History
My earliest memories are of a great life. There was something going on the Cortex, so, I wasn’t allowed to watch much raw access. I ended up with a lot of nature shows and educations vids. We went to the parks, me and sitters often, but it was always quiet not crowded parks. Father, lets call him Karl, I do now, was a courier pilot that ran special briefs and envoys around the core world. Mom was an administrative assistant to some functionaries at the government. I was encouraged to be studious, but athletic, and I was. We were friends with the neighbors at the apartments. It was around my fifth birthday in 2511 things began to get a little odd.
Things seemed to get a little tense. Still, things went fine the next few years, I started a great school, did well. Martial arts training, gymnastics, and cheerleading. I started to play tag along for the school breaks with Father. He was a great pilot, and he loved to go shooting and hiking around when he was off. Like I said though, something changed at the end of the war, which I began to understand and notice more and more. For one, we packed up a lot of things, our house was always clean, and personal affects shifted more and more to storage.
Mom and Father started acting stranger and stranger as the years went on. They began to with draw from friends and we started taking trip to Newhall. Great vacation spot, when you are just becoming a teen. Father began giving me lessons on the flights to and from home on Londinium.
So then what, well, Karl became the single father of an eighteen year old girl. I was a little messed up, sure, and it shows. For one, I am not the trusting sort, I dont sleep well. College was a nightmare. Karl did his best, bless him. He trained me a little, spy stuff, you know, just incase. He got me my piloting license, security license. But now that I am graduated, I am on my own. I dont even hate the Alliance, most of my life I lived in the core, I even still have that old accent. So, little start up money, and I guess, I will get by, I can always call Karl if things get rough, he is still my Dad, even if he isnt my father.
