McGuire uses what cash he brought with him to get a room at the suggested hotel. The last meeting was dinner at the Senator's place. He sits in the fancy room in a fancy chair looking at the top of the line cortex monitor. Flipping through the many programs, he doesn't seem to like anything that is showing. He sighs and stands up to pace. There is already a path worn in the plush rug, keeping to the same path as he paces. The coffee pot beeps that it is finished making a pot, Fao turning to the brew to get a cup. <English>

Kyo had gotten tossed out of the Fresno for the silly reason that the protestors had heard that one of the Roma scum had been there and he was causing some trouble for their buisness. He gladly left discreetly and figured it was probbly better for him and Fao to stick together now that an entire planet and more was likely out on a witch hunt for them. He sits in the chair as Fao stands up and heads to the coffee. He's just watches the cortex mindlessly and smokes a cigar. <English>

McGuire gets a cup, missing his mug, and pours it full of black coffee. He looks up to Kyo and says, "Alliance interigation methods have changed since last I was in the military. When will we get to court to end this, and will court be the last of it?" He steps back to his path he's worn in the carpet and takes a sip from the coffee, starting his pacing again. <English>

"This is court Fao... The Alliance dosn't have Jury Trials. There is no right to this or right to that. That's not how it works." Kyoshiro says, "We're in the middle of it." He shakes his head, "If this 'trial' is the last of it and they don't intend to negotiate then why in the hell would I stay?" <English>

McGuire takes another sip and looks to Kyo. "I'm glad your here." A slight smile appears on his worried face and he moves to the chair next to Kyo. Sitting down, he glances the mindless cortex and takes another sip from the coffee. "Just gotta wait our turn, huh?" He says as if bored out of his mind. <English>

"Yes... waiting is the game..." Kyoshiro says, "And I don't intend to be bothered by it. I'll just show up late to our next hearing." He shrugs. A lesson from Oda Nobunaga. <English>

McGuire laughs out loud, "Obstinent to the end." His laughter grows untill he takes another sip. <English>

"It's a tactic, you should read the Art of War sometime. Read up on some commanders. Battlefield tactics apply to politics as well sometimes." Kyoshiro says with a bit of a chuckle. <English>

McGuire nods, "I've heard war and politics are the same thing." <English>

Kyoshiro nods, "Sometimes. Not always." <English>

McGuire settles into the chair, "I'm glad I'm a man of peace." He says with a snicker. He drinks more of his coffee, still mindlessly looking at the cortex. <English> The window of the room slides open, letting in the cool night air. The curtain gives a bit of a flutter. There's a slight glisten of light from that direction, but the night's shadows are its own, it would seem. <English>

Kyoshiro turns his head towards the window as he hears it open. He studies it for a moment, smoking his cigar. "That you Esmeraldas?" He may or may not have told that Es had dropped by off the record while he was at the Fresno and had used the window as an entrance, having scaled the walls of the Hotel. <English>

McGuire hears the window slide and looks at Kyo to see if he has the remote. He rises up from the chair, setting his coffee on the tv stand, and walks to the blowing curtains and now open window. He says, "We're five stories up Mibu." He gets closer to the window, at the edge of the blowing curtains. <English>

Dressed in black, she slips through the window to be on the inside. Then she lifts a hand, pushing red curls from her face. She moves from the night's shadows to step at least partially into the light. "Not Esmeraldas," she comments, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "And five stories is not so bad," she adds. <English>

McGuire smiles, ushering her in, offering her his seat. "Can I get you some coffee Willow?" He starts to stride back to the coffee pot, willing to her some and refill his. <English>

Kyoshiro had remained seated, covered in the smoke from his cigar. "Oh... Willow. I was wondering if you were going to show up. Better late than never." He waggles his brows before taking a number of drags from his cigar. "Nah, Five Stories ant bad if you're just crossing over from the blacony in the next room over or under. It's another thing to scale a whole wall." <English>

A glance is given to both of them, and she quirks a smile at Kyoshiro's words. "Ah, no thank you, on the coffee," she answers, a smile coming to her features. "I always turn up again. I'm kind of like a bad penny that way," she comments, winking at him. She chuckles softly, and then she gives a light shake of her head. "And which do you think I did, hmm?" she asks, folding her arms in front of her as she watches him. <English>

"You? You ziplined over like batman from the next building over so the room you're staying in over there wouldn't put you too near to us or obviously so..." Kyoshiro says with another waggle of his brows. <English>

McGuire grins and says softly, "Scaled it." He reaches the coffee pot and pours another cup. <English>

The redheaded woman laughs lightly, her green eyes bright. "Mmm, well... good guess. But not quite right," she comments, winking at him. She glances to McGuire, and then she quirks a bit of a smile. "Close," she adds, amusement in her voice. "I climbed down from higher up." <English>

McGuire nods, "Scaled it." Then takes a sip from his cup. The hotel pot is only a two cupper and he starts to make another pot. "Anybody know where the others are? Zank? Octavia? The girls?" <English>

"Probably back on Paquin Fao..." Kyoshiro says, "And it's best if they don't come here." <English>

Willow tilts her head to one side, studying the pair of them in turn. "I'm not sure about Zank. Octavia and the girls are on Paquin, the last I had heard," she says, a thoughtful tone to her voice. "You guys holding up well enough?" she asks, sounding a bit concerned. <English>

McGuire lets the pot brew and walks to the bed where he sits on the edge. "I've seen better days, but I'm not young anymore." He lifts the cup and takes another sip. "I hope everyone is alright is all." <English>

"I'm holding up well enough." Kyoshiro says to Willow, "Just hope w can stay one step ahead of protestors and assasins." <English>

"Ah, well... I haven't heard anything being amiss with any of them, so I would presume they're alright," Willow comments, a thoughtful tone to her voice. "Anything I can bring for you?" she asks, raising an eyebrow slightly. She lifts a hand, giving a slight gesture. "You are safer here than you might think." <English>

McGuire says, "In my cabin aboard the Jia, to the right of the bed in the cabinet upper drawr is a box of tobacco. I'm running low and would like to refill my pouch." He sets the coffee down on the bedside table and stretches out on the bed. "I can't think of anything else. I refuse bring my guns, because those are prize peaces and I don't want them in the hands of Alliance. So, just the tobacco." <English>

Kyoshiro nods, "I'm sure we are..." He looks to Fao, "Probably for the best. We don't want someone taking them for a trophy... no sir." <English>

From a back pocket does she produce a tin before lightly tossing it over to him. "For you," she comments. It's a fresh and previously unopened tin of tobacco that's the kind he favours. She winks at him, and then looks over to Kyoshiro before giving a small nod. "I just wanted to stop by and check on you boys. I'll keep an eye out for you, not to worry," she says. Then she moves to the window before offering a wave and then heading back out into the night. <English>

McGuire catches the tin and smiles. "Thank you Willow." It seems to calm him enough to relax. Placing the tin by his coffee, he lays back and places his hands together just under his chest. Closing his eye's, the old man falls into a much needed sleep. <English>

Kyoshiro nods, "We appreciate it, thank you." He goes back to thoughtfully smoking his cigar. <English>
