Zank's wrecked ship. He takes out Junior and returns fire. The Young guy who fired at Zank's decoy is stalking slowly closer towards it, not sure why it hasn't fallen over or is writhing in pain from the shot. None of the others seemed to have noticed Zank's kill.

Another RPG is loaded and fired towards the roller. It cripples the machine, it's tracks coming apart on one side. The guns are still good and they still try to take out the more maneuverable Armumajiro. Though after a moment, the Disciple stops and shouts in Arabic. The shooting stops from the Legionaires. "Faotie McGuire! You will turn over the White Ones or face certain destruction!" He stands there with his pole-arm. The Churara have stopped their fire as well... wondering what kind of odd thing is going on. <English>

McGuire uses his cover to settle in a moment. Raising his rifle, he takes careful aim. The map in his head is clear, but the can see the Disciple speaking. That is his target. Slowly his finger squeezes the trigger on an exhale. The weapon discharges and Fao can't help himself as he yells out, "Over my dead body!" <English>

Zank is actually shocked for a brief moment when no bullets return towards him. He watches the others run off towards what he now realizes is baby bird. He looks towards the other that seems entranced by his decoy. Zank quickly moves towards the decoy and the Solider. He puts his rifle to one side and draws his pistol. "HEY!" he shouts a few meters from the Solider. He raises his pistol as the Solider turns to look at this threat. Zank doesn't hesitate. He fires 2 rounds from his pistol one into each knee cap of the Solider. The Solider scream in Pain, collapsing to his shatter knees. Zank doesn't give him the chance to fall over. In one fluid motion the pistol is holstered and a knife drawn from his belt. Zank slashed the blade across the mans throat . The man now can only gasp as his life fluid spills on the ground as Zank looks him in the eye. "That's for shooting down my family...." he says and draws his pistol and shoots the dieing man in the head finally putting the man out of his misery. Zank is already grabbing his stuff from the decoy as the body slumps over. He puts on his duster and slings his pack as he moves towards the fighter and Kyo's fight. <English>

As Fao shoots the Disciple he looks down at the hole now in his mid section. He looks back up, removing his hood to reveal a cratered face of scars and experience. This man certainly meant business. With a scowl of hatred he charges forth. "THAT CAN BE ARANGED!" He is quick, even with armor and that pole arm of his. Even that wound inside him. The battle erupts again around them as the Disciple's Pole-arm comes crashing down towards Fao. The Churara ad taken the time to reload their RPG's and two streak out towards the Roller and it explodes, it's innards catching on fire. The hatch opens, flames licking out wildly. A screaming man who's on fire rushes out and runs across the battlefield screaming in scorching pain.

The skirmish back at the other crash sight is starting to wind down. With two of the four patrolers dead the other ones firing down on Kyoshiro as he lays up behind cover. The Churara High Commander peaks out and take two shots, one at each Legionaire. One bullet whizzes by the head of the first one, a near miss as he ducks behind cover. The other one plows straight through the other ones head. Three down one to go. Kyo ducks back behind cover. "Gorram it..." He grumbles. <English>

Zank opens fire as he comes out of the wood line still using the trees for cover. He steps out from behind the tree walking into the feild the weapon still raised. His shots are on target but seem to be to just keep the Solider head down <English>

McGuire drops his rifle from the force behind the pole-arm that drove it down and struck him. He steps back, enough to get away from the rise of that weapon, and pulls his saber. The motion is full as he steps out from under the ship to gain ground with a swinging weapon. He can't attack, the distance isn't close enough yet, but if that Disciple tries to strike, he close the distance with a thrust. He readies himself, slightly dazed from the first hit. Bullets may not slow this person down, but steel might be enough to give pause. <English>

As they were bid to do, thus do they do. The girls stay on the ship. And thus, they stay out of trouble. Or that's the hope, at least. Amen's voice comes to Fao's mind then, which is highly irregular: "Ship weapons?" he asks. Ten hasn't moved from where Fao deposited her there inside the ramp. Her mind has, however, remained linked to Fao's in an attempt to help him if she can. She keeps the map in place, making adjustments as they're needed. <English>

Of course the Deciple is going to press the attack. Though Fao is mostly out of range, a small misstep by the man causes the blade of the pole-arm to graze the saber rattling Romany. The Disciple seems to be slowing down a bit, sweat forming on his head, blood staining his cloak heavily from Fao's gunshot. The Jiro, now that the roller is down, seems to be making quick work of the remaining forces, along with the Churara behind their pillboxes.

Zank's supressive fire causes the Legionaire to turn around and duck, starting to fire towards him. This leaves an opening for Kyoshiro who takes a shot at an exposed shoulder that peaks out from behind the tree. His aim is true but it's a graze, leaving a large gouge in the man's arm. He screams in pain, dropping his weapon as his hand goes to the wound. He's exposed and he finishes the job with a shot to the head. Kyo scans the horizon. "That all of them?!" He yells over the sound of the Baby Bird's engines. <English>

Zank stops firing the rifle and looks around. He spots Kyo on the other end of the clearing near his old fighter. He smiles briefly at the man as he make his way over. "Yea." he says "less they dropped a sniper somewhere but lets not stay an find out." he says patting the other man on the shoulder as he passes. "Essy owes me a ship too..." he says looking at the wreck. "I liked that ship...liked her name." he says chuckling just happy to see his friend alive. <English>

McGuire steps forward this time to close the distance, "Do you hear that? That's the sound of your defeat. You stand alone here, and the minds of the White Ones, as you call them, can crush you where you stand." In his mind, he answers Amen as he thinks to him, "Rear cannon, but we've the advantage here. Concentrate on the man in the robes with the staff. Give him a scare. All of you, focus on him." The pole-arm comes down is parried away as he says aloud, "You've lost." <English>

Ten passes along the information to the other girls, as well as to Amen. And it takes them a moment, but they do concentrate on the robed man that Fao indicated. The map within Fao's mind fades away into nothingness. And the combined power of the girls and Amen seeks out the man's deepest and darkest fear. And then they dredge it up in his mind, pulling it out of the shadows. <English>

Kyoshiro moves back towards Baby Bird as soon as Zank meets up with him. "You wana fly or me?" He asks, not sure as he enters the hatch into the Fighter. "Recommend keeping it to the deck, got the stealth cranked but... stay away from the cities. And what name was that?"

The Disciple narrows his brows as images comes to his head, things he has had nightmares of, battle and pain of wounds. Those he's killed for Legion. He back away from Fao, "You think... you think this scared me? I am a Disciple of Legion, I've seen so much worse..." He's staggered from the blood loss and the distraction from the many minds inside his own. <English>

McGuire rushes the advance as the man speaks, blade at throat level for the thrust. One more step and he can see the look in the mans eye's as the drives the blade home. The Mibu voice in the back of his head says they can get information from him, but the rage in his heart against anyone claiming to be Legion drives the point of his blade deeper, pulling to the side to slash his throat open. Fao's advance takes him up to the man's body, his tone harsh and unforgiving, "Worse than this?" Elbow to the mans belly and hilt to the mans face as Fao power housed the last strikes. <English>

Zank laughs "Dead orbit...had a nice ring to it...ill fly." he says <English>

With the Disciple on the ground, staggered from the attack from the girls and Amen. He's far too distracted as Fao's blade opens his throat, blood spilling out. He chokes and bleeds out in seconds. With their leader dead the rest of the Legionaire's retreat, which is unusual for them. The burning tank and dead stay though.

Zank takes the fighter into the air quickly and with skilled ease. He keeps the fighter close to the tree tops and quickly increase the speed being wary to avoid the city or her outskirts. "So you wanna fill me in now or later?"

"Me fill you in? You should fill me in... What's going on up there?" Kyoshiro asks, "We got caught up in that first battle, went down. Been making it on the down low waiting for the skies to clear. Just fixed the ship." <English>

Zank smiles "I knew the old girl would make it!" he says piloting the ship around a low hill. "As for us....Essy and Jacy and me joined forces we've been supplying the light show for y'all the last couple of nights. Killed that behemoth of a ship. Geist and Destiny took damage had to get repairs at Ares came back for round two last night or so to kill the black fleet or at least do damage. Also to get a comm sat in orbit so y'all could talk to folks in orbit. That was me an dead orbits Job.... that was.... intrestin' to say the least." he pauses shaking his head. "Comms up and i crashed... Vanessa misses you by the way... Elders panicked a slight bit from what I heard when y'all went missin'... They were still waitin' t' act... probably still would be..." <English>

"Right..." Kyo says as he hangs in the back with the fold down seat. "Well... Essy and Jacy can clear the way. Fao wants to stay on world. The Girls can sense that Lilith, the Night Angel. Though. I think we need to find a new spot to hold up. He was talking about Radar so I'm thinking a Mountain some-wheres." <English>

Zank nods following the last trips record to the original coordinates. "what ever works but we might be able to get off world with Jia if shes fixed up." he says "link up with the Captains...actually take back this rock from these worthless curds" he says "though wouldn't mind stayin' an killin' a few more. been waiting long enough" <English>

"Yeah... That's more along the thinking I'm at... but Fao. He's stubborn and I'm starting to question his sanity." Kyoshiro says shaking his head. "So focused on this final battle even though it'll only happen when it happens. Suppose we stick him on the mountain somewhere and assist in creating a beachhead they should be relatively safe." <English>

Zank frowns. "Gorram..." he says "ill talk to him." he says finally "How have the girls been in all this?" <English>

"Trying to convince him of the same shit I am. They keep telling him and he doesn't listen." Kyoshiro says with a roll of his eye. "It's hard to explain that until there is a beachhead and a safe zone we probably should not be on world or try to get off world." <English>

Zank sighs "Then maybe he will listen to me. When this is all over we might wanna think about seein' what he wants to do. Some solid ground might do him good for a spell" <English>

Kyoshiro shrugs, "Do what you can. I haven't been able to convince him." <English>

Zank nods "I'm still captain of the Jia last i checked an hes still a Deck hand...ill drag him on board if i have to...or you can drug him." <English>

McGuire would give orders to the soldiers to search the bodies for iComms and check frequencies. Also to move the bodies to the roller after he gives it a complete check over. They are communicating somehow and he wants to know how. The roller is damaged and can't be moved, so it will become the tomb for their dead. Also collecting firearms and ammo, grenades and anything else that might help in this fight. He would not allow the girls out until all the clean up is done. He thinks to Ten to relay to everyone else, "We will need to move out of this location so ready the girls for upthrust in a few hours." His concern for Kyo and Zank is still loud in his mind and his left arm and shoulder are killing him from where he got hit. No time to patch up yet, got to get this site clear. <English>

There are no apparent communication units to be found anywhere on the bodies of those who are a part of Legion. And so, how it is that they've been communicating among each other will remain a bit of a mystery. They didn't have much in the way of ammunition left, having used much of it in the firefight that happened. They don't have anything in the way of identification or money or things of that nature. Depending on how well he searches the bodies, he'd find on the female a simple anklet made of silver with a feather charm on it.

On the ship, Ten tilts her head a little to one side, listening to Fao's thoughts, and she gives a small nod. "We'll work on getting things packed up for transit," she says in his mind. It's only then that she actually bolts from the cargo bay up to the common area -- spoon still in hand from when she was helping pack up the outdoor kitchen. <English>

Abbey has been quiet since everything that happened, the sniper is camped out at a high point to take in the place and keeps a watchful eye over everyone. At the moment a burning cigarette rests between her lips, rifle on her lap while she is setting her hat back upon her head. Her pale gaze drifts slightly towards the movement of others and she lifts her head just slightly. <English>

McGuire makes sure there are no more bodies laying about before he opens the ramp. The soldiers are then instructed to get the outside gear aboard the ship and stowed for launch. He walks around the ship to signals Abbey to return before opening the ship again. McGuire heads up the ramp and questions the girls, "Did any of you pick up a mental connection to a leader as Legion made it's attack on us?" He has the silver anklet with the feather in his right hand and holds it out to them, "See what you can pick up from this if you can." Desperate times call for desperate measures. <English>

The girls exchange looks among themselves, and many of them shake their head. It's Octavia who steps forward, though, to speak for all of them. "No," she says softly, her brow furrowing slightly. "There was no connection between them and any other," she adds. She takes a moment to look over towards the others who are assembled, and there's a long moment where none of them move to take the anklet from him. They all have a gift of being able to pick things up from personal effects such as this, and they are hesitant to take up the burden of what it might hold. Octavia is about to reach out and take it, but... oddly, it's one of the smaller girls who steps forward instead. Lifting a hand, she lowers Octavia's hand and gives a little shake of her head, and then she steps over to Fao. She's one of the quietest among them, reserved. Lifting one of her small hand, she claims the anklet from Fao and holds it carefully. <English>

Abbey is soon shifting and picking up her rifle once the signal from McGuire. She glances over the area once more before moving down from the high view point. Rifle still in hand she is moving towards the others, half catching the conversation as she goes. <English>

McGuire crouches down before number 1 and studies her closely as she does her thing. Quiet, mind a blank with just a touch of concern that one so small should do the reading. <English>

Abbey lets the rifle lower slightly as she pauses once next to McGuire, a brow lifting as she looks to the one with the item and then back to McGuire. "What did I miss?" <English>

McGuire takes the anklet from 1, "Thank you One. From my understanding, Legion got most of their army from orphans like this one." He pockets the silver chain and feather charm and rises to his feet. "The attack on us tells us that Legion knows where we are. We're going to have to move the ship. Where is a good question. He looks to Amen, "You tell me where is a safe place for this crew to set down where we can plan our next step. As soon as Baby Bird gets back, we're launched. I don't know what's in the sky, so we can't go to high, but we can skirt the tree line for a safer place." He looks to Abbey, "You're pretty much caught up now. We've been spotted and their first wave was taken down. Not sure how much time we have though." He wants so bad to call Kyo, but knows the jamming system is still blocking their calls. "The guards are high alert and all we can do now is wait." <English>

The girl looks up at Fao, and she gives a small nod, letting him take the anklet from her. Lowering her hand back to her side, she takes a moment to look to her siblings before backing away from him to rejoin the others. Amenadiel half bows to Fao, standing a bit apart from the girls. "There are many safe places. We won't need to go very high to get to it, and it is not terribly far whilst at the same time being far enough," he says, a hint of a smile coming to his features. <English>

Abbey glances between the three before a slight nod is seen, the cigarette is taken and a slight flick sends the ash fluttering to the grounds. "Sounds like a any other typical day." She murmurs a bit. <English>

McGuire nods to Amenadiel, "Good." He walks up to Octavia and takes her hand, "Holding together dear?" He asks simply, looking her in the eye's. This whole affair has been dangerous for everyone, this he knows, but her reassurance is valuable to him in ways all the armies of the Romani could never afford him. "Is Kyo alright? Did he find our wayward son?" Meaning Zank, the one man he views as the son he's always wanted. <English>

Octavia ducks her chin a little bit as she lets Fao take her hand, and a small smile touches at the corners of her lips. Then she gives a small nod. "So far, aye. It just... it seems like we live on quite the edge, these past days," she says, her eyes searching his for a moment. Then a small smile returns to her features, and she gives a little nod. "Kyoshiro is all right. He found the wayward one, and he is on the way back," she says softly, giving his hand a gentle squeeze. <English>

McGuire gives a reassuring nod and looks to the children before saying, "What she says is true and I am sorry to have put all of you on the edge like this, but what we are doing was foretold in some mystical way. I don't want to see any of you involved in this and would rather fight our way off this rock to a safer place, but Legion has covered the 'verse with there beliefs and we drove them back to this very planet. Be strong, and we will see this through together. For together, we are unstoppable. Together we are strong. A family united in what is right and we will defeat what is wrong." He has no idea where this speech came from, but if needed to be said. Turning to Octavia again, "Once Baby Bird is birthed, we'll be taking off. I'll need Amenadiel on the bridge with me to find our safe haven. We'll figure the rest out later." He gently squeezes her hand before letting go to take watch on the ramp for the Hummingbirds return. <English>

Abbey moves off while the two are talking and takes a spot on the ramp to wait for the others to return as well. Her rifle is lowered while she looks out over the area once more just in case someone wanders back that shouldn't be here. <English>

The girls are quiet as Fao speaks his mind, though they do occasionally glance among each other. Octavia gives his hand a gentle squeeze, and then she shakes her head. "It is not your fault, the hand that life has dealt us. There is nothing in our lives that has been guaranteed, save for that we have a purpose that has been pre-written for us," she says, a gentle note to her voice. A smile returns to her features, and she lifts her free hand to lightly cup one of his cheeks, and then she gives a nod. The pieces of the puzzle continue to spin and whirl in their own pattern, falling into place in their own rhyme and reason. A wistful expression comes to her features, and she lets his hand go when he takes it back. "We'll figure things out," she adds. <English>

McGuire walks to the top of the ramp and looks outside. He had retrieved his rifle back to his shoulder and moves it to take a seat on the ramp. He pulls his pouch out and starts to roll a cigarette and says out to Abbey, "They are keeping calm about all this. If I hadn't been through the war, I think I'd lose my mind. I wish I understood the whole thing about all this, but all I see are children with adult burdens on their shoulders. If we could get off this rock, Alliance could lay it bare with one touch of their over controlling finger. I've seen it." He lowers his tone, "I've done it." Dropping his head a bit to get the roll connected and then licks it shut. Placing between his lips, he returns the pouch and pulls out the lighter to lit his cigarette. Pulling a deep drag, he blows it out into the open air. "What's this going to do to those children when it's all over. If we win, nightmares for the rest of their days. If we lose, well, I guess it wouldn't matter." He pulls another drag. "I can't wrap my head around it all. Genetically fashioned to end a war in the future, but all before they can grow up and be normal people. I just don't get it." He knows they are still in his head. It's his concerns that he speaks, his understanding that he lacks, his verbal approach that attempts to steady his nerves. <English>

Abbey glances to McGuire quietly a few moments after what he says and soon glances to her cigarette watching it burn. "If they are suppose to make it through they will. Just like the rest of us I suppose." A slight shrug is seen. "They will have to grow up quickly, no one gets to be a child forever, especially in this world we live in. Who says what is normal anymore?" She pauses a moment glancing off to the side as if something caught her attention before a soft breath escapes her and she looks back towards the tree line. "Normal is just a word anyway." <English>

"No, Fao. This fight, it is not about decimating a world. About making it void of life. Killing everything, everyone. There are innocents on this world, people who are not of Legion's sway. People who rebel against the cause of Legion. Even if we could leave, delivering the fate of death to all of them is not our choice. It is not the right choice," Octavia says softly, her voice calm. Reaching out with her right hand, she places it upon the shoulder of the child who stands closest to her. The girl looks up at Octavia, then looks to one of the other girls.

A strange thing then begins to happen. The girls all join hands one to another, forming a circle with each other. The pupils of their eyes widen so that there lies only a thin ring of color to their eyes. And in varying notes of harmony one to the other, thirteen voices turn themselves into one melody. And the shape of the cargo bay lends a certain eerie quality to it. "Come little children, I'll take thee away. Into a land of enchantment. Come little children, the time's come to play. Here in my garden of shadows. Follow sweet children, I'll show thee the way. Through all the pain and the sorrows. Weep not, poor children, for life is this way. Murdering beauty and passions. Hush now dear children, it must be this way. To weary of life and deceptions. Rest now my children, for soon we'll away. Into the calm and the quiet. Come little children, I'll take thee away. Into a land of enchantment. Come little children, the time's come to play. Here in my garden of shadows." <English>

McGuire turns to looks back into the bay. A puff of smoke rising up over his head. He watches them all and the only expression is that of wonder. "Huh." Comes from him, "This is new." <English>

The voices fade, the notes of the song also grow quieter. And as that happens, all thirteen of the girls, as one, all fall to the floor. No longer awake, no longer conscious. <English>

McGuire looks to Abbey, then back to them to make sure they are still breathing. He gets to his feet, but pauses, "Uh, I don't think we should move them." McGuire looks to Amen for answers. <English>

Abbey watches the girls as they sing and then blinks as they all fall down. She stands up and glances to Amen and McGuire looking rather confused. "Honestly... If things get any stranger around here I'm gona need somethin' ta drink." <English>

McGuire points up to the catwalk that leads to the commons, "Whiskey and rum in my cabin." He waits for Amen to say something. <English>

Amenadiel's brow furrows at the strangeness that happens, and he steps quietly towards the nearest of the girls to him. He lowers to one knee next to her, then reaches out to deftly check her vitals. It's only then that he looks over to Fao and lifts one of his shoulders in a faint shrug. Carefully, then, he rises to his feet before stepping into the center of the circle they had made, and he settles there in cross-legged fashion. He takes the time to reach out to each of them in turn -- touching a hand, a foot, any part of them which happens to be closest to him. It's only once he's touched each that he turns his gaze to Fao, and he inclines his head slightly. "Blankets to cover them. But they ought be left where they fell," he says softly, a gentle note to his voice. Settling his hands upon each of his knees, he closes his eyes and starts to meditate, or so it would seem. <English>

McGuire nods, "On it." The blankets are stored upstairs. His footfalls are heavy as he races up the spiral staircase to the catwalk and on to the commons. <English>

Just then is the sound of Baby Bird on approach and making it's landing back in the birthing of the Jia. Kyoshiro, looking over the view port at the blown up roller and some of the chaos around causes him pause, "What the hell happened while I was gone?" As soon as Baby Bird lands he's moving quickly out the shuttle bay hatch and off to find someone with the info. <English>

McGuire meets Kyo and Zank in the hall with an armload of blankets. Dividing them in thirds, he hands each of them a pile. "Welcome back ... you two. Glad your safe Lines. Girls just did a strange circle song and passed out after a little battle with Legion finding us. Amen doesn't even know what it's about, but we can't move them. Blankets are for them. Whiskey is for us. We've got to move the ship to a safer place before more bad guys come." Which he holds under his pile of blankets, rushing to the cargo bay. <English>

Amenadiel offers no explanation for what happened to the girls, to Octavia. If he has one, he doesn't provide it. He simply continues as he had started -- clearing his mind, his breathing slow and even, and his hands remain upon his knees. Softly, quietly, if a person listens closely enough, the man can be heard to be humming a melody. The girls, and Octavia, remain where they had fallen -- alive and breathing, but unconscious. <English>

Zank cant hear a dam thing. probably something to do with a crashing ships and gun shots. He looks to Fao then the girls and then around. "Y'all get all the fun." he mutters sarcastically. Trying to break the tension "I agree with the move though y'all's position sucks. No fault of your own." he says "Have y'all sent word to the Geist and Destiny, last i knew they fell back to Ares after we got that Sat in orbit?" <English>

Kyoshiro looks over to Amen then to the girls, specifically Llew... He feels like he needs to tend to her but sees that no one is moving them, only giving them blanket. He pushes the booze away and shakes his head. "Take off... we can figure out where while we circle... out of ear shot of here and away from the cities... Somewhere with the high ground..." <English>

McGuire says, "I sent a message out a while ago with no response as of yet. I told em of our situation and where we are. Can't say the word got out, but we have to move this ship before Legion comes looking for their people." He begins to place blankets on the girls where they lay. Running a hand along Octavia's cheek with such care as he covers her. Then to Amen, "Just tell me where to take the ship so I know where a safe place is to set down." <English>

Zank puts a hand on Faos shoulder and puts himself between the bridge and the man. "I got it Fao" is all he says and turns to head to the bridge. "look after them" he says over his shoulder. He still has no idea how these girls or any of this makes sense. So he just goes and flies the ship. Its not long before the reactor fires to life and the ship is airborne. <English>

Slowly does Amenadiel move his hands from his knees. His hands come together before him, fingers of one hand lacing with those of the other, and his eyes remain closed. It's anyone's guess as to just what he might be attempting to do. That humming of his continues, steadfast, unbreakable. <English>

Kyoshiro moves over to the inter comm and presses it. "Hey Zank... Search the database on Boros for Hallelujah Flats, a Plates in Eden's Staircase..." He blinks looking over to Amendiel, finding something very odd and Ironic. If he was a man of deep faith he might be having a crisis of faith right now. <English>

McGuire steps back once, letting his mind open. He nods, "Hallelujah Flats. Got it, thanks old man." Meaning Amen if he is in fact over a hundred years old. He looks to Kyo, "I'll guide Lines. Get your men inside and we'll be off. Green light us when their're aboard." He turns to the spiral staircase to head to the bridge. <English>

Zank responds on the intercom "Alright...." he says as the ship powers up. <English>

He did, after all, promise to provide a safe place for them. That humming of his continues, deep and rich yet soft at the same time. And still, none of the girls make any movement towards rousing. <English>

Zank delves into what he can access on the networks. There a mess with the state of the planets systems right now. He looks through what he can find.... <English>

McGuire isn't long to the bridge. "Systems read green." He says to Zank as he punches in the new addy they are heading to. His perfect mind running the coordinates into place for Zank to follow. "Keep low to the tree lines and head Southeast. Those mountains there." He looks for Kyo's green light for his men before giving the okay to launch. <English>

Kyo gives the go-ahead. <English>

McGuire motions to green light. "We're in. Let's move." Moving to sit in the co-pilots chair. <English>

Zank brings the ship up but keeps her low. The data base returns vague results of historical sites in the mountains. "think i found it" he says "its about an hour away" he says over the intercomm. <English>
