There have been pockets of warfare spread out across the various cities of the planet. Legion, attempting to claim or reclaim ground. There have been both incidents of success and failure. But mostly, it has been a shifting that's almost like a ripple -- a loss of ground here, a claim of it there, but no overall wins.

For right now -- it is the wee hours of the morning. It is dark, and there are only hints of daylight starting to come upon the horizon. The sky is laden with ominous clouds, dark and swollen with the threat of rain. And suddenly, there are air raid sirens sounding from various points of the city, and there are explosions going off at different areas as well.

Amenadiel is in the process of sharpening his sword as this is happening, preparing for what is to come. The other girls and Octavia were sleeping, though they suddenly awaken within only moments of each other. And they start to scamper throughout the ship, each of them heading to somewhere else with the purpose of awakening people. Octavia heads for Fao, perhaps predictably so. Llewelyn heads for Kyoshiro. The others head for the troops and the encampments of troops outside of the ship. Though she doesn't understand the how and why of it, Willow ends up setting aside her weapons that she was sharpening in order to head to Zank with the intention of waking him up. <English>

McGuire stirs quickly, rising up he splashes a hand full of water on his face as he dresses. "Is this the call?" He askes Octavia, pulling up his pants and tucking in his shirt. <English>

Kyoshiro dosn't sleep much anymore. He's looking over the feeds from the now several different FOB's operating around the planet. The one that was here had long seince moved on and filtered out with the majority of troops as the lines expanded. However there was still a garrison here. So he spends most of his time in the CIC, only stepping out for food, sleep, a smoke, or other bodily functions. <English>

Zank actually is sleeping rather well. Beside his make shift bunk is simply his coat and a rifle with plenty of ammo and mags. His pistol rests in his holster on his leg but hes asleep. He could always sleep before a fight. Never knew why. <English>

Octavia manages a brief smile to Fao, though it has no reflection in her eyes, and it vanishes too easily. Lifting a hand, she lightly touches one of his cheeks, a turmoil reflecting in her eyes. The future is unknown, unwritten, and she and the others have seen too many variations of it to know which one might unfold. "It is time to go. The ship must fly," she says quietly, inclining her head towards him.

Llewelyn, for her part, quietly approaches Kyoshiro and lifts a hand to place it on his shoulder there where he's sitting to look over the various feeds. "Papa... it's time," she whispers softly, a solemn note to her voice.

Upon reaching Zank, Willow pauses. Watching him sleep for a long moment. Then she steps closer, placing a hand upon a shoulder of his and giving him a gentle shake to try to wake him up. "It seems we need to be awake," she says softly, her green eyes bright.

Meanwhile, some of the air raid sirens have silenced, though likely only because bombs have damaged them. Others still shriek through the night, giving their warning. The clouds rumble overhead, and fat raindrops start to fall. Fires begin to burn where the bombs had fallen, wreaking havoc with injuries and deaths unknown. <English> McGuire pulls on his boots and ties them. He rises to feel the touch and it calms him. To know that this is it brings a childish Christmas morning sensation running through his body. Belt in hand, rifle in the other, he turns to the exit and climbs out. In the hall, he fastens his gear and quick steps to the bridge, "What's our destination Octavia?" Knowing she's staying close, he askes in his even tone. <English>

Kyoshiro glances over to Llewelyn, his eyes softening a bit at his daughter an the reality of the situation. "I really wish Kyronis made me that personal Armor I requested. I'm not sure my Ascention is going to make it through this." He hd a agut feeling this was probably going to be the most difficult and bloody battle of his life. He places his hand over Llews, patting it before standing. He ruffles her hair lovingly before placeing that hand on the back of her neck, "Let's go..." <English>

Zank awakes with a slow opening of eyelids. He looks at the ceiling as it rumbles and dust falls around them. "Just like Du Khang..." he mutters speaking of the old battle so long ago now. "Ready?" he asks sitting up and looking at Willow a moument before throwing on his coat and strapping his rifle to himself. He checks both and takes a breath. <English>

A moment is taken by Octavia to simply look over Fao, and a faint smile touches at the corners of her lips. She follows him then out into the hallway and to the bridge, though she is perhaps a touch eerily quiet along the way. She has limited weapon skills of her own to bring to the battle, alas. She half closes her eyes and rather than tell him -- for the place has no name that she knows -- she shows him. In his mind, an image of a slowly spinning map of this planet, which unfolds itself before showing an x where they are bound for. A wide swath of land that is void of trees, with an area off to one side which is somewhat elevated from the rest of it.

Llewelyn meets her father's gaze, and she manages a little smile. Then she lifts a hand to lightly pat one of his cheeks. "It is what it is, Papa. There is no more time. Please be careful. There will be voices other than ours that might reach your minds, but we will try to protect you and the others. We are not warriors like you, but... we will face this fight with you," she says softly. It's what they were made for, after all. Though most of them are still children, today they feel the weight of their mortality. She gives a small nod to him, and then moves to follow.

A smile quirks at the corners of Willow's lips, and she gives a nod. She lifts a hand, tussling her curls slightly. She takes a moment to look him over, and then she gives a nod. "I hope when the dust has settled, that we'll have the opportunity to share a drink, with peace around us. I will watch your back where and when I can," she says softly. "I am ready," she answers. <English>

McGuire is half Romany and it's that side of his being that allows such ease for the Reader to show him the place. He can't explain it, but he knows where it is. He steps into the cockpit and props his rifle in an upright locker. Taking his seat, he begins to press the start up sequence. Outside, the Jia comes to life. He doesn't need to set a course, he just knows it and his perfect sense of direction never faulters. He touches his iCom, "Tell me when everyone is aboard, the Jia is about to lift off. Octavia told me where to go and our course is set." <English>

Zank chuckles a bit and nods "Sounds shiny." he says "Can tell me all about how ya got yourself were ya are." he says and then nods again. "Ill keep ya eye out...not that i need to...Space Ninja." <English>

Kyoshiro nods to Llew, "I know..." He picks up the Mic for the comms and speaks over the airwaves on an ecrypted channel, and in Romani. "Dimitri... I'm sending you some tracking Data from the Jia. Once it's sedentary... I want you to divert as many troops as you can to this area. Let Heather know too and advise her to do the same. But don't move too many, we need to hold our lines." He looks over to Fao and Octavia. "How long?" The men that were left clammer aboard the Jia, reading the Arumajiro for combat. <English>

Octavia moves over to take a seat as well, remaining on the bridge with him. She secures herself, and can't help but to fidget her hands a bit. Uncertain, nervous. Afraid, too, even though she's trying not to show it. She's had more glimpses of the future than the others, than what she's allowed the girls to see, than what she's shared with them. Lifting a hand, she gathers her hair and whilst he tends to the flying of the ship, she braids her hair to get it out of her face.

Willow gives a brief laugh, and then she winks at him. "We'll see, when the time comes. You know more than most ever find out and live through learning," she comments. She watches him a moment, and then gives a nod. "A space ninja stuck on the ground, soon enough -- at least, it seems this fight will be ground based," she says.

Llewelyn lifts a hand to rub her face a little bit, then looks up at Kyoshiro. "Twenty minutes, at the most," she answers, her brow furrowing a little bit. "Then we will be there. At the battleground, where the final battle will happen," she says quietly. <English>

McGuire says, "Fifteen minutes, if we can avoid this air attack." He motions out the view on the cliff side to show the city below and all the smoke from the attacks rise up into the breeze of the morning. Fao switches to ship come and grabs the mic. "Amen, you got a head count, we ready for upthrust?" <English>

Kyo gets down on one knee and feel around Llew to see if she has that armor he gave her on. Also if she's got his old 1911 on her. "You got your gun and your armor, Sweet Pea? Yeah?" He reaches to his hip and pulls the Wakizashi from his Daisho. "Take this too... for now. You promise me you give it back when we're done and we'll have Kyronis make you one all your own." He places a hand on her cheek. "I'm sorry you had to grow up so quick. I tried... not to expose my children to the same life I had. I failed and I'm sorry for that." <English>

Zank grins and nods "Yea well it ant my forte either...much rather be in a cockpit....least if i die there it can be quick...just a big beautiful fireball." he says making a ka boom sound effect. "Alright..." he charges the weapon. "Lets get this party started." <English>

"The air attack is not meant for us," Octavia says quietly, looking over towards the city with parts of it in flames. She half closes her eyes, a look of concentration coming to her features. "They will not see us leave this roost. We will pass from it unharmed," she adds in a softer tone of voice. Her eyes fall the rest of the way closed, eliminating the distraction of what she sees from affecting what she's trying to accomplish.

Over the intercom comes Amenadiel's voice: "All who need be aboard are. Proceed."

As it would happen, Llewelyn is wearing the armor as well as gun that Kyoshiro had given to her. A bit of colour creeps to her cheeks and she gives a small nod to him. "Mmmhmm, I have both. I hope that I will not need either, but... I wear them. Just in case. Bad things are going to happen, Papa. Please be careful," she adds, her brow furrowing a little bit. "I promise," she agrees, readily, giving a small nod to him. Then she tilts her head to one side before shaking her head. "No, Papa. You did not fail, and there is naught to be sorry for. That I had to grow up quick is no fault of yours. It is the fault of Legion. Remember that," she says softly, giving a small nod to him.

Willow tilts her head slightly to one side, and then she laughs lightly. "Give me a pair of swords to fight with and I am more than happy. Guns are for taking apart so you can run your enemies through," she comments, winking at him. She takes a brief moment to check her blades, and interestingly enough the pair of guns that she wears. She's not without skill with them, even though she might have a preference for her blades.

Oddly, it would seem, as the Jia is reaching the location of the final battle, there is another ship coming in to land at the far side of the swath of land. A black Harpoon. It is still early in the morning, still dark with but streaks of daylight reaching across the sky. Clouds roil in the sky, and the rain has started to fall harder. <English>

Zank narrow his eyes. "I hear a challange." He says looking down his sights breifly "Winner buys the first round?" he asks looking out the door both ways for anyone wanting to see them dead. He dosnt give her time to answer before moving into the warzone that is the streets outside. <English>

McGuire replies over the ships comm, "Roger that, upthrust in five, four, three..." The ship jerks slightly and gravity tightens up as the force upward rocks the ship up and away from the mountain side. The motion steadies and Fao plots his course and sets it into the navsat so it can be reported. The city smokes below, the signs of war covering the landscape. Nerves begin to fill Fao, stiffling his nightmares of the past few days deep inside him as best he can. Pulling a deep breath, he guides the ship across the city to it's landing spot and begins to land. Fao studies the Harpoon and he wants to throw up, but keeps it contained with a bitter swallow. Over the mic, "We're here." <English>

Kyo gives Llew a kiss on her cheek. He reaches for the com switch again, reaching his Leuitenant. "Okay were sending coordinates now. I don't know how long it'll take troops to get here. We'll engage them while you march. Try to keep them here and on the fiel of battle. Relay that to her." He's of course talking to Dimitri, his LT. Whom would be corrisponding with Jacy and the Alliance Invasion force. He looks to Willow, "None of them will get a bullet from me... it's too personal now." He starts to head down to the Cargo Bay. He pulls off his Grey Great Coat and picks up his White one with the three coat tails and the fancy epaulettes. It flows as he pulls it over his shoulders. <English>

Tilting her head slightly to one side, Willow quirks a bit of a grin and then she gives a nod. "Fair enough, that. Is the winner determined by number of kills or by lesser number of wounds taken?" she asks, winking at him. She takes a glance about, then raises an eyebrow slightly. "So. How do you feel about hoverbikes?" she asks, a smile curling at the corners of her lips. It'll get them to the battlefield quickly enough, after all.

It's only once they've safely made it to their destination that Octavia opens her eyes once more. She releases a breath that she'd unconsciously been holding, then lifts a hand to rub her face a bit. She might not like it, but... it doesn't matter. This is where they're meant to be, no matter what it is that's about to happen. And she has to believe that this is where Legion will end.

Llewelyn manages a little smile as she looks up at Kyoshiro. "The other side will have reinforcements as well. They march, even now," she says softly, tilting her head a little to one side. She doesn't have a scope or a sense of the numbers, nor do the others, but there will at least be more forces on the side of good than on Legion's side, to start things off. And death will come for too many.

The black Harpoon finishes its landing sequence, and the ramp lowers before anyone makes as though to disembark from it. The remaining disciples, the Night Angel, and a significant squadron of Legionaires. All of them are armored, and all of them are armed. The clouds continue to roil, thunder rolling across the sky, and a fork of lightning rises up from the middle of the soon-to-be-battlefield. The rain is cold, pouring down to start to run the plain into a more slippery and dangerous place than it was about to be. <English>

McGuire frowns and pulls the mic again. "Noted other ships along the way. We're not alone. There is a black Harpoon across the way facing us. It landed when we did. Ships down, all hatches reliesed. God be with you." He takes his finger off the mic and hangs it overhead. Looking out through the view, he's got the best seat in town, but he knows he has to go. Go out there to be a witness. Be with them how ever this plays out. He swallows again and really wants a cup of coffee, but settles for a cigarette. <English>

Zank peeks around the corner and sees what she sees. He opens his mouth to speak..."Well figure that out once..." VVVEEEERRRR ZNAP!!! A bullet cracks between the two and the brick next to them cracks and shatters. Zank ducks reflexivly and pushes Willow and himself into the a allyway. He turns and fires down the street at were he thinks the rounds came from. "You know where were goin?" he asks between gun shots. <English>

Kyoshiro adresses his men. "The lot of you are likely going to die. I'm probably going to die. This ship will be our graveyard. But we are Romani, we go with fire in our hearts and the will the defend our people and those who can't defend them selves. Better yet, we die free. Death becomes us and we strive to die on the battlefield doing what we were destened to do." He presses the button to lower the ramp. "Let's fucking destroy these cunts." THe Arumajiro rolls to life and Kyo starts walking down the ramp with his men. <English>

The battleground stretches wide and far, from where Legion has settled themselves to where the forces of good have landed. From the Black Harpoon that Legion brought here, the remaining eleven disciples have disembarked and begun to take a stance on the field. There are other Legionaires as well -- most commonly referred to as 'cannon fodder'. And foremost is a woman -- the Night Angel. She stands separate from the others, and all of them are both armed and armored.

On the good side of the battlefield, once the Jia has finished its landing sequence, the girls have disembarked and gone to find some small amount of cover to hunker down in. They, for the most part, aren't fighters, even though some of them have weapons skills. And their mental abilities may well serve this battle better.

The battlefield itself is much like a plain -- mostly level, but there's underbrush here and there, bushes and what have you, though no trees. It's still the early hours of the morning -- dawn's light streaking on the horizon. Dark clouds are overhead, roiling, and thunder is rumbling threateningly overhead. Lightning forks up from some midway point of the battlefield, a bright white light.

Zank and Willow will have to reach the hoverbike and ride double in order to reach the battlefield. And it will likely be perilous enough, given the bombs still falling across the city from those half dozen black Harpoons that appeared from... somewhere.

Amenadiel disembarks from the Jia, dressed in white. He has armor and weapons, and he finds a point a bit aside from the others, standing and waiting. His blonde hair is braided, the braid resting at his back. He knows where he must go, what he must do. <English>

As they descend the Jia, weapons at the ready and battlerattle secured, the Churara tactically spread out with tactical and military professionalism. Leading them is Kyoshiro, tall and imposing. He's wearing his 'dress Uniform'. The Crimson Red Tunic with the chinese military collar. The long and flowing white Great Goat with the golden and gotti epaulettes. The coat dosn't just have one slit, but two, making for three tails that flutter and bluster in the wind. He's got his hair back in that typical tale of his. His single crimson eyes remains steely, his eyepatch scanning in it's different modes. "Spread out, find some cover and form a defensive line." He orders his men. THe Jiro comes roaring down the ramp last swining around to take up it's own position. The Churara Commander inspects the formation ahead hod him. Left hand reaches over, his right under the Tsuba of his Katana. His right thumb pops the blade from the Saya and he slowly draws it. He lays the flat of the blade across his shoulder and starts his march towards the enemy. <English>

McGuire follows the girls out, keeping them behind the Jia's landing struts. He watches Amen come out and make his stand. Fao doesn't know what to expect, pulling his rifle off his shoulder and holding it at the ready, end pointed to the mass forming across the field by the black harpoon. He keeps calm, and blanks his mind. <English>

Esther stands near the Jia as everyone begins to disembark. Her dark eyes glance from the people present and back out to the battlefield. This is a sombering moment. This is what it has all come down to. She stares at the woman in the distance, her brows furrowing. She remembers al the trauma and turmoil this woman has put people through. She remembers the trauma her actions have caused herself. Memories of that red sugar skull come back and anger wells within her. As the march forward begins, she takes her people and march forward alongside them. <English>

Zank contiunes to fire down the street at the now ID'd legion Soliders. He looks over at Willow a moument between shots. "We need to leave before they call for more help..." he says and looks over at the hover bike. <English>

Willow raises an eyebrow slightly as she gives an almost absentminded nod to his words. She reaches to a pouch at her waist, withdrawing something spherical and smooth. She presses a part of it, then eyes the soldiers before throwing it. It explodes in plumes of smoke. "Now!" she says, then rushes out the door. She makes for the hover bike, hopping on it and hotwiring it to get the engine to crank over and rev to life.

Three of the disciples break away from the others and start to make their way across the battlefield. Rain continues to fall, pelting people and ships and ground equally, soaking everything and everyone.

Amenadiel watches, and then his gaze slowly turns towards that slightly elevated section of the battlefield. And it is towards there that he starts to make his way. He seems... unhurried. Calm, but not necessarily at ease.

The Night Angel, at the exact moment that Amenadiel starts to walk towards that area, turns and starts to do the same thing. There are, perhaps, some powers at work here which are out of the ordinary, beyond those normal bounds. Some might call it Fate, others might call it Destiny. Either way, it will be a fight to the death for some! <English>

Kyoshiro comes to a stop somewhere mid field. He brings his sword down from his shoulder. His empty hand moves away from his side, his blade stopping out stretches away from him so that those approaching may watch the rain drops splash of it's length. He stands there, his shin lowered a bit, crimson eyes glowing ever so slightly, like they did that time he went into that one other battle. His body language is almost, inviting, darring any challenger to step forward and meet their fate. He radiates confidence and machismo, the rain like an odd comfort to him. <English>

McGuire sticks with the girls, making sure no one can get at the girls. A watchful eye to the slight rise and direction Amen goes. What ever the girls deem they must do, Fao will be right there to make sure they are safe. He glances the tank and Kyo in the distance. He wipes his eye's, the rain washing over him. He wants to get closer to where Amen is going, but will only move if the girls move. <English>

Two of the disciples stop a bit further along, and the third reaches back to draw his katana. With it in hand, he then starts to directly approach Kyoshiro. The rain doesn't seem to bother him, but then... perhaps that's part of why they wear those headpieces of theirs? It's hard to say, but it could be one of those things. He isn't intimidated, but he is perhaps impressed.

The Legionnaires start to make their way across the battlefield, as do the various Churara forces. It will, perhaps soon enough, be an all out war. And the ground has started to show some signs of puddles, and some signs of muddiness. The footing, in response to the rain, is starting to become more challenging.

The girls stay hunkered down, perhaps trying to just find some semblance of calm around themselves. If they can't concentrate, then their abilities are essentially useless. Octavia starts to make her way amongst them, one by one, to speak with each of the girls in turn. Yet even though she does, she can't help but to be afraid herself. Which future will unfold?

Willow glances over her shoulder to Zank, then gives a light laugh. "The odds of you getting your hands on my toys is pretty small," she comments, amusement in her voice. She revs the engine a bit, and then puts the bike in gear and starts to drive. And she doesn't drive slowly, either!

Explosions from the city can still be heard, as well as the low flying buzz of the Harpoons doing the bombing. It will take days, possibly weeks, to tally up the death tolls. And Boros will bear scars for some time to come. <English>

As Kyo draws a challenger, he brings his sword to a mid guard, his other hand gripping the Tsuka of Nichibutsu along with the hand that was already holding it. He waits for the first assult to come, patiently waiting, feeling the battle with all the senses he can muster. He dosn't taunt, he dosn't say a word. His stance and demeanor tell the story of a father protecting his children, a warrior seeking the glory and thrill of combat no matter the outcome. <English>

McGuire follows Octavia with his eye's, still aware of his surroundings. He seems to note her uneasiness as he begins to think. The Jia is his home and has made it their home as well. All this time together and how they all got along. Something familar that brings images of a peaceful place and familar surroundings. Something the girls would know and be calmed about. Something he can do to help ease them. Suddenly, he begins to sing. "Mare's eat oats and doe's eat oats, and little lambs eat ivy. Kid's'll eat ivy too, wouldn't you." <English>

Zank blinks "Was gonna say the odds of us not getting hit by a bomb...didnt wanna jinx it...." he says as they take off down the street. He holds onto the bike with one hand lowers the rifle drawing his pistol. As they race through the streets the bombs contiune to fall. The shock waves rocking building and streets alike. There is fighting in almost every street. Alliance and Legion force clash across the city. The Bike zooming through firefights between Solider and vechiles alike leaving only confused looks on some Soliders faces. "Gorram..." he says mostly washed out by the bikes whine. He takes a shot Legion Solider who turns to shoot at the bike. Both persons shots go wide...its over before it began. <English>

The man in black steps up closer to Kyoshiro, stopping quite near to him but just beyond sword reach. He studies Kyoshiro for a long moment, and then he bows to him before straightening. He has naught to say, it would seem. No taunts, no cruel words. Just a sense of patience and calm, as though he is more than happy to let the fight be brought to himself.

As Fao starts to sing that so-very-familiar song, Octavia looks to him, her eyes a little wide for a moment. Then she gives a light laugh before reaching out to Llewelyn (the closest of the girls) and giving her a hug. She whispers something, then gives her a light pat on the back. First it's Octavia, and then Llewelyn, and gradually the other girls as well, all start to join into it.

Willow laughs lightly, and then she gives a nod, steering them around the crater that a bomb had left behind. So much in the city is burning, so much of it is in rubble. She seems rather good at being able to swerve the bombs, to avoid them and their explosive forces that cause clods of earth to fly up and chunks of buildings to fall down. "I like to make my own odds," she comments, glancing to him briefly over her shoulder. It takes time, but they do finally leave the city, and then it's a straightaway run across rain-soaked ground in order to ultimately reach the battleground. The hoverbike skids to a stop, and then Willow looks over to Zank. "So... ready to try to save the world?" she asks, a smile quirking at the corners of her lips. <English>

McGuire allows a smile across his lips, still on guard, rifle at the ready for any attempt at the girls. Seeing through the rain is difficult, looking up the slant to where Amen and the Night Angle face off. He has no idea what is going on up there. The girls seem a bit better, so that is good, the song continuing with the added voices from the girls. <English>

Kyoshiro slowly turns his feet and his stance changes. He takes a lower guard with Nichibutsu. He waits there quietly as he studies the Deciple. At that moment lighting strikes not so far away from Kyoshiro and his challenger, blinding the both of them from view for mere miliseconds. The Deciples stance hasn't changed but somehow Kyo managed to get behind the Legion high brass. His sword his back at his side, in one hand, sticking outwards in that taunting position it was before as if he had just finished an attack. Blood drips down his katana, mixing with the water as it runs over the finely polished steel. Kyo looks over his shoulder, that Crimson eys of his along with that peep hole on his eyepatch still glowing. Suddently blood bursts from violently from the Deciple. There is a crunching dound and then a squishy one as the top hald of his body seperates it's self from the bottom half and topples over. A calp of thunder roars before Kyo lets out a deep and powerful shout. His men all erupt in the same battle cry and then... the Battlefield lights up as every single churara weapon opens fire on LEgion force. Explosions, tracer rounds streaking all over the place. It's a nightmare. Kyo starts towards the two other Deciples his steps carrying power and determination with them. <English>

Zank lets go of the bike as they arrive. He looks over the field and shakes his head with a small grin at Willows words. "World...hell ya thinkin too small...savin the Verse sounds more our style..." he says giving her a wink. "Now..." he says scanning the feild "time t' kill some folks..." he says rather dark sounding. <English>

Amenadiel and the Night Angel reach that elevated space, stalking around each other with weapons drawn. There are a flurry of blows exchanged and parried, none drawing blood from the other. There is a screeching sound of metal shrieking against metal, and a shower of blue sparks rises up from the press of blade against blade. The metal of neither gives in, both of them well crafted. And their fight continues.

Against Kyoshiro, it would seem the Disciple is left without luck. And, momentarily, left without a pulse and with his body left in two pieces. There is no reaction from the other Legion forces at this happening. Though as the Churara charge forward, so too do the Legionnaires. And the battlefield turns into mayhem and chaos.

Willow watches the battlefield for a moment, and then she exhales a low whistle. She looks then to Zank, her features partially veiled by some of her curls, sodden as they (and the rest of her) happen to be. "See you on the other side, my friend. Don't let this battle kill you," she says softly, inclining her head towards him. Then she heads off into the rain, drawing her swords as she goes.

Grenades thunk, the sound muffled from the rain and the thunder. Then tumble and roll all over the battlefield, explosions causing the earth to tremble now and again. One of them happens to roll towards the girls, and the youngest shrieks. Octavia manages to herd a couple of them with her as she rushes to Fao to get him out of the range of it. The other girls break into smaller groups to get away from it as well. It's a scramble, to try to be out of the radius of it. <English>

Kyoshiro stalks forward and launches him self against the two nearby Deciples, his blade comming down withe a great furiosity. Though, despite the power behind his swings, they are controlled. The power comes not only from a primal place, but is channeled though skill an technuiqe. If his blade is deflected, blue and white sparks would erupt from the clashing of metal, joining the lightning, explosions, and tracer rounds illuminating the battlefield. <English>

McGuire hears the battle begin, barely able to see it through the down pour of rain. The girls scattering draws concern from him, "Stick together girls. To the starboard side of the ship, closer to the mound." He says in a commanding tone that rings out slightly over the explosions and gun play. The storm does help with it's flashes and booms of thunderbolts and lightening, very very frightening... He goes where the girls indicate, away from the battles. He keeps his eye's open and rifle ready for any Legion rushing the ship and the girls. <English>

Zank grins "you too...no promises" he says and heads into the storm as well. His rifle ready. What's with all the dam swords!!! what ever happened to people just shooting each other. So much simpler. That thought is quickly dismissed as the fighting kicks off. Zank can just make out the shape of his ship through the storm. "Jia on the left!!" he says "fall back there if it gets to hot" he yells to we're Willow went. <English>

The rain storm continues to rage, thunder and lightning playing out against the thick and heavy black clouds. There is all manner of chaos and mayhem on the battlefield. Craters, clods of dirt sent flying from explosions or laying displaced after concussive waves have passed. There are dead and dying, and there are injured, their sounds lost in the noise of the storm. There is mud and muck, the ground slick and slippery.

In the pre-dawn that this battle has been born into, Willow has vanished to somewhere amongst the fighters. Occassionally a person might catch a glimpse of her, but it would seem that she's not there the next moment when a person would seek to confirm what they've seen. She moves quickly, from one target to another, but she's not perfect -- and some of the blood she'll wear will be her own come the end of this all.

The girls were separated by the blast of a grenade. They scamper to find cover, and some of them manage it better than others. Who is to say what might come to pass for each of them in the course of the battle yet unfolding. There are more grenades, more explosions, and that many girls are hard to keep track of. Their concentration is broken, and they're unable to use their mental abilities either to help themselves or the others in the main part of the fighting.

Oksana is here as well, though dressed in black, she is an even harder target to spot than any of the girls. She darts amongst the Legionnaires -- presumed friend, perhaps, then deemed enemy after spilling their blood. Trying to thin their herds at least somewhat.

And on the rise above the battlefield, there comes the ringing of blades as Amenadiel and the Night Angel continue their battle. Each of them have drawn the others blood, but neither have tired, and neither has fallen as of yet. <English>

McGuire has a small group of children with Octavia by the Jia. He notices the many directions the other kids went and changes his mental concentration from the singing to orders. "Octavia, keep the girls with you here. Use the struts for cover. I'll go get the rest of the girls." The ones that ran closer to the battle are his first concern. Rifle in hand, he rushes across the field to the small group of scared girls. The rain and lightening makes it hard to discern figures in the dark, his only concern for the girls. "You three, come with me!" He steps in front of them, firing his weapon at anyone he thinks is Legion that is closest to the girls. "Move to the ship. Move it!" He orders. He's not sure if the girls have ever heard him yell before, but they are getting an ear full at the moment. <English>

Kyoshiro, his blade clashing against on of the two Deciples who had dared to challenge him. He took down the first one that had come to him, trying to prove his strength. It ended in a very one sided show. THe Churara Comander, his wet longcoat swaying with the force of the clash. Sparks fly up as the blades slide across each other. Fighting two enemies is touch, he watches as the other Deciples charges to him. He twists, the Deciples blade silding across his exposed wrist to draw some blood before Kyoshiro can bring his katana, quick enough to cut the individual rain drops falling down in twin, across the charging deciples neck and remove his head from his body. Blood spirts up from the wound. Though, Kyo dosn't have time to savor the kill. Instead, the assumingly more skilled and senior Deciples is pressing the attack. Their blades meet in a clash of sparks once more. <English>

Through all the combat, Esther and her men and women have been fighting tooth and nail against the Legionaires that have formed against them. Her group has been instrumental in flanking and thinning various groups of the enemy. The big fights between Amen and the Night angel will likely be something of song and story. The red-eyed churara leader will likely be thought of as some caped crusader that fights for the little person. Esther has not looked for fame, instead moved in the background doing those less than noticable missions that add up like a small scalpel that slices at various tendons until the body begins to become crippled.

The battle rages on and Esther has not stopped fighting. She becomes tangled with a large Legionarrie, the two rolling on the ground in mortal combat. One of her men step up and shoves a knife through the back of the man's throat. Blood spews from the Legionaire's mouth and onto Esther before rolling over and onto the grass to the side. "Thanks Kev." She doesn't have any time to stop as she delves back into the battle with her dwindling comrades. <English>

Zank is not having a good day. This battle is not making it any better. He's dodge a rocket that almost took his head off. By dodge I mean he tripped in a mud puddle at the right time. Then he threw a gernade back at a bold legoniarie. He soaked is mud and blood. his face a mess of dirt. He's pissed off. His rifle is out of ammo and he is down to his pistol and knife. He moves and finds cover we're he can. Trying to find anyone on his side and trying to kill anyone on the other side. <English>

It's difficult to reach a panicked mind, and even though there have been hours of practice put into their mental efforts, reality tells a different tale. There are emotions to each of them, ones which hadn't been present during their practice and which are hard to rein in under control. Octavia does her best to keep the few she has with her. And though Fao is able to draw near to a few of them, a grenade wobbles out of the rain and then rolls closer to the girls. In the confusion, it's likely they don't notice it. Until too late, when it explodes, and those three girls are knocked flat to the ground by the force of the explosion. And shrapnel pelts Fao from it.

The fighting on the rise seems to increase in intensity. Amenadiel gives a bellow of rage and starts to attack with greater fervour, pushing the Night Angel back somewhat.

The only light upon the battlefield is what fitful light the lightning offers, and the beginnings of pitiful daylight that manages somehow to seep through the dark clouds above. If there is a hell, this is surely akin to it. <English>

McGuire falls backwards, the horror of seeing the girls fall in the flash of the explosion. "GORRAM IT!" He yells out, his emotions stirring at his failure to protect the ones he swore to protect. Pulling himself up, he limps to the three, his rifle lost in the muddy ground and puddles. Scooping them up into his arms, he may be doing more damage then he knows, but he carries them towards the ship. Tears rushing down his cheeks washed out by the falling rain, he lays them down by the other girls. Looking in the direction of the other girls in the directions they went, he forces his body to move against the pain trying to drive his body down. He whimpers, "I'm coming." Step, drag, step, drag. Pure willpower keeping him moving, but he knows he's lost this fight, refusing to collapes to the ground in order to get the rest of the girls to safety. <English>

Tara - long red hair puller back, bright blue eyes scanning all, walks with he typical grace and poise, yet soft steps help her move. Clad in some armour, with her med kit at her side, thia gentle soul who manages her way through this hell, like calmness in a storm. Focused, for her mind is steady, relaxed, she moves to those fallen, such as the girls, to give aid where she can, and do everything to keep the death toll down. <English>

As Kyoshiro and the Desciple dance with their blades still mashed together, still sparking and grinding as the finely sharpened metal meet. Kyoshiro catches the explosion of the grenade out of the corner of his eyes. Then the aftermath. Then there's Amen losing his cool. He does his best but he can't. He can't fathom why some stupid fucking piece of rotten shit would throw grenades at children, brainwashed or not. There is not scream of rage, but his one eye that's left glows bright. His hair starts to... grow. Strands Hilights of the most rimson red start to take over the blackness of his hair. His wrists twists, inverting his blade and then he lunges powerfully towards his enemy, shovig the extrodinarily sharp blade through armor, skin, muscle, and bone. Then with a twin he drags the blade up and out of the man, leaving a wide gap between his shoulder and neck. That section that's seperated hands on by vary little and gravity is pulling away. Intestines spill out as well as tendons. Blood spirting every where. THe LEgionaire didn't stand a chance after that. Both him and Amen are on the warpath now. Kyo, walking past the dieing deciple screaming in complete pain, convulsing from the shock of his attack, hair still grows longer, breaking the hair band it's being held in. Most if not all of his hair is a Crimson red now. Esther knows this look, she knows exactly what this is. SHe's seen it before. Though Kyo's demeanor seems different, He seems almost in control. He looks to the remaining deciples and declare. "I AM GOING TO KILL EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU" Before Charging strait at them, a battle cry reverberating from his vocal cords. <English>

Legionaires are not stupid. Some of them had learned the tactics of Esther and her group. Soon, the group finds itself surrounded, a circle of the enemy closing in. "Hold your ground!" Esther calls out to those around her. Most of her people are out of ammunition and have resorted to melee style fighting. It is looking rather grim in her corner. She draws out her blade, discarding the empty gun she had carried. "To the last!" <English>

Zank is fighting just to see what's happening in front of him. There is a flash of lighting that lasts just long enough for him to catch a glimps of Esther and her team as well as Kyo. He has bearings sort of. He moves as fast he can through the mud towards Esther and her team. The melee around her is an madness and Zank dodges what he can as her men fight. Zank barrels twords the women. His target is not her but a legionarie on hear rear leveling a rifle. He collides with the legionnaire as the rifle cracks.... <English>

Octavia, through all the time spent in preparing for this very day, perhaps sheltered the girls more than she should have. But how do you expose children to death? To the possibility and probability that they will die? Three of them lie dead, bloodied and unmoving on the ground, rain washing the blood away. Taking away the mud on their skin. Leaving them clean. There is a song for the dead. And though it is not sung aloud just yet, Octavia sings it now in her head, with the three girls who are with her, all of them with tears streaking down their cheeks. In this moment, they have no words. There are no words to express the soul deep sorrow that's struck them.

There are many wounded upon the battlefield -- some of them call out for help in various volumes of voices, some of them try to haul themselves back towards their own zones to try to get help. Some of them are found by Tara, treated or at least given a drink of water to slake battle thirst before dying.

Amenadiel continues with fierce attacks against the Night Angel, yet they're equally matched. He manages to draw blood, but it seems nothing serious or even enough to slow the fury of the exchanges between them. Sparks rise up from clashing blades that glint silver in the lightning now and again.

Willow is glimpsed further along the battlefield in a sudden bright flash of lightning. Lunging at one of the disciples and engaging him with both katanas drawn. It seems she's not unwilling to take on foes who might be able to match her own ability with the blades. Yet as the flash of lightning fades, her fight is lost from clarity. <English> McGuire can't look back at Octavia, his mind on the girls not with the group. The rain washes his blood down his soaked body. He moves to the far side of the battle ground, the pain becoming numb as he moves. The lightening flashes before the thunder, but as it strikes, Fao trips over a body in the rain soaked mud. Face first with a splash on the ground, he rolls to his side and looks back. Thunder roars through the air and another flash of lightening shows what he tripped over. Another girl lays lifeless at his feet. Number Four from what he can make out. His horror starts to get the best of him a pained, "NO!" escapes his lips. Scrambling painfully to his feet, he turns to the body and picks up the lifeless form to carry it back to the ship. The rain maskes the tears flooding from his eye's. He can't stop, his own body throbbing against his determination to continue. Making back to the ship, he lays the body next to the other three and turns to where he saw the others go. A bullet wizzes past his face, his left lob shot off and his head rings out in even more pain. Stumbling slightly, he forces himself to rise up and continue his search for the remaining girls. <English>

As Esther finds herself surrounded and being closed in by. Along with Zank's assistance some reinforcements are starting to arrive, likely on both sides. Though that's probably not what makes much of a difference. What does is the Arumajiro barreling through a line of Legionaires on the assult towards Esters position, litterally running them over. The .50 Cal Gattling gun roars, thowing empty rounds as it burps up it's hell fire of hot and poisoness lead. It stops a moment, and then several BMG missles are launches towards the tree line, lighting it up with an explosion. Despite the rain, the forest catches fire, that's how hot the Ammo was.

Kyoshiro literally jumps into the air as he throws himself into the remaining deciples, picking out the closes one to him. His blade smashes down into the middle of the Deciples head, cracking it as if it were an Ax to a melon. Safe to say that guy is dead. As he rips his blade from the deciple and Willow Arrives. He dosn't makes any witty comments about her finally showing up to the party. He's too far gone for that. He lets out another raging horrid should and he swings wide at another Deciples, cutting into his armor some. He's alive. Kyo presses he attack as the other 6 now join in as one is occupied with Willow. <English>

People fall around her, som becoming tangled in a mass of Churara and Legionaires. Legionaires also all, letting out cries of pain as ther life force ebbs from their forms. Esther is a whirlwind of blade, slicing and causing a mess of macabre proportions. She is distracted in mortal combat with someone in front of her, her back becoming exposed. The rifle goes off and suddenly, Esther is thrown forward in a spiraling spin as the armor piercing projectile crunches through the armor plating on her form. She lands with a splash into a puddle of mud and muck, crying out sharply briefly before able to recompose herself. Her men make a circle around her, protecting her and continuiing the fight.

Men continue to fall on both sides. Blood mingles with water and earth. Cries of agony are drowned out by the sounds of torrential rain and rowdy thunder. In the end there are only two of Esther's men standing. The battle on this side is won, but at heavy cost. If it weren't for the men inside the Arumajiro, many Legionaires would have been free to turn and assault either the ship or Kyoshiro. However, they are dead now, thanks to combined efforts. <English>

Zank crashes into the legionarie with a thud. He sits up as fast as he can more brawling than ninja fighting like a lot of the others. He style one of pure blunt force. The pistol becomes a blunt object and it smashes into the Soliders head and then Zank points the large caliber undershot gun right at the mans ribs and pulls the trigger. the point blank slug rips into the man. Zank has already moved on and is standing looking to Esther's men. He shouts and in his best yet broken Romani says something along the lines of "make a hole or get the f out of my way" Zank moves between the parted men comeing to Esther's side. He moves to turn her over "come on war ant over mei mei" he says looking her for signs of injury. "Kyo needs some help...an you ant doing me no good being all lazy" he says. He looks up and takes another pot shot at a Legionnaire as they fall back from the tank. "Like the valley all over again" he mutters <English>

Tending to those around her, Tara feels the raw, dragging power of the darkness around them. There is pain. While her heart hurts, while anger kicks within minds, while people fight to live and the live grieve the dead, thiS redhead keeps her stance now. A man at her feet is dead. For a second her delicate hand is placed on his heart, giving a silent prayer for his spirit. Then, Tara stands, and in her typical graceful way, heads to Octavia, with her bright blue eyes looking to Kyo, Esther, Zank, Fao, and Amen on the way. She is of little use with a weapon, but perhaps there is something else.

A step away from Octavia, her hand out, offering it to the older woman. "U - use me." Her warm tone is soft against the horrors around them, as she offers herself to help withthwie grief. "Pl - please." The hand extends a little more, gently pressing that she is willing, totally willing and wanting to do this. <English>

This is a battle to save the 'Verse. A battle of good versus evil. And for a long time, it seems neither side holds any sway over the other. Legionnaires die, Churara die, Disciples die, and the girls die. So many lives, lost. Surrendered, sacrificed for what they believe in.

Octavia reaches out to draw closer the three girls who are with her. And suddenly, the four of them give a keening sort of cry, sorrow and loss audible in it to those who might hear it. Something, it seems, has likely happened, but what and where is anyone's guess at all. Reaching out, Octavia takes Tara's hand as it's offered, giving it a squeeze that tries to be gentle but might be a touch borderline. And though it takes a significant effort on her part to be able do to so, she makes a mental link with Tara. The calm held there is a sort of balm to it all, and within moments she draws the other three girls into the link as well.

Willow had been a part of the battle since both she and Zank arrived, she had just been devoting energy to thinning out the Legionnaires and wreaking other less noticeable havoc. She continues to fight with the Disciple she chose, who also wields two katanas. She takes injuries in addition to those she already has, and she dishes them out. Yet her fight is interrupted with a pair of Legionnaires that press from one side, and so she's caught in having to defend against the Disciple and kill the lesser minions at the same time.

There is a loud cracking boom of thunder, nigh deafening in volume, reverberating across the plains. There's a sudden flash of hailstones to pelt everyone without care for what side their on. And then there's a brilliantly white flash of lightning that seems to rise up from the elevated portion of the battleground. And in that illuminated moment, it would seem that Amenadiel and the Night Angel make similar attacks on each other. It seems to happen in slow motion, perhaps. Swords slide through armor, cloth, flesh, and bone, then extend out the other side of a body. Blood dribbling down the blade, falling to the ground. Then there's a slight twist of the blades before realization strikes that neither one will survive this, no matter what their armies might have done. The Night Angel falls to her knees, thento the ground, though Amenadiel is only a moment away from doing the same. <English>

Kyoshiro presses the attack once more on the Deciple he had only maned to wound before. He brings his blade down again, breaking the others from the Tsuka and blowing the sharp edge into him for a fatal blow. Glowing red eyes then glance to the next Legionaire, he or she who makes their next attack on Kyo recieve a quick and deadly jab though the throat. There's just really no comming back from that. 4 to go. Kyo dosn't seem to have notice Amen and the Night Angel at a draw. <English>

McGuire's head rings, the sudden down pour of hail strikes his head and body, driving him to his knees. He looks up, just in time to pull his side arm and fire at the on rush of Legionairs moving to the ship and the girls. Three rounds and he forces himself up to force run towards the small band of enemy. He has not thought of his own, for himself. Only the end to all this madness. His powerful weapon fires off again as he yells out a battle cry and rushes into the fray. He can't save all the girls, that is already perfectly clear in his mind, but he was damn sure he would take out those that would see the rest of them gone. Again the weapon goes off, his leg about gives out on him as he sloshes through the mug and water and hail. One last effort, he follows Kyo's lead and leaps at the few left standing and knocks them down. A sharp object slices through his armor and cuts into his side near the belt. He rolls to the side, the weapon goes off again and again, aimed at those he rushed. His face and body being beaten by the hail striking everyone without care. His side errupts in pain and he loses the ability to rise up again. Gun in hand, he empties the clip. <English>

Esther groans slightly as sheis rolled over. She turns her face to look at Zank as the rain splatters across her features to wash away the muck. "You go ahead.. I'll catch up. I just.. I need a moment.." Her voice is strained, quiet. She glances to the last two men, then to Zank. A bloodied hand is lifted and she pats his cheek. She can feel herself growing weaker, "Maybe not. Send my love to everyone. Do not weep, for it is destiny. Those that live by the sword will die by it." The last words are barely audible. "Go.. go help him..." She whispers. Her hand slips from his cheek, leaving a streak of red as darkness rushes in and Esther falls limp in his arms as her final breath escapes to the heavens. <English>

Zank blinks and freezes for a second as his friend dies in front of him. it's happened many time in his life. He grabs her hand and closes his eyes a second. He takes a breath and then leans in and kisses Esther's wet forehead. He says nothing and stands and then catchs the Jianms shape in the flash of lighting and as the hail starts he moves that way weapon ready rage in his eyes. "come with me" he says to Esther men. He races to help defend the Jia looking for Kyo and Fao. <English>

Tara grips onto Octavia's hand, though her tough is firm, skin is soft. Still, there is that sense of grief. Closing her eyes briefly not to push it away but too left it flow over her. "I - I must nor f - fear, fear is th - tha mind killer." Her mantra is said over a few times, to help her keep her composure.

At last eyes open again, she remains as that needed wall, but also takes in the others. So much horror. As those eyes move about they befall Amem and widen. The redhead blinks a few times, thn tugs Octavia in, watching the fighting as best she can around going to whisper something in her ear. <English>

Injured herself, from various pockets of fighting that she's been seeing to, Oksana materializes out of the dim light and hail and fog near to Fao. The rest of the Legionnaires that were pinning him down, are silenced. Leaning down, she carefully slips an arm around him to help him up to his feet. "I won't let you die yet, my friend. You're not allowed, and it is not your time," she says softly, giving him a brief smile.

Huddled at the Jia is where Octavia and three of the girls are. Llewelyn, Abigale, and Sarah Jade. They're trying hard to keep their heads down and stay out of the fighting. The only one of them with skill at using weapons is Llewelyn, and she's a bit caught up in the mental anguish that all of them are suffering.

The Night Angel breathes her last, her blood soaking into the ground and her life leaving her. Amenadiel life lingers for longer. He manages a look across the battlefield, then towards the Jia and the remaining girls. He knows which live, and which have tied, but there's no one for him to tell. He's dying, and he knows it.

Willow finishes with her Disciple, as well as the two interfering Legionnaires. She takes a moment, lifting a hand to wipe blood from her face. Then she starts towards the next Disciple along, though with the slick ground it makes footing challenging. The hail certainly didn't help. <English>

McGuire feels the tug lifting him up, the familar voice calming him from the outburst of the battle. The numbness that helped drive him through this fades and his body screams out in pain. He has one leg that wont work, his head rings as blood drips from his ear, his side burns as the stab wound flares as it stretches in the moving. He can't talk. His breathing is harsh and he thinks a lung has collaped. He lets her carry him where ever it is she is carrying him. He, for the first time in his life, forgot where he parked. <English>

Kyoshiro is basically using his weapon one handed for the entire moment. He's not worried that that battle is drawing to a close. He's simply there in combat and all he know is that he must kill everyone in front of him as brutally as possible. He is anware at the loss of Esther at this time. He stands there with his opponants taking a moment. The Hail did not bother him. HE was iven condition training as a child and later. His eyes glow bright. If Fao can see through the rain, something appears behind him. An Apperation, a familiar one. Long hair, a women, slender and short. Then she whisks away as Kyo utters the words. "Mizuchi..." Lighting flashes and in what seems like the quickest two seconds, three of the Legionaires fall clasping fresh and deep wounds. "You heard it too, The voice of the wind..." One left, he stals forwards and instead o using his blade, reaches out with his hand trying to grab their throat. However, he trips and falls on a slippery part of the hill. He recovers though and presses forward to the final Deciple. <English>

Tara is quiet, concentrated. Gaze is distant, as time goes more sorrow fills her eyes even though she tries to remain calm. In a sense, it's like watching ones heart break, among the already broken pieces under this storm <English>

Zank escorts Esther body to the Jia. He has he Solider put her inside the ship and cover her. As soon as it's done Zank turns and looks at the battlefield at his crew, the girls. He takes a breath and pulls back the hammer on his pistol. Reloads the shotgun chamber and moves into the battle again. He picks a fight with whom ever is left or to stupid to die or run away. The gunslinger hip fires and fans the hammer as some run away and others fight. He shoots legionnaires at his feet who are crying for mercy or screaming in pain. He steps on a neck till the squirming stops on another. He poisons another with the legionnaires own blade and leaves him to die slowly. Some that have lost limbs he leaves to bleed out. He is indiscriminate with his methods of execution. One legionnaire who seemed to have patched himself up looks at Zank as he walks past. Zank seems to have missed him until Zank stop and turns looking at the man. There is a long second between them before Zank puts a bullet in the mans forehead. <English>

Oksana doesn't even pause as she reaches the Jia with Fao. She just half carries him right on up the ramp and to the medbay directly. That sight startles Octavia and the three girls, who trail their way up onto the ship in the wake of them. Between them all, they manage to get Fao's injuries examined and then start tending to him.

Before Kyoshiro is able to reach the last Disciple, the man draws a pistol. And perhaps unpredictably, he uses it to kill himself rather than face either the red-eyed man or the red-headed woman on her way.

The dark of the clouds starts to ease, the rain stops falling. As Amenadiel breathes his last, the clouds part, and there's a small ray of light that falls upon his dead body. Then the clouds start to break up further, letting the daylight come. The battle, it seems, is won. But at what cost? The tally has yet to be made. But the Disciples are all dead, and there are very few Legionnaires left. <English>

"No... no... I wanted to rip your THROAT OUT YOU STUPID FUCK." Kyoshiro growls as the last Deciple who kills himself. He looks around, staggering a bit, his breathing rapid and harsh as adrenaline and what ever else that Tycho gene pumps through him. There's noone left to kill, no threat and so... the switch is turned off. Slowly those long strands of red hair fall out. THey drop faster and faster. Kyo's eye's go back into his head and he falls face first into the ground. THe soppy wet ground slapping loudly with the dead weight of the 300 pound man. He needed to sleep it off. <English>

Zank stalks the field a monument longer but comes over to Kyo as he collapses. "Kyo" he says worried he's lost another friend. Seeing the man breathing puts him at ease. He's 300 pounds no way he's moving him alone. He turns the man over so he dosnt drowned and find anyone left to drag his heavy ass back to his home. He stands looking for Willow. A sinking feeling hits his gut as he realizes he might have lost her to. <English>

McGuire passes out. He swears he can see Cara, his first wife, softly talking to him in an unintelligable tone. He doesn't know where he is or how things turned out. He's a wreck for as little fighting that he's done. The old man pushed farther then he ever though he could be pushed. Darkness fills his mind and his being. If it wasn't for the medbed, he would be breathing. Gone to the 'verse, he isn't going to be the same if he lives through this. <English>

Tara, is still. Eyes to the sky, as the clouds part, how things shift, there feels like a hole inside of her. Something is said in Gaelic, like a prayer, meanwhile some tears fall down her cheeks. <English>
