Either straight through the Hallway and into the dining room, or the door way from the Study that lead into the open Kitchen of this room, this is clearly the first largest room on the first floor of the house. Resting on hard wood is a dining table, capable of seating four but has folding sides that can stretch out if more company comes. On the ceiling is a chandelier that hands over the table, lighting this section of the room. There is also a wooden and glass China Case housing some of the more expensive silverware, bowls, and plates. There is a prep counter that cuts off the dining room from the kitchen as well as a change in flooring. Tiled for ease in cleaning this kitchen is not your ordinary house hold kitchen. It has everything, literally everything a cook would need to make any meal or dish. Pots and Pans hang from a rack above the prep station. Against the back wall there is a large double door oven powered by gas as well as the multiple stop stove next to it. There is a flat and ribbed grill on the other side of the large sink that separates the four different units. The deep fryer is a little separated from the rest of the equipment to prevent spill over. There is a large metal fridge and freezer, cabinets and draws hold all sorts of accoutrements and canned or dried food stuffs. In the Dinning Room are there is a sliding glass door leading back outside.

It's Murasaki's birthday. Kyo and Oli's little dark haired girl with wide violet eyes sits in a high chair at the dinning table in the Kitchen combo room at the back of the house. The weather outside is starting to get cold but it is not yet fall. A nice 70 degrees or so, the windows are open and so is the screen door leading outback to the deck. Outside, Kyo is firing up the grill, getting ready to cook hamburgers and hotdogs like Dad's do at an end of Summer type event. There is a banner in the kitchen that reads HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Of course there are balloons and other such things. Late in the afternoon, the sun is already starting to set over the lake. <English>
Zank parks the MULE taking a second to look out over the lake. He smiles gentaly and gets off the Mule walking up behind Danee waiting to here a response from inside. He speaks to himself "Nice place..." <English>
Doc follows Danee around the house and once in the backyard Doc sees Kyo, "Mibu!....howdy....Thanks fer tha invite...got a little present fer Murasaki when the times raght..." Doc watches Danee move into the house, "Mmmm...smells good." <English>
Kyoshiro looks up from the grill as he runs a brush across the grate. "Of course Lady McGuire..." He says to her, waving her into the propert. "Come on inside... It'll get cold before long I think. Getting close to Fall here." He nods to Zank, "Thank you Mr. Lines... We designed it ourself... and it cost quite a bit off the main cabins. Those lots were fall too small for us." He then raises a brow at Doc, "Oh? Well after we eat and have the Cake. That sounds like a good time as Any." He steps into the Kitchen to check on Mura. <English>
Danee moves through the screen door and into the kitchen. "Have you any hot tea" then she spies The baby and can't help the smile and the twinge of envy. <English>
Zank nods at Kyo and smiles at the baby sitting in her high chair. He then looks around the place "Its great Kyo...if I ever decied t' stop travelin the verse an settel in it would be in a place like this" though with his love for the black thats unlikley. <English>
It is at this time that Conoger arrives walking around the house. Like usual he is wearing his armor and his pretty little axe and shield. Though he stops just around the corner to look back . " Helena, I think this is the place, can smell the food." <English>
Helena comes with Conoger wearing a sun dress and sandles for the party. Just an enjoyable day at a BBQ for the companion and very little trace of her occupation about her. She is carrying a wrapped present in a bag in one hand. She has met most of these people only casually through the Aces thus far. "I think I can hear some familiar voices as well." <English>
Kyoshiro kisses Mura on the top of her head before nodding to Danee, "Aye there is some tea... I'll get it for you..." He moves over to the sink and puts some hot water on the stove in a kettel. As he does this he spot Conoger and Helena outside. The window is open so Kyo gives a shout, "Thor... Come on in... Hamburgers and Hot Dogs will be up soon..." He nods to the Companion, "Ma'am... thanks for coming." Well... at least this was as good as any family to surround Mura with if not odd and mismatched sort of rouges that they were. He looks to Zank with his cold red stare. "I don't have a feeling you and the word settle mix too well, Mr. Lines." <English>
Annie makes her way across Persephone, surprised by the last-minute invitation, but pleased to have received it. The lake throws her for a loop, as if the 'verse perhaps is mocking her, but she gives the shore a wide berth as she finds the right house, knocking on the door-frame and calling out a loud, "Hello?" before following the chatter of voices into the kitchen. There's a small package in her hand, a box wrapped in simple brown paper and tied with a scrap of red string, and she lingers for a moment in the kitchen doorway as she takes a quiet look around. <English>
Stepping into the kitchen is Oliana, she is dressed in a pretty outfit, a cheogasm dress of sapphire blue, with golden flowers running along the bottom hem and sweeping upwards towards the neck at the side. Her slippers are silk in the same shade of blue. She smiles as she sees the group here and she inclines her head, "Thank you all for coming, this is a memorable day for us, and for Murasuki." <English>
Danee turns and smiles at everyone moving to take a seat at the table. she wiggles her fingers at the little one. "Hello, happy birthday' she says to her. She looks up at Oliana and nods, "LOve your dress." <English>
Doc comes in from the backyard now and sets a package on the table with some other packages. He walks over to Murasaki and kisses her head on the top, "Happy birthday youngstah." He smiles at everyone, "Hello ta ya ahll's....fine day fer a pahty ain't it?" <English>
Jisae arrives wearing a vibrant blue dress with a black belt. Her hair is pulled back into a single braid. If she has guns or armor present, it's hard to tell. She carries two boxes, one that is a pink color and another that is white with a yellow bow. She smiles at everyone and sets the gifts down. She walks over to Zank and kisses his cheek lightly in greeting. All she says is, "Hi." <English>
Conoger nods to Helena and then grins as he hears Kyo shouting through the window. " Oh GREAT!! I am hungry." Then he motions for Helena to follow him on in, though he hears someone else saying Hello and he stops and looks, then he grins. " Annie, good ta see ya again." Thoguh by now he is walking in, though he is heading straight to the burgers. He stops and waits. " Nice place." Then looks back at the people. His eyes fall on each and everyone of them, nodding to each, smiling to most and he goes quiet. Most times he simply watches and then looks around some then. " So, where is the scotch?" <English>
Zank grins at Kyo at his responds to his museing of settling down "Your probably right bout that Kyo." he says with a small chuckles. He smiles gentaly at Oli as she enters "Thank for havin us wouldnt miss this for the worlds" he says. When Jisae enters with her gifts he smiles at her and returns with a kiss to her own cheek "Hey you" he says "Your aunt doin alright?" he asks. He notices Annie arrive and he smiles and nods at her in greeting along with the others as they arrive. He relaxes enjoying the company of his family. <English>
Helena offers waves of greeting as they enter the main room, a bright smile upon her lips as she sees some familiar faces. She sets down the gift bag near the other gifts as she joins Conoger near the BBQ as he goes out hunting food. Ah her Caveman. There is a wave to Annie as Conoger greets her, "How are you settling in with the Jia?" She asks warmly for the woman. <English>
Kyoshiro nods to Doc and is busy pouring Danee's tea. He gives her the cup on a saucer before looking over to Annie, "Miss Belle. Thank you for comming. It's important that Mura be surounded by friendly faces on such an occassion." He looks to Jisae, "Oh I wasn't sure you would be able to make it. Good that you're here..." He walks over to Oliana who's entered and kisses her cheek before moving out to the grill to put Hambergers and Hot Dogs on plates and bring them inside for the others to grab for themselves. "Beer is in the fridge..." He says to Doc and Jisae mostly before looking to Conoger, "And there is some whiskey in the cupboard..." Then... there is a knock at the door in the front and Kyo raises an eyebrow. Everyone was here, well except Sink, but he didn't expect the man to come if he was too busy. So he walks down the main hall to investigate. <English>
Annie lingers in the doorway, almost nervously, watching the baby girl as if she's not entirely sure how to cope with the child. Thankfully, it's likely a crowded enough spot that no one notices. She waves to Zank's nod, and then turns as Con tells her hello, frowning a bit as she hears him actually use her name, the look on her face rather obvious that she's wondering if she's somehow pissed him off, though she does return the greeting, "Hey, Ishy," and then follows it up with another as Helena comes in behind him, "Hi, Lena. It's more settling in off the Jia... Finally back with the Angel. And well, jury's still out on how that is, I think." Finally, she moves out of the way of the doorway, entering the kitchen proper and adding her small box to the pile of presents as she tells Kyoshiro, "You're welcome. Thanks for inviting me. It was really kind of you." <English>
Oliana gives a smile to Kyo as he goes to answer the door and then turns to Danee, "Well thank you, my house keeper picked it out for me, she always did have a knack for my clothing, I don't know how I survived med school without her." She moves over to the baby who is now pointing to Doc and babbling happy at him. She leans in and kisses the little violet eyed girl who seems to be doing a lot better in the crowd then most children, she's such a little ham. "Is everyone comfortable? Can I get anyone anything?" <English>
Danee accepts the cup and saucer. She takes a sip and smiles at the others as they enter. She makes herself comfortable as she listens to the others. <English>
Doc smiles at Oliana and hears Kyo say where the beer is so he's off to the fidge and takes out his second favorite drink. He pops the top and says, "It's finally good ta beh with ya ahll...without lead flyin ahll ovah tha place....ya looks maghty handsome Oliana.." Doc raises his beer to her and then sips. <English>
Conoger can smell the food been ready and then as Kyo mentions whsikey, he heistates but then nods. " I'll be right back, need some thing to drink." preferably alcohol. So he does nod, smile to all he passes and looks to the cupboard. Opening it up he grins and gets the whiskey and grabs a glass and then slowly pours himself a glass. Now lookign aorund and wondering if anyone would like some, though that be less for him. <English>
Jisae smiles at Zank and gives a light nod, "She's a little better. She even..." And then she murmurs something that is only for his ears. Her violet eyes seem to shine a bit. She smirks at Kyoshiro, "Thank you for inviting me, Kyo-san. I'm glad I was able to make it. I have often thought your daughter was lovely. Even if I haven't said it." She heads to the fridge and picks up some beers for herself and Zank. <English>
Zank smiles as Jisae whispers. He nods to her "Well thats shiney. Im glad she doin better an that ya got t' see her" he says. As she heads off to get some drinks. He gives the birthday girl some attention as she babbels in her seat in obvious delight. He walks over and tickels her belly some "Why ant you the happyiest little birthday girl in the verse" he says. He smiles at the little one then moves to find himself a seat. <English>
Helena looks over to the girl, smiling as she watches the girl's excitement for the day. There is a curious look in her eyes before she gives her head a little shake and looks back to Annie. "Well I hope you find a home that speaks to your heart soon." She offers softly to the woman. "It can sometimes find some time to find your footing, but give them a chance." She says before looking over to where Conoger is getting something to drink and raises a hand to indicate she will take one. Opening the front door Kyoshiro pauses, a general look of complete surprise on his face. It took quite a bit to make Kyo do something like that. However, the 6ft 7in man with long blond spikes of hair standing before him on the porch causes Kyo to have to look up at him. He wears a pair of what seem to be Beatnik sunglasses with jagged holders that slide into his ears. He wears a long Blood Red double breasted overcoat and long black gloves with brass rings on the knuckles. "Va..." Kyoshiro starts to say but can't quite finish his sentence. Suddenly a small woman with short black hair and hooped gold earrings peeks out from around the tall blond man's back. She is smiling wide and holding a wrapped present with two hand. The man, who was looking serious before now has a big goofey smile on his face and his hands outstretched wide. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!" The both say in unison before giggling... Kyo blinks, stunned... "What?"
The man in red and his lady friend move past Kyo and towards the kitchen, inviting them selves in. The tall man pats Kyo on the shoulder, "Thanks for inviting us old buddy..." Kyo responds as he stares out the now empty door, "I didn't..." Now he's just confused. The man in red and his lady friend enter the kitchen. "Hello everyone!" The man in red says, holding up his right hand into a peace sign. He looks friendly, but there is a rather seriously large custom .45 Longcolt strapped to his hip. The small women is already moving to place the present down at the present table and move over to Mura to doot over her. "Oh my god, she's so cute!" She says to Oli... <English>
Annie opens her mouth to explain to Helena that she's found her home, that part's a certainty. It's the family to fill it that seems to have gone missing. But then the baby is laughing at tickles and babbling at the 'verse, and she rethinks that choice, nodding a little and answering instead, "Thanks." Some things just aren't topics for parties. Of course, there are also certain PEOPLE who aren't proper topics for parties, either. Particularly for a children's party. And the minute Annie spies the two heading in, she's no longer shy about being in the kitchen. She doesn't draw a weapon in the crowded room, but with the instincts as if she were the baby's mother herself, Annie is darting across the room, doing all she can to bodily insert herself between Mura and the woman wanting to dote. <English>
Oliana blinks as two strangers enter, the big man and the woman, she gently reaches for the girl and lifts her from her seat and places the violet eyed child on her hip, "Hello, welcome to our home." She looks down the Hall to Kyoshiro and back to the new comers, "Would you like a cup of tea? I think a pot was just made." <English>
Danee stands at the arrival. As the woman approaches Mura Danee smiles at her. Then placing her palms together she bows most formally . "Hello" she says to the woman. to the man she just looks her smile one of genuine pleasure. "I have heard of you. Dinner will be served in a bit. I am so glad you have come." the invitation may not have been sent but Danee is strange. <English>
Doc looks as he sips his beer and sees the giant of a man and his woman. He lowers his beer and was about to set it down and get between this large man and murasaki....but he sees Oliana pick up her child and then hears Danee's word's to the man....he hesitates....then stops..backs off as apparently this person is known to others. Doc moves back now and retrieves his beer..but remains vigilent. <English>
The door muffles a man's voice, "Stay Sweetie. No girl. Sit and be good.". There's a little bark, and a whimper, then a knock on the door, and Sink peers inside, "Hello!", he calls out, without waiting to be let in. As he sees folks gathered, he waves and makes his way inside with a wicker basket filled with sticks of dried meat, cheeses, and a rectangular gift, wrapped in dancing bear wrapping paper. He gives everyone a wide smile, but looks back through the door to the german shepard lab cross, and says once more before closing the door, "Stay girl." <English>
Jisae nods to Zank. She opens her bottle of beer and takes a sip. She watches Zank tickle the baby girl, but her gaze moves to the strangers as they enter. Her forehead wrinkles as she looks at the new people with a curious look. She looks between Kyo-san and the tall guy, silently sizing them up. She remained observant as she sips her beer. She looks to another new person as they enter the house. She waves silently. <English>
Conoger looks towards helena as she waves to him and then nods as he is about to pour a drink for her. It is then that new people come in and he spots the man and the girl. Movements from Annie and then Oliana as she picks up her baby and welcomes the guests. He looks at everyone elses reaction and then hears Danee, confirming what he knows he finishes pouring the drink and then starts to head back to Helena. It is then that Sink enters and he nods to the man. " Oh hell, you again." he nods to the man, smiling. " Hows Calira?" Then he passes by the big man with the hair and nods to him. " I'll take a look outside." then he does do that, he heads outside as he hands Helena the drink. " Now, this is a party." as he starts to look around some. <English>
Zank smiles and then looks up as the the new arrivals present themselves. For a second he's speechless then a small grin forms across his lips and he shakes his head. Sure why not have one of the most wanted men in the verse at birthday party what could go wrong. He is slightly annoyed but hides it well. His head peeks around the large man too look at Kyo down the hall way with a raised wrong with that 'Really?' look on his face. Along with a fair amount of confusion. He is more on guard now and a little stiffer. <English>
Helena looks curiously at Annie as she notes the change in her temperment at the arrival of the two guests. She may not have instincts for street people, but catching that nervousness causes her to look up at least. Her gaze flickers across the room to see if anyone else has been unsettled by the new arrivals. She is quite used to a variety of types being aboard the ships and not knowing all of them. Indeed her gaze flickers over to Conoger to guage him instead. Seeing him relaxed she relaxes once more and takes the the drink he passes to her. "Interesting party indeed." She says as she takes a sip of her drink and walks with Conoger. <English>
Meryl, the short black haired women steps back and blinks as Annie gets in the way of the baby. "Oh sorry... um..." She looks down as if she's done something wrong before putting on a smile for Danee. She moves up to the women and takes her hands in her own. "Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Meryl Stryfe..."
The tall man in the red overcoat on the other hand is still standing there in the kitchen with a stupid smile on his face holding a peace sign up. Though as the others size him up he places a hand behind his head and looks nervous... "Ah... Hi I'm Vash... Old friend of Kyo's..." And down the hall comes Kyoshiro grumbling as he finally makes his way back to the kitchen from answering the door. He looks back to see Sink there and he waves to the man, "Hello Mr. Fist... come on in. Hamburgers and Hotdogs are up... you can bring your pet." One he enters the kitchen again, "No one panic... this guy, despite his tough looks, couldn't hurt a fly despite his reputation. He's just a clumsy..." He shakes his head and moves over to the fridge to take out the Cake and stuff just to start preparing it once everyone was done eating. "How in the heck did you track me down, Vash?" The red eye man asks.
"Oh, wasn't that hard..." Vash responds, "Easy to find a man with red eyes, no?" Kyoshiro grumbles as Vash continues. "And you have to report your buying or property in a publication by law... so yeah..."
Shaking his head, the crimson eyed cook looks over him, "Well thanks for coming... Not too many people I like to see from the old days." <English>
Annie eyes Meryl suspiciously, and the look she shoots to Vash is pure poison. But it's not her home. It's not her party. And despite the look she gives to Maru as she forces herself to step away from Oliana and her child, it's not her baby. So when Kyo makes clear that these 'guests' are welcome, Annie moves out of the way. She heads for the door, murmuring somewhat softly, "Going to take a lap outside with Fishy." <English>
Danee smiles at Meryl, "I know. I was looking forward to meeting you. I am sorry that " she stops and moves back please sit with me and have tea?" she looks at Oliana and smiles, "The baby is in no danger no matter what others might think." and that is all she says on the subject. "You are no longer in teh alliance?" she asks Meryl and she sits and offers her a cup of tea. <English>
Doc sips his beer...then turns his head and sees Sink, "Whell ah'll beh darned......whee seems ta meets up at the most unusual places fer varying reasons mah dear friend....whee could o used ya last week..buht we'll talks about thaat latah...it's ahlwhays good ta sees ya..." Then Doc looks at and makes eye contact with ole 'red eyes, "These...ah...new guests of yers?...they's friends are they?" <English>
Oliana gives a nod to Danee, and says softly, "As you say." The doctor puts down the babe and looks over to Meryl and then to Vash, then her attention is on Kyoshiro and she raises a golden eyebrow at him before she greets Sink, "Thank you for comming, please come in, and have a drink." <English>
Sink turns to Conoger and returns his smile, "Yes, me again. No matter how hard I try the Black won't take me back. Good to see you haven't become one with the void yourself. Cal...", Sink give a half shrug, "She's well. Who ever was messing with her, has taken a break, for now. She still has... other issues, but she's working through those." Then nods to Kyoshiro, "Thank you for the invite. I have brought some of my best salami and cheese, and a little gift for the little one." He puts the basket down on a counter, then shakes his head, "Sweetie would get too excited with all these people. She'll be good outside, thanks." When Docs greets him, Sink moves his way, and raises an eyebrow, "Last week? Well I can't wait to hear it. I could have used your steady aim a few weeks ago in Eavesdown, but that's a story to tell after I hear yours. As for this being unusual... Lirin and I just live a few doors down, not so unusual as you might expect. No matter where we meet it's good to see you as well, old friend." Sink then turns to Oliana and nods, "Thank you. If you could point me to something non-alcoholic that would be wonderful." <English>
Conoger nods to Sinks words, simply looking a bit distant for the moment. Though as he hands the drink to Helena and they start to walk around a bit he hears Annie come along as well. " Well, seems Kyo has some interesting friends. Though I ain't sure if it's good or bad." as he speaks to both women. " Oh and I'll be taking a walk about, keeps the ears and the eyes open. Always troubles when they around, none really their fault, just the bounty on thier heads is all." yup, he has no qualms about talking. Finaly he gets a drink in him and continue to walk. <English>
Zank moves to take his seat just staying quiet as he dose when everyone is talking. He nods to Sink now relaizeing the man is there and smirks turning away from the two arriavls and takeing a seat. Jisae joins him not long after. Both seem to watch the new arrivals. Weither Zank has met these two in the past is hard to tell but if he has he keeps it to him self. he whispers something Jisae and raises an eyebrow her self and nods in understanding. She dose seem to relax a but as dose Zank after a moument. They go back to enjoying the party if not weary of the two highely wanted people there...but then again Zanks been wanted in his day just not even for 1% of what there worth though. <English>
Helena lifts a hand to wave to Sink as he arrives, a familiar face amongst all those new faces here. She is looking casual in a sundress today and standing near a viking. "How are you doing Mr. Fist?" She asks of him with a familiarity to her question. She looks back to Conoger at his words and glances to the two guests again. "Alright then." She says softly to him, a hand going to his arm briefly. "As long as you think all is good..try to stay out of trouble." She says with a wink for the man. <English>
"No..." Meryl responds to Danee strangely, "Have we met before?" She watches Annie move off with Conoger, looking a little hurt by the look she is giving her husband. Her attention moves back to Danee, "We left long before Kyo did... right after the end of the war. It took Kyo a little longer to become..."
"Unconditioned..." Vash finishes the sentence and Kyo gives him a dirty look. Vash steps forward, leaning his hands on the counter as he looks at Kyo. "We know you want nothing to do with the past but that past seemingly wants everything to do with you." Vash looks very serious now.
Kyoshiro raises a brow, "What do you mean?"
"It's Alucard..."
"Alucard? I thought they locked him away after Du Kahn..." Kyoshiro says...
"He's out now... owns himself some sort of Defense R&D company out on the rim. Trying to get a hot contract with the Alliance."
"Doing what? He was never good at that... He was always the crazy one who enjoyed killing far too much." Kyoshiro responds
"Genome Soldiers..."
"You mean Genetically Modified super Soldiers... isn't that illegal?"
"So is creating child soldiers..." Vash reminds him about their shared heritage
"Good Point..." Kyo concedes.
"Heard a rumor... that he was..." Vash leans in, "He's after you Kyo... He wants something from you and I'm not sure what, but he's coming."
Kyoshiro face falls and he seems to trail off into another world. In shock he seems to be. He looks to Mura, Oli, the others as they chat and eat and have a good time. From out in the woods in the back yard where Cono and Annie are there are sounds of something(s) moving around and stopping but they can't be seen. heuddenly in the house the power goes out bringing Kyo back to himself. He blinks, confused and Vash and Meryl look more worried then they were a moment ago. Suddenly the cortex monitor in the dining room turns on with nothing but static, loud and noisy... <English>
Annie followed Con out from the house, but never actually made it to actually checking things out. Not really. For the most part, she walked just far enough to see the lake's edge, and then simply stands there in silence, her hands in her pockets, staring out at the water, a frown on her face as she lets herself get lost into thought. <English>
Danee steps back until her back is against the wall. "Have you a celler? The innocent need to be hidden. Twenty are coming. Twenty are coming for you Kyo san. Twenty directed by a being who hates and is full of malice and violence." Her voice is much like Kyo's with emotion. For danee it is as if something else outside her is talking through her. "They do not care who they damage or hurt. They are coming for you." <English>
Doc sips his beer and focus's his attention on Kyo and his friends....he lsitens as Murasaki giggles and plays where she is amusing herself as a child would. Doc hears something about 'someone' being after Kyoshiro and that garners his attention even more. Doc looks at Vash and asks, "Should whee beh worried?...extremely worried....Kyo's after ahl ourah friend and confidant at times..none of us here would lt anythin hapen ta ourah dear friend." Doc looks at Danee as she speaks, and knowing Danee he knows what she says is no lie.So Doc says loudly, "Anyone not able ta uses a weapon ah suggests ya follah's Danee's warnin and git down in tha cellah...do it quickly..." Doc draws out his Colts and looks about to see where the main threat could be comming from..fact is he asks Danee, "Whar are they commin from Rosie?" <English>
Oliana blinks as the lights go out and she lifts her eyes upward, quickly she moves and she grabs Mura and hands her over to Sirawen, the house maid, "Guard her as you guarded me." With that she gives a nod and the red headed woman runs off holding the babe tight to get to a safe place in the house. "If any of you wish, Please follow Miss Sira, she'll lead you to safty." With that she stalks through the house, only to return shortly with a Bersa Thunder, which looks more ornamental, then anything else. <English>
Sink returns Zank's nod, then waves to Helena and smiles, "I'm well, and it's good...", and the lights go out, and it takes the end of Sink's sentence with it. There's a pause the Sweetie, Sink's dog just outside the door barks. Twice. Sweetie gets confused when playing fetch, and chases both real and imaginary squirrels all day, but she only barks at trouble. Danee's statements start Sink moving, bumping into nothing, an no one, he knees beside the door, and swings it open, just big enough to let the dog in, "In girl.", he whispers, and there's a pause before the german shepard comes in, and the door is closed again, and locked. The dog is taken by the collar, and moved through the house until Sira is found, "Go with her. Protect." And so Sweetie does. It's then Sink draws his hand cannon, and waits. <English>
Conoger always seems to find trouble, even if he ain't looking for it, since the two had shown up, for some odd reason he had a gut instinct that trouble may be coming. So here he was, looking around and he spots them, several by the look of them. Over the com and in a whisper. " Five left, right and south, stay safe." Then he starts to Sprint fast and he starts to yell loudly "ARRRRRRRRHHHHH!!" as he pulls out his shield and then his axe but then there is that darn branch that hooks his boot, exactly, preciscely that he did not notice it till it was too late. His roar is cut off, meaning gone, nothing else heard but the sounds of metal hittinf bark and dirt as well as cursing and ouches with grunts are echoing towards the path, then nothing. <English>
Helena is about to say something else to Sink when the lights go out. Her only thought at that point is to find Connie and she heads in the direction she saw him last. One of the hair sticks holding up her hair is drawn out and held in hand. Steel with a sharpened point, clearly more than ornamentation, but otherwise she is wearing no armour. She heads towards the door as she hears him yelling in the yard, but ends up crouching beside Sink as he locks the door she is about to go out of. "Connie and Annie are out there..." She whispers harshly. <English>
"Ooooohhhh a Reader... Kyo's and I's extra gene, to make the perfect soldier... never thought to have them be readers too..." Come a twisted and booming Core accented voice from the static monitor. "Breeding Age too... herm, I'll have to cross them between your daughter and some of her offspring when she is of age Kyo..." The tone seems mocking, "Oh where are my manners... My name is Allucard LaBerre', Kyoshiro's twin brother, and you're all going to die... save for the Reader and My dear niece..."
Kyoshiro looks pissed... if there is anything ever in the world that Kyo could look more of, it's pissed ad he walks up to yell at the monitor. "Alucard... we're not brothers..." Kyoshiro says, "What kind of nonsense is that. Leave us alone!"
Alucard responds, "But we are Kyo. We are brothers..."
"I checked it out, there's no record of that..."
"That's because I got there first... and deleted it... Your girl hasn't found out about the missing bits of Data yet? Too bad."
"Oh... and dear Sister in law... I'm sorry to take your child away from you... but your brothers do want you and your husband dead, they say Hi by the way... though I don't think I can kill my own blood.... I'll just have to incapacitate him..." Suddenly there is a high pitched squealing from the monitor and Kyo winces, screaming before collapsing to the ground and convulsing.... Then it stops, the monitor shutting off, and so does Kyo who is now unconscious, bleeding from the mouth, eyes, ears, and nose. Meryl runs to kneel beside him and Vash draws his Custom .45 Long Colt... "Yes..." He says to Doc, "We should be very worried..."
Outside a shuttle craft comes roaring over the lake and slows gradually untill it hovers just outside the balcony of Oli and Kyo's room... Ropes come down and men start to respell... 10 of them if you count. Their boots hitting the wooden balcony and clearing rooms can be heard in the kitchen muffled by the floors. Shots fire towards Conoger and Annabelle from the woods seemingly in every direction, especially as Conoger starts to charge them. The men in the woods are harder to count. Either right or left of the back yard, making there way to the house there are 5 on each side as Conoger said but none coming from the beach or front.
The men who entered upstairs seem to be busy clearing the top level of the house then suddenly they're coming down stairs. Some boots head into the living room/ Study and are going to come through there... others are coming right down the hallway. Surrounded... that's the name of the game. <English>
Annie is only a fringe member of this strange group, so as Con fills everyone in via com, she isn't a part of that loop. However, she definitely hears the clatter and clamor of his scream and the major crashing of dirt and metal, his unstoppable force coming to an abrupt end in the face of the immovable object of Persephone. Drawn from her reverie of lost thoughts by gunshots, her first thought is for his safety, knowing from the sound that he's gone down hard. She tries to draw out their attention, at the same time, trying to find a rock or a log or whatever cover the lakefront might offer as she draws two weapons, one from a holster at her thigh into her right hand, the other pulled by her left hand from a holster at her ankle. She catches a bullet in her shoulder, yes, THAT shoulder, thanks Fish. There's a sharp hiss of pain as she curses, and then Annie calls out, "Oi! Fishy! Keep away from the gorram can openers!" Stupid? Maybe. But if it draws the fire long enough for Con to find cover, it's worth it. She aims her weapons at the cabin's front door, determined that no one is getting inside until she's either out of breath, or out of bullets, whichever comes first. <English>
Danee just slides down the wall. And curls into a ball. It is not the threats that have her cowering it is the thought of that mind touching hers again. She works very hard to close off totally. <English>
The sound causes Oli to bring her shoulders up over her ears, watching Kyo collapse that brings her to her knees next to her husband, quickly she checks his pulse to see if he is still alive, all while listening to the braying of an ass, "Oh my brothers eh? Well they can kiss my ass and so can you." She looks to Doc and gives a nod, she turns to Danee, "Ma'am if you'd like you can go with Sira." With that the woman is on her feet, moving to take her first shots. <English>
Sink blinks twice to Helena, "They are out there? Jao Gao. Conoger can handle himself, if he doesn't go charging straight at them. I might need to give him a flank...". He moves back towards the door, and once again Sink is cut off, both in movement and in speech, as the battle field changes. He looks up to the second floor then follows them their sound, as they enter the Study, Sink fires off a shot from the Starshot, the large .50 bullet finding a home in a soft body, "Study covered.", he announces as he ducks behind cover. <English>
After his flop and roll, yeah thats it, his tactics to getting the attention of them worked. As luck would have it, his tactical flop and roll some how managed to help him not get shot. He aches a bit and he grunts some more but he once again starts to go. " Aye Chicken, you get shot, you owe me dinner." little does he know she is already shot. Then he is on the first guy, he seems to be shot already and looking rather soft and his axe slices right along his chest and carves his way through it's armor and then chest, killing him with one slice of hsi wiked axe. There is another near by and as he keeps his momentum going he rolls and then manages to slice one more long his arm, making it a pair. " Ever been skinned alive?" he grins and chuckles, his eyes glowing with excitement. <English>
"Can someone pass me a rifle or gun or something?" Helena whispers to those nearest her. Best she has right now is one of her throwning sticks. She didn't really think about arming up for a toddler's birthday party. One day she will learn. "Have you met Connie?" Helena asks to Sink's comment at Conoger. For now all she has is her hair spikes and so that is what she uses. She takes a breath and throws one at one the assailants coming down the stairs. <English>
Oliana removes another gun, from somewhere, God knos Kyo's got shit stashed here and there and slides it across the floor to Helena, this is when she is hit, it's an odd sensation, one she's never had to the displeasure to feel, with a cry she dodges the second shot coming from the study. <English> You paged Helena with 'Once you start shooting, they'll shoot at you.'
As Doc's bullets unsurprisingly find their marks, it causes the men there to stumble down the stairs from the impact as they move into the hall. None are dead but there's at least one who's in rough shape. Disoriented they fire back at Doc.
Outside is another story. Annies shots fly true, better then the ones flying towards her. One guy in particular ends up in pretty rough shape. He doesnt even see Conoger's Axe come ripping through him in an epic double team. That's 1 down, 19 to go. The rest of the men charge Conoger entering into a Melee, though the guy who he asks if he's ever been skinned is still crying out in pain unable to do much. Oliana tending to her husband as he lays there helpless, her bullet flies true striking the same man Sink did in the Study who falls to the ground with two large wounds in his chest, screaming for mommy. He's out of the fight but not dead, barely hanging onto precious life. The others in the study are perfectly healthy and fire back at the two shooting at them. 18 left. <English>
Annie's been angry at the world for a long time. And she's been angry at the lake for a good day or so now. And don't even get started on her anger at men. She's doing what she can to keep covered, but if it comes to taking a shot herself or getting a shot at them, well... She manages four more pulls of her trigger, aiming at heads with each, ready to put an end to this mess before it reaches the birthday girl. She doesn't know why they're here or who they are, but she knows there's a baby inside, and that makes it worth the slug that hits at her left hip as she sends another round of gunfire towards the party crashers. <English>
Doc moves back behind the wall by the staircase and sees the men he shot come rolling down the stairs. He fires off four more rounds at those men. "Someone covah meh while ah reloads..." That said Doc starts reloading both his colts. <English>
As a bullet turns wall into projectile dust just a finger's width from Sink's head, he turns to Helena, "Have I met Conoger? I could tell you stories that Conoger has forgotten himself.", he yells out, the noise of combat making him yell his reply. Sink then aims down to the study, and makes another large hole in another bad guy. He yells out, "Where's this yella LaBerre? Hiding in the back. Setup up and lets see if you can cache the cheque you mouth has been writing!" <English>
Conoger does not really go after the one that has not much else to do with his arm all sliced up. It is as others come in that he takes his stance (meanwhile the guy he injured gets his head blown off). Then he come in and attack him, Conoger has been training and he blocks the first attack, he pushes the man back and then ducks and brings his shield fast enough to block another attack fro mthe other fellow. It is here when the man exposes himself to be sliced along the neck by that wicked axe of Conogers, the man does not know he is dead at that moment. Using that same momentum Conoger throws his axe and it spins over it's self several times before it impales the other man in the face, from forehead to jaw and stuck deeply. At that impact the man flies back, dead and then at the same time the man he has sliced falls dead, his head rolling away from it's body. " COME ON!!!! GIVE ME A CHALLENGE!!!" <English>
Helena looks over to Oliana as the gun is slid her way. She may not have come dressed for 'this kind of party' but at least she isn't completely helpless in the face of it. She picks up the gun and quickly raises it to fire it at one of the intruders coming down the stairs. One that she already struck with her hair stick at least, but she misses with the shot. She remains crouched by the door near sink, less he moves. "I think we might have to talk later.." She comments, trying to sound calm but there is certainly an shaky edge to her voice. All the same she keeps her gun pointed towards the bad people! <English>
The men shooting at Annie seem to be the only ones making any head way... until the small women puts several, three in fact, well placed rounds down the range... Each one explodes into the head of the other... one zooms past one guy. Two are left fighting and they shoot back at Annie, but seeing three of their comrades die like that? It's turned their aim into complete bunk. Sink takes out one more of the intruding men in the study leaving three able bodies there, and Doc manages to blow the heads off of two fellows in the hallway... three there as well, more ragged then those in the study as Doc wares them down. Conoger is going toe to toe in a bloody rampage. Two left there, piss running down their pants as they point guns at him, still unable to fire because of their fear of the viking. <English>
Hersnnie's hurting, badly, and with her small frame, there's not a lot of blood she really can lose. But she's got surprise on her size, because much like the Spanish Inquisition, no one ever suspects the near-midget with the pretty hair to be the one to take their heads off. She ducks down to reload her weapons while Con has them distracted with his axe, and when she looks again, she only spots two of them. Aiming each of her guns, one to each man, she pulls off two rounds from each weapon, still aiming for heads, 'cause if she's waiting for them to bleed out, it might take her less time that it would take them. <English>
Doc knows there was one man still at the top of the stairs..when he apperas Doc shoots him in the head....then turns and leans over Sink and Helena and fires off three more rounds hitting three more asswipes just entering the study, who drop in thier tracks. "Sorrah Sink..ya looked liked ya could use some help.." <English>
Sink kills another one in the study, his aim steady. "LaBerre? You out there? Come on out!". Sink then looks up to Doc, "No worries. My fingers aren't as fast as yours. As long as the job gets done I'm good." <English>
So, Conoger is having fun and he is frustrated and pretty angry at the moment and as two more stand near him he yells loudly " ARRRRRRRRRHHHHHG!" Then he reaches up and brings out his katana and swings it. He misses the man, perhaps he was more concerned on hsi other swing as he pushes the blade through the other mans gut and then with that one hand holding it, cuts up along his chest and out along the side of his shoulder. Then he looks to the other man. " Tell me where to find your boss...may let ya live." he smiles wickedly then. <English>
Helena fires another shot towards the bad guys, whether its her nerves or what this just misses as well. All she can hope is that the shots she is firing is at least doing some help at distracting the bad folk from killing someone around here. Helena glances to Doc as he joins their little group huddled by the door, "Nice to see you here..." She says a bit shakily as she keeps her shaky aim on the men coming towards them. <English>
Oliana moves with Doc, and takes another shot, this again she drops a man, or woman depending God only knows what's in there. <English>
The Two men that are left turn and start to retreat. The shuttle craft that was hovering just above the house is now making its way back into the mountains disappearing quickly. There is one guy still alive, just barely hanging to life in the study. The same guy Sink shot first. Other than that everyone is dead and bleeding out on the ground. Some people have taken wounds, others havent. The power is still out but the danger seems to have subsided for now. To Sink call for Alucard, there is no response, only dead silence and the sound of the dead and dieing groaning. Vash stands from his crouched position behind the kitchenette. "He wouldn't be here... Sir..." Kyo is still very much unconcious. <English>
Normally, Annie would be hunting down the two retreaters, but fight now, she's just glad they're going. Her right arm throbs from the shoulder wound, and the bullet lodged in her hip does more or less keep the bleeding to just an ooze even if it does make trying to sit darned near impossible as she lays back against the stump she'd taken cover behind. She calls over across the lawn, "Fishy? Is the kid OK?" And then there's a slight pause as she adds, "Any chance that guy y'all call Doc actually is one? Or if he's not, can you at least find me a lot of scotch if I'm gonna have to do the stitching myself?" <English>
Oliana looks over to Kyo as they beat a retreat, she moves over to her husband, still bleeding, a bullet in her shoulder, "John? Can you do me a favor, and start rounding up all the wounded, if they can walk put them upstairs, I'll get to them soon. Mister Vash if you could help?" She reaches down and gently moves a bit of Kyo's hair out of the way, "And someone check on my daughter?" <English>

Conoger watches as they run with their tales between their legs and Conoger is yelling loudly towards them, cursing their mothers and their mothers mothers for birthing such cowards. He cleans his katana with a the flick of his wrist and then slides it back into it's sheath. Then he wlaks on over to retrieve hsi axe and pulls it off the dead mans face and cleans it off on the body some how. Then he starts to walk back towards Annies position. " Well, they are cowards, running like.."then he see's Annie and he moves quickly to her side. " Goram Chicken, learn to duck." he looks towards the House and then back to Annie. " Don't think they got the kid..." Over the coms then. " They are running but I need soemone out here, Chickens hurt." then he looks back to Annie. " You owe me dinner Chicken, told ya, you get shot.." he starts to look at her wounds and frowns. He reaches in behind him and pulls out a small medical kit. " I ain't got the scotch but I am sure I can ...wait." as he reaches within his pocket and pulls out a flask. " here Chicken, take a drink." <English>
Helena rises as soon as it is clear to do so, shaky fingers undo the lock on the back door so she can run out to check on the crazy Viking. She seems him kneeling over Annie but seemingly uninjured, "We need a doc out here!" She calls out and runs across the yard towards Conoger and Annie. <English>
Doc holsters his weapons and nods to Oliana...he looks atVash, "Ah thin betweens us whee can gathah up the wounded..." Doc helps Oliana up and says, "Ah thin yer daughtah is in the cellah with yer maid servant Oli....ah'll checks on her soon as ah finish with the wounded.." That said Doc does help get the wounded upstairs and into beds..He helps some...with thier injuries...then he goes looking for Murasaki. When he returns he had the babe in his arms , but the babe holds a doll..not just any ole Doll..it's a special raggity-Ann Doll....with bright red/orange hair. Murasaki holds it like there's no tomorrow...refusing to let it go..." <English>
Sink stands from his crouch, and stretches, and pulls out and refreshes the magazine in his Starshot, before putting it back in its holster. "Well. An asshole knows about Danee. That's going to have to be fixed." Sink then pauses and adds, "You'll have to call the Alliance. Can't hide non-authorized flights, or all these bodies." He sighs, and helps move the wounded and help where he can. Sweetie is soon at his side, her job protecting Sirawen and Mura complete. <English>
Conoger is talkign to Annie, his medical skills consist of handing scotch to a woman that got shot on the shoulder and hip. He is holding a gaze of sorts on Annies shoulder and her hip. Then he see's Helena and he scans her with his eyes and notes she is not injured. " Glad you where in the house, they got Annie good, we need a doc." Then because he is dumb, he lifts Annie up, with her grunting in pain. " Inside we go, safer for now." <English>
