Persephone - Spacers District

Appearing

Frost, Lareina, Jing-Wei, Kylan, Milo, Alzarath, Axel, Brenn, Calira, Michiba, Jade, Jasmine, Kell, Kirsten, Sasha & Solara

Having detected the presence of known elements of the Pirate Commonwealth a organize attempt at arresting these individuals was made.

Spacers District - Persephone
==============================================================================

Nestled between the Eavesdown Docks to the southwest and the City Commons to the northeast, this cluster of businesses is just one step away from the Eavesdown Slums that lie directly south. Food and drink can be found in The Dregs Bar and Grill or The Captain's Retreat though for temporary sleeping arrangements there's only one choice in this part of town, Largo's Crate Motel.
A Dark Alley off to the west seems a sinister counterpart to the apartments that rise up in the opposite direction, The Eavesdown Flats, and almost in the center of it all sits the Derrial Book Memorial Hospital.
==============================================================================

It's morning, and the pirates had been enjoying early morning coffee, or rum. No agression, no conflict, just s few talking. That was until the hologram of Alzarath showed up. The streets cleared like the wild west, shops closed, and people were peeking out windows. Even the Dreggs shut their door, causing the admiral to look back over his shoulder. "Turncoats." he spits. the streets had been blockaded on both sides, leaving the pirates wondering how they had been surrounded so quickly. Jing-Wei had snuck off, and Kylan still sat near his Pirate King. Frost, however, stoof to face the hologram, as if talking to a real person. "Are ye really willin' to bring ah level of destruction down on tha locals, Alzarath? Cause ye know, ah ain' gonna be surrenderin'." <English>

Kylan lets out a long sigh, he takes another drink from his coffee, not getting up from the bench quite yet as he looks back to Frost, then to the hologram. "You know, you guys could have waited until I was done with this. Now it's either gonna go cold or get spilled and I am gonna be tired the whole time." He seems more irritated about that then the fact that he is threatening to bring them in. The tattooed pirate doesn't know what they <English>

Her hood pulled up, Jing reported six more rats on a plank and still no sign of the weasel, then found a trash heap to land in on the opposite side of the buildings from the conflict. It didn't take her long to shuffle through the crowds, to the Raider to find Lareina and hopefully other back up. Leading the way back, she went back up the way she came out, finding another fire escape to bring them over the road block. Keeping low, she looks over the edge to see Frost still talking to the hologram. With a nod to the Pirate Queen, she points the direction of the other road block she had seen, having filled Lareina in on numbers and locations as they returned. Her hand fiddles at the hilt of her knife, even though it's useless up here on the roof. <English>

The tattooed pirate doesn't know what they will do but has quite a bit of faith in the Admiral, for better or worse. His hand does slip down to the holster at his side though, gripping the colt at his side while he drink with his other hand. Eyes flick back to the hologram before he sets his cup down and waits on orders from the Pirate King. <English>

Once she heard that her husband was in danger, Lareina wasted no time in getting herself prepared for a fight. Considering how wanted the pirates were, by the Alliance, they were likely in for another epic battle. Dressed in her armor, her katanas strapped to her back, Lareina follows along with Jing, letting her lead the way to her husband's location. Once Lareina spots Frost and has a chance to see the situation for herself, she begins to make her way toward the easiest point of access to her husband - the fire escape. <English>

The hologram from Alzarath reached Calira Dumont as soon as it was sent by Alzarath and after a remark of, "Bloody clever little bastard," which is said in tones of fond approval, she had called in the word to those who needed to be alerted as to the situation. The call, once it went out, was transmitted by closed channel encryption, but the word spread like wild fire all the same. As soon as boots could hit the ground in the right direction armed units of the Alliance Security forces were full out sprinting to get into position to secure this segment of the city. The warning to keep a weather eye on the surround to hopefully ensure that this section of the city didn't go up (again) in a blaze of smoke and screaming civilians is why the additional forces were called into place.
Meanwhile, Calira is scanning the additional layers of map into her PDA while sorting through her own armory and getting geared up. The notion of staying in her office and letting others handle this issue really wasn't ever on the table let alone in the room where the table IS. She steps into her gear, snugs the armor into place, keeping up a constant stream of back and forth remarks on channel and sends out a warning to friends and colleagues in the area to try to get the area secured as much as possible from stray violence. The ride down to the lobby then rendezvous in the courtyard of the station is done briskly, snapshots of time elapsing as she speaks about the goals of this endeavor. another to check over the gear and armaments of the men accompanying her. They are moving through the city at a brisk pace once all is established and she links her channel directly to Alzarath all the way through. "Alright Gadget, give me a head count," is said into the iCom before bouncing another message out to her brother in law, a man of considerable skill - not all of which is reserved for being an awesome pilot. She passes along extra munitions to the men as they move through the streets, making sure everyone has at LEAST one weapon and a backup, and like the rest she is armed to the teeth while attempting to to resemble a turtle.

Sink , who was sent the info from Cal meets up with the team outside of the station. Drawing his own gear, he always stays close to his sister, and rarely says much with the walk over, but as they get within visual contact with the criminals, Sink keeps closer to the buildings, and his eyes constantly moving. He doesn't raise his weapon, but it's gripped firmly, ready to return fire. <English>

Brenn received the call from Director Dumont and grabbed his QRF kit he keeps ready for such an occasion, sliding into his kit and slinging his rifle over his shoulder, and double checking his ammo and that his other weapons are secured he starts off towards the rondevous in the courtyard, and does PCC's and PCI's on each of the assembled 'troops' (pre combat checks and pre combat inspection). As the assembled group of Alliance head towards the Spacer's District he jumps onto the comms as well and then randomly out loud, "Sarah keep monitoring the regular channels just send the gist of it to me, thanks." He lifts up his M4 and checks to make sure its ready to go. <English>

Technical Specialist Axel Cho was not a combatant per se, just a technician working for the DAS. When a call for all hands was issued, he was unsure that it meant him. Then he was slapped on the back of the head by a passing constable who informed him that it was indeed his duty to follow. With a sigh, Axel grabs his gear and follows out, his newly aquired custom P220 low-slung on his left hip.

Axel was quaking in his boots though, terrified of actually getting inolved in a firefight. Sure, he'd fired many shots at targets and dummies, but firing at a live person was going to be something entirely different, especially when said person was likely going to be firing back. Still though, the young Alliance officer fell in with the others, though did manage to hang back a bit from the 'front-line' troops. After all, he didn't want to be one of the first on scene if he could help it. Hell, there was contemplation of spraining his ankle or even breaking his leg upon the way, as there was likely a better chance of survival that way. He does manage to draw his Walther and set it to stun in his shaking hands, and he doesn't even drop it. <English>

Solara is on her way to the dregs, to get a drink before she heads to her hotel room for the night. That's the plan at any rate. She comes from the space port where there is purple monkey dancing going on, and lots of booty shaking. That was an experience in and of itself, so much so that she didn't even remember to take out her camera. Still, it's on a cord at her wrist, as it almost always is. She's still dancing somewhat as she comes through the commons and into the spacer's district. Her steps do slow, the luxury of dancestepping vanishing as she discovers that she's perhaps walking into a hornet's nest. Wait. What's going on? <English>

Jasmine looks tired as she exits the Captain's Retreat, but an inner sense warns her that things are not the peaceful Spacer's District that she remembers. Some imperceptible cues cause her to glance around, and she notices that among those gathered here, battle lines are being drawn. Survival instinct prompts her to back up, returning to the doorway she just left, and a gloved hand extends behind her to prevent anyone else exiting the restaurant/bar from accidentally walking into harm's way. <English>

Alzie grins, "Talk about protecting civilian lives coming from you Frost is kind of like a dog talking about how much he loves climbing trees." He filters over to look at Kylan, "Oh, got some lip to you? Frost would love to see me dead. Let me show you why he never has killed me." The hologram flickers out as the equipment self-eradicates itself. Where was Alzie? Alzie was on a roof, because he wasn't stupid enough to just rush into a battle like this. He had made too many plans, got too many people on his back that he had to keep going.
As for now, he shuffles over away from the broadcaster after shutting it off and lies on the ground, scooting up to his little rifle emplacement, an alliance security soldier on each side. He aims, slowly, deliberately down the sights and prepares his shot. As the coffee cup is heading down, he fires, a blast echoing, though in this city it's hard to pinpoint sound sources. The coffee cup in Kylan's hand explodes, the coffee flying everywhere around the two and the table they sat at. This was the beginning.
He got on his comms, "There were three, now two. One probably snuck off. You get my gift?" <English>

Sasha comes from the docks. She is mostly meandering finding the city to be almost too much. Her hands are thrust into the pockets of her duster. The sound of the shot wakes her up and presses herself into a door way in about the time it takes to draw her weapon. Looking about her she does not see much but she does not particularly want to be seen either. <English>

Whiiiiiiiiiiiz SPLASH. Considering their close proximity, Kylan's exploding coffe cup splashes the King's armor with some of the sticky substance. He looks down to Kylan, seemingly unphased by the attack, and states. "Now might be ah good time to stand up, Corsair." and then he takes several more steps into the center of the street. The cold morning air flipping back his cape as he stands there and surveys the scene. Alliance in front and behind. He had faith in Jing-Wei, and the faith is rewarded as he tosses a sidelong glance towards a nearby fire-escape and sees the Queen making her way down and to his side. He smirks, their odds just increased ten-fold. He looks fowards again, towards the primary blockade and yells. "This is all ye offer me? This pathetic force?" he hollers in his deep voice. He is looking for onbe of their commanders. he knows they are their. "No leaders? No fame? This is what ye expect to take me with? No name soldiers?? Look at them? They be droppin' lil purple loads 'n their armor even as ah speak!" he slams his hands into his chest, then draws his infamous Anne Bonny. "Ye want me, come EARN me!" <English>

At the shot ringing out, Jing-Wei pulls her head down, glancing over to see her Queen headed down safely, she starts scanning rooftops around her, looking for anyone else who might have taken her same vantage point. Her fingers grip around the hilt of her knife a little tighter. <English>

Kylan watches as the disposable cup beside him gets torn apart by the round. He raises his arm up to shield from the splash before looking back to Frost, "You know, that Alliance is plain rude. I mean really, to destroy a man's innocent coffee. There is no honor left in the world. I don't like that man, Admiral." He says before standing up and yawning for a moment, tugging the colt free with his right hand while the left daftly starts to brush coffee off his armor. His feet shift ever so slightly, weight centered on them nicely before looking back up to the Admiral as he declares that last statement he lets out a sigh. That apathetic vibe from him fading away with it and a small smirk coming back, "Well, sounds like we get to have some fun." <English>

Lareina quickly begins to make her way toward the fire escape. She moves quickly as she descends the ladder, but begins to move even quicker as she hears the shot ring out. She offers a quick glance over her shoulder, just to make sure that it wasn't her husband who had been shot, before she takes off running in his direction. As she runs, her left hand reaches back and she withdraws one of her katanas, so that she's ready to jump into whatever situation was about to be in front of her. <English>

A ghost of a smile forms on Calira's face as she speaks into the iCom, "That I did. We're utilizing it now. Sending up a complimentary chess piece," she adds, suitably cryptic as she hands over the HK-MSG-1A9 to her brother in law, "You know what you're doing," is said quietly, "so you don't need the pep talk. Pick your target, I trust your instincts," is added and she rests one hand briefly upon his shoulder before taking her favored side arm out of it's holster and checking it over, never slowing in their approach. "This goes for all of you. Pick your targets, and pick them well. Axel, go with Sink, provide back up support and cover fire. Brenn, you're with me. Gadget, keep distracting them," she adds as she holds up one hand to halt their progress and gives Sink and Axel the necessary map segments so they can get into position. "Soon as you're into position, fire at will," is added as she settles her gear with one more tug and listens intently to the unnatural quiet of the area, another ghost of a smile, "hmm. Talk about a quiet day in the district." <Chinese>

Sink tests his Climb against a 50 difficulty. The result is successful (21).
Sink tests his Run:obstacle_course against a 50 difficulty. The result is successful (26).

Visual contact is all what Sink was waiting for. He presses up against a building and carefully folds the stock of his Kriss before letting it slide to his side. With his position on the map predetermined, and no time to get there Sink breaks off the main group, and runs down a alley way, onto a dumpster and onto a fire escape. He's not trying to be quiet. The shit is on the way to the fan and he has a position to cover. He gets to his roof top, and drops prone, breathing deeply. <English>

Axel gives a brief sigh as orders are given directly to him. He'd so hoped to stay in the backdrop, blocking off a road or something. Instead, it looked like he was going to be providing backup for what he figured was an Alliance intel wetworks operative. "I hope this doesn't get too messy," says the young recruit as he does his best to follow along behind the man. He runs to catch up, and falls a good bit behind until Sink gets to the climbing position. Then, it's a matter of trying to keep up while climbing. He holsters his walther and begins his futile attempt at climbing. He manages to get to the roof, but nowhere as quickly as Sink does, in fact, it was almost a futile attempt for the young tech. <English>

Solara isn't a reporter for nothing. She gets her camera turned on and aimed at the Pirate King, pdq. The sound of the first bullet makes her jump, and a slight squeak is the only sound she makes. Coffee everywhere! She looks for a doorway to hide in, but her camera stays up, filming as much as she can. Course she has to lean out even with the zoom she's got on that camera. Just to get the view. It's a lovely nice image of chest thumping at any rate, even with splashed coffee on the armour. "Nice projection," she mutters, though really, her hands are steady, and she's trying to figure out where the next action will be so she can catch it on film. For the moment, on the infamous Admiral Frost. Which catches the Pirate Queen racing up to join him. "Now this - this might earn me a Golden Penguin," she exults briefly, before she adds, "If I survive." <English>

At the sound of the shot, Kirsten stiffens, hands making automatic movements to enable the power armor she isn't wearing. Damn her own idiocy for leaving the Alliance... although her luck would probably have had her sitting behind a desk today pushing paper and wondering why the office was so quiet. She grips the pistol in both hands, then reaches up and tears out her earphones, ripping the player off her arm and letting it clatter into the trash underfoot. She edges to the corner and risks a quick peek around, spots the running Lareina, and almost brings up her gun to fire out of instinct. But she doesn't, ducking back round the corner instead and swearing miserably under her breath in a long stream of expletives. No clear shot. <English>

Jasmine watches as someone shoots a cup of coffee, splashing a man in armor, and people start shouting and drawing their guns. By the angle, she can tell that the shot was from a rooftop, so she realizes a sniper is at work. Ice-blue eyes dart about, taking in the weapons being drawn... she sees someone she knows scampering across dumpers and fire escapes... her own hand moves to her holster, then draws back. "Easy, girl," she whispers to herself. There have been times in the past when she's drawn her gun in a cause not her own, and it has cost her, every time. <English>

Staying by the doorway of the Dregs, Kell is perhaps assessing the situation to make sure that he isn't in immediate danger. When the shot rings out hits the coffee mug, he can't help but smirk at the destruction it causes, as well as the mess. Since he isn't being shot at, the gunhand pushes the door open slightly to yell out a warning to the patrons inside that there is apparently an Alliance operation going on outside, which should keep most of sane people hidden inside or perhaps sneaking out the backdoor, away from the firefight. Less civilians running about, the better. Oddly enough, Kell doesn't take his own warning to heart as he stays outside to watch, taking a long sip of his beer though his eyes are searching the people present, to see what other 'innocents' may end up being caught in the cross fire. <English>

Alzie snickers silently, "Two others are climbing up. I think Lareina is here."
He moves his sights over to Frost and Kylan before settling in on Frost, "You always were one to walk forward with no fear. Maybe I picked that up from you." The rifle is gripped harder as he steadies his aim at Frost, "Which way will you jump you fat bastard. Which way." The sights move slightly to the right, here's to guessing. Another shot rings out as it streams towards Frost and his beautifully embroidered cape, flowing manly-ly behind his back.
Alzie resets the rifle and prepares for his next shot. <English>

[SecCode] Alzarath unsuccessfully attacks Frost with his L1A1 Self Loading Rifle at 70 (-40).

Sasha stays in the door way peeking out to see what is actually happening. She sees that if she moves too much she might just get shot. Unintentionally tis true but a big hole in her was not something she'd stand in line for. She ducks back into the door way every time something moves. <English>

From an alley not to far from the admiral and certainly not too far from the Alliance personnel either, would come the lithe feminine form of Jade Tycho, her left hand resting idle like on the hilt of the white hilted Katana. "Wouldn't it be fun..." She would say to everyone gathered, "If a leader of some sort, /was/ to show up right now." Steele violet blue eyes, wide like an owls would look towards Frost, a deadly smirk on her lips. She stood there, in the middle of everything, like no one else was there but her and the Admiral, her haori blowing a bit in a random gust of wind along with the long locks of her raven black hair. That hand on her hilt would move to the Saya behind the Tsuba, it's thumb pushing up on the blade to unlock it from it's resting place. Who would she take sides with, it wasn't clear at this point just yet. Who knew really, the warrior women claimed to hate the Alliance, she also had every reason to hate the Commonwealth, though the respect between her and the pirate was uncanny. They shared something. Something only warriors shared. Though, in curiosity, an eye would wander to the women with the Katana's. "Interesting..." She would say with a bit of interest. There were friends on the side of the Alliance and she would glance to each of them. To Sink, to Cal... to Alzarath who had been with Phoenix for a long time. A light smirk would come to her face. A Lone shot would ring out at Frost. She would sigh and draw her Katana. "Who fired the first shot, maybe this will be the next lexington and concord... no?" <English>

Michiba got the call about backup at the Federal Station. He knew his guard detail wouldn't approve, but that's why he had a backdoor installed. A few moment s and he was geared up and heading to the starport, through the back alleys. He has perch near where the call came out, and figures he'll take that one first. Getting to the roof, he engaged his camo suit and slides into his perch to oversee what is panning out below. He slides his rifle into position and prepares, just as he slides the rifle he knocks over a few crates on the roof and they fall to the ground. Shaking his head Michiba deactivates his suit and stands back from the viewpoint. <Chinese>

Milo tests his Spot against a 135 difficulty. The result is unsuccessful (-6).

Frost tests his Spot against a 70 difficulty. The result is successful (6).

Milo sits in cover behind an air conditioning unit on the rooftop. He checks his weapon, doing his best to remain silent. Jing-Wei, on the rooftop with him, indicates a third-floor window in a building to the south. He continues to scope the territory, looking for targets of opportunity and preparing to introduce some lead to someone's organs. He's been tipped off about Sink, as well, and he keeps a weather eye out for muzzle flashes from any buildings around the district. Nothing is immediately apparent to his sweeping gaze, but he doesn't stop looking. <English>

Sidestepping the shot, almost as if he KNEW the shot was coming. Fat bastard? Not really, he's huge, yeah. Muscley, sure. But fat? Noooo. "Swing n' ah miss!" he screams, a sadistic smirk forming on his cleft lips. He looks quickly to the building the shot came from, and doesn't see the shooter, so he half-turns and fires at the person he had seen. Must be the range,m because the two BLASTING shots from the viscious .585 only slam into the building, at a lower level. "Eh?" he exlaims. "Lick my marmadukes!" and he looks at his gun as if it was entirely it's fault. "Damn ye Roberto! Ye 'ave cursed me!" <English>

Jiing-Wei's scanning eyes find a flash of a gun behind a window, and nudging Milo she points in that direction. Sliding back, she nods back over their shoulder towards the sound of Sink coming up. Then she backs against the edge of the roof, crouching low to let the incoming man go past her in his search for a hiding spot. Then she'll rise behind him, and he may find the point of her knife a little ticklish against the side of his throat. "Where'd'ya think yer goin'?" she asks quietly in his ear, "keep yer hands in fronta ya." She sets a subtle pressure to the back of his knee with her own, trying to put him down sideways to the fire escape he climbed so she can keep an eye on it. "Ya boys never travel alone, what's keepin' yer friend?" Her free hand is on his shoulder as she pushes, but she doesn't make any moves to disarm him. <English>

Kylan shifts to the side away from where the bullet came flying, looking back to the rather massive frame of Frost before trying to spot where it came from. He mutters to himself unhappily, not having a clue where it came from before glancing to the Admiral, the thought of bailing is a good idea to him. He never did like to stand where people where shooting at him. The pistol in his hand swivels with his body, keeping in a lowered crouch, "So, bad time to ask but, who's Roberto?" The tattooed pirate can't keep the curiosity back as he searches for a target.

Calira waits silently while her men find their positions along the roof tops or where ever seems convenient, waits further while the initial exchange of weapons fire starts to set the tone nicely. "Now," is all she says as she nods to Jade and Brenn and walks out onto the street. She has Anubis held in a two handed grip, scanning the area quickly, segmenting off the street into organized portions to be dissected later and lets her attention fall easily upon Frost, his queen and the rest of his group. A handy bit of cover but she doesn't take it, because it's a matter of formalities. "By order of the Alliance security council, you are all under arrest," she calls out in a clear voice that carries. Not, of course, that she thinks this is going to help. "Please be so kind as to lay your weapons down," she adds, and damn if she isn't fighting back a smile, because this has to be the stupidest thing she's said in months. <English>

Well call Sink surprised. A knife at his throat, and a ordinary every day girl getting the drop on him. Old age... "Hey, hey... there's no need for that." Sink holds his hands in front of him, so there's no surprises, at least not from his hands. His knee though, doesn't feel very fleshy, no seems rather hard, "My spotter. He's right behind me, I'm sure, so unless you want to be all shot up, I suggest you drop that knife." The way he says, 'behind me', Sink doesn't sound too confident. <English>

Brenn nods and follows after Calira as they round the corner and she tells the pirates to stand down he smirks a little bringing his rifle up to bear on the cluster he stands off to her right slightly, "Or if that doesn't suit your fancy please stand there and allow us to exchange pleasant volleys of gunfire until we reach an agreement." <English>

Axel was not the athlete that Sink was. He wasn't a fat slob, just a skinny tech-nerd who spent more time cranking a wrench, banging away on a keyboard, or on rare occassions hanging around the cockpit of one of the local ASREVs. He tried his best, but his best wasn't good enough. One hand grasps the roof and he moves to swing himself over the ledge. Fingers slip and he manages to sling one arm up, catching himself for a brief second before that too gives way. "OH SHI.." *THUD* is all that's heard as the young tech, sent to back up Sink, falls and impacts the frozen ground, with only a small mound of leftover snow to cushion him and keep him from doing any serious damage. Still though, the way the man laid sprawled out he looked dead, only the small amount of steam coming up with each shallow breath signified that he was still alive. If and when he awoke, there was going to be a great deal of remedial PT for the young recruit providing he didn't break his spine or cause more severe bodily harm. <English>

The reporter filming with the focus on Frost will also get Jade as she comes over and adds to the mayhem, apparently answering Frost's demands for a leader. More shots ring out, some from the pirate king but none are anywhere near Solara at this point, thankfully. The motion catches her attention, and she turns, panning the camera over towards Calira as she comes out and speaks. Oh, that's going to go over so well, she can already tell. Solara concentrates on filming, getting everything of any importance on film, as long as the camera power holds up, she's filming every bit, as much as she can. "I could use another four camera techs," she grumbles. "Guess that's the downside to being a remote reporter. No backup." <English>

Spotting the falling Axel, Kirsten's face stiffens as she sees the young tech hit the ground hard. Dammit. Shoot at Frost or tend to the wounded....oh, to hell with Frost. Kirsten jams her Sig Sauer back into her fannypack, takes a deep breath, and then sprints like she's never sprinted before, darting across the road to the opposite alleyway, the good doctor slithering to a halt beside the downed tech to tend to him. "Man down!" she yells, finally finding her voice, "Medic!" <English>

The bullet nurses itself automatically out of the chamber as Alzie reaims the rifle. He scans the battlefield again. Milo is over on a roof, but still hasn't seen Alzie and Jing-Wei has sink pinned down, but he knows that won't last long. Which leaves Alzie the choice of the two on the ground currently. Frost seems to be concerned with Michiba and now Calira and Brenn have just trotted out into the open. Stupid on their part, but what the hell. </br> He moves his aims over for Kylan, tracking his target as Kylan drops to the ground and attempts to stay low. That was probably the first person who would try to shoot at Calira and Brenn. Time to run intereference.
That being said, the echo of a shot rings out once more towards the battlefield and Kylan. <English>

[SecCode] Alzarath unsuccessfully attacks Kylan with his L1A1 Self Loading Rifle at 70 (-62).

Jasmine keeps a wary eye on the goings-on, and when she spots Sink being apprehended, she stiffens. Her hand once again tenses over her holster, but she pauses once again. Sink may be a friend, but her attempts at heroism are more likely to get him killed than save him, especially at this distance. Though it pains her, she once again clenches her hand into a fist instead of drawing her Slipshot. <English>

As more shots ring out, Kell reactively ducks slightly even though none of the bullets are fired at the area of the Dregs Bar. With a scowl, he continues to observe the scene while taking another long drink from his bottle of beer. When he hears the announcement by Calira to ask the pirates to stand down and drop their weapons, the gunhand can't help but laugh in amusement as he knows that the Pirate group's response will most likely not be as compliant or respectful. "Drop their weapons, that's a good one..." He mumbles to no one in particular. <English>

Sasha holsters her slipshot and then slips out of the door way. Her breathing is ragged and fear is the perfume of the moment. Her breath comes in shallow gasps and sounds in her ears is as if there is a loud speaker broadcasting it over the square. Backing up so that she can keep an eye on the participants she tries to move stealthfully. Slowly she backs up until she comes to an alley. Then turning into it she runs. As fast as she can, as far away as she can. She does not pass go and she sure as hell does not collect the two hundred credits. Running until her lungs ache then she finds a back way into the docks. Disappearing into the mass of humanity having not seen a thing. <English>

Jade tests her Run:obstacle_course against a 50 difficulty. The result is unsuccessful (-4).
[SecCode] Jade unsuccessfully attacks Frost with her Katana at 80 (-68).
[SecCode] Jade unsuccessfully attacks Frost with her Katana at 80 (-55).

Jade would glance over at Cal with a bit of smirk. She knew that statement was useless, at least when it came to pirates. This is why, when she looked back at Frost she had no hesitation in running towards him, her white Haori and Raven black hair flowing behind her with her quickness Though the crate she had to jump over gave her a little trumble as she tumbled, rolling to get back up and running again. Her blade rested at her hip, edge facing down as she swung upward in an arching slash, quick and fast yet so very powerful, much more powerful then she had been on freehold. It was aimed at his pistol hand, this one, attempting to disarm the Admiral. She would twist the blades edge so that it would face downwards in a strike aimed to slice through his shoulder to the hip if landed. Though, this was less likely with the armor he was wearing, which would absorb a lot of the blow. "Take out your sword Admiral..." She would state in a calm voice yet commanding. There was no bloodlust in her eyes, just sheer resolve and confidence. Though the end result was less then satisfying she didn't seem perturbed. <English>

Michiba tests his Move_Silently against a 70 difficulty. The result is successful (18).

Michiba hears the pot shots from Frost wing the building just below where he knocked the crates. He scans the area around him and engages his suit again. The active digital image camo comes to life, and Michiba slinks into the darker roof top areas to find his new fire nest. After a few minutes of searching he finds a post and commences his work to setup for cover fire. <Chinese>

Frost tests his Spot against a 135 difficulty. The result is successful (2).
Milo tests his Spot against a 60 difficulty. The result is successful (25).
[SecCode] Milo successfully attacks Alzarath with his Accuracy International 2519 Spcl at 60 (4). The attack should deal 4 Stun and 8 Wound damage. (Semi, 9mm-Standard Ammo)

Milo grins as he sees Jing-Wei step up behind Sink. He keeps her covered and casts his eyes around once more. He hears gunshots, and he carefully scopes the office building across the square for their source. Spotting the sniper, he draws a bead and takes a shot.<English>

[SecCode] Frost unsuccessfully attacks Jade with his Mary Read at 70 (-1).

"He made tha bloody gun!" Frost says, his arm still outstretched where he had fired his shots. That is when he spots Jade charging him, he plants his feet. "Kylan, get that sniper out of tha buildin', I'll deal with.... YAAAARGH!" he almost yelps as he quickly moves his hand out of the way and drops the Anne Bonny into his holsster, his left hand withdrawing the Mary Read and lifting it in time to PARRY the second swing from Jade. "So much for our peace, aye, warrior?" he asks darkly as te two swords rest against each other, held by the force of each soldier. He then hops back a single step and thrusts a near miss at Jade, almost grinning as if he did it on purpose (even though he didn't). Swords drawn, amidst a fire fight, the pirate squared off with the female warrior. "One of us not be walkin' away from this." <English>

At the sound of the fall from the fire escape near by, then the call for a medic with a man down, the hooded Jing-Wei holding Sink down can be heard smirking. "Looks like it's just you an' me... us..." she ammends with a nod of her head towards Milo. When her compatriot on the roof turns, she looks over for a moment. "Ya get 'im?" she asks curiously, the hand on Sink's shoulder not gripping so tightly now that the man is on his knees. In fact, it lifts to move towards the firearm strapped to his back. <English>

Kylan tests his Spot against a 70 difficulty. The result is successful (33).
[SecCode] Kylan unsuccessfully attacks Alzarath with his Colt-1911-A19 at 65 (-62).

Well people are just coming out of the woodwork, and none of them seem to be pirate friendly. Kylan's eyes snap toward the woman that is talking about putting weapons down and he can't help but smirk at that, she seems to understand how ridiculous it is but there there is a bullet snapping into the ground beside him, "OI!" He shouts back up, not having a clue where that is coming from but he is rather unhappy about it. He hears the snap from Frost beside him, and some crazy chick attacking him but that doesn't exactly matter at this point. Looking up to the rooftop he levels his pistol at something up there and lets it bark out a shot toward the man that had done the same to him. Rather hoping that the others will get busy with other people. <English>

Calira tests her Spot against a 70 difficulty. The result is successful (36).
[SecCode] Calira unsuccessfully attacks Kylan with her Mateba Autorevolver "Anubis" at 65 (-38).

Color Calira totally unsurprised as Jade hares off toward Frost like a missile seeking it's ultimate target. "Let's let them have a moment, shall we?" is suggested in a mild tone of voice in a quiet and blandly calm aside to Brenn as she scans the area for the next inviting target. She can hear the weapons fire taking place above their heads and speaks into the comm, "Report," is the only word spoke but it's sufficient as to be clear that she's asking for one, not making one. She turns her gun on the man in Frost's party, the one with the slate blue eyes and fixes his face to her memory like all the rest. Seeing his head tilt back and his weapon aiming upward to where at least one of her men is holding a position, and instead of focusing upon the eternal combat between Jade and Frost she aims a quick shot at Kylan, "Get off a shot fast, this will distract him long enough for the second shot to be perfect," she says quietly. <English>

Sink doesn't hear Axel coming up the fire escape. He actually hears the thud from the other side of the building, and Axel's fate becomes clear to him. With Milo distracted with his new found gun fight now is the time for Sink to act. His hands move precisely, years of grappling training. Right hand to Jing-Wei's wrist, and a sudden chest bump backwards, creating space, just enough space to slide his left arm in. Right thumb over back of wrist, knife down and back towards shoulder, chest forward and down, hips to the side. The move is sudden and practiced, exact, and there is a undeniable strength behind it all. It's a perfect hip throw from the knees. Jing-Wei, lands on her back and skids, out of his wrist lock and away from his reach. The guns hanging from his shoulder swing wildly in his act. <English>

Brenn tests his Firearms:rifle against a 80 difficulty. The result is unsuccessful (-15).

Brenn nods and brings his rifle up and sights in on Kylan's pistol because well it'd be funny? And less lethal than a bullet inside the center mass of the chest region. "Understood letting those two hash it out ." And he slowly squeezes the trigger but not taking the fact that its zero'd for a farther distances just completely misses. "Drat." <English>

Jasmine tests her Spot against a 70 difficulty. The result is unsuccessful (-13).

Alzie doesn't flinch as the bullet strikes his arm, he's been shot before. Once shot, always shot. Not like any one shot feels any different and this was a pistol from long range, so it didn't exactly have piercing power against the velites bodysuit. "Why do you people make me do these things?" He slides over against the wall, keeping low to stop from being shot at again. In the meantime though, he pulls a first aid kit from a bag next to him and begins to work, "Stubborn bastards. This is Gadget, I'm tired of sniping. Benelli wants some blood."
He would rest one round then go all out. <English>

Jasmine watches as Sink manages to free himself from the precarious position Jing-Wei had him in, but clearly he's not out of the woods yet. Finally, the Slipshot clears her holster, but she doesn't budge from the doorway. She doesn't know who to shoot, or if a shot from her would even help. <English>

More action goes off with a woman challenging the Pirate King to a sword fight is what Kell is able to observe in between beer sips, staying by the doorway of the Dregs Bar. The action above the rooftops are oblivious to him since he has no line of sight though when his eyes scan the area, the same redhead that he spotted earlier in the Spaceport is seen hiding in doorway not too far away while filming. That is where Kell decides to head towards though instead of just frolicking down the street in the middle of the fight, the gunhand is prudent enough to stick to the side of the building and trying to remain inconspicious. <English>

Jade would see the thrust coming moving her body to be parallel with the incoming blade, it missing her closely. Aye, Warrior... She would say in a quiet voice and it would be the only words she would say from then on. Having her body turned already, this was a good position to attack from, since her position allowed for a good swing, she would follow through with a Horizontal slash at the Admiral. It was fast and skill full, almost a blur to the untrained eye, the blade shining against the lights of the city. Though Frost was far from untrained. Her eyes shone with confidence and resolved, her facial expression solemn and controlled, this was a different warrior entirely. <English>

[SecCode] Michiba unsuccessfully attacks Milo with his Fifty-Four R Sniper Ricochet Special - 'Clara' at 70 (-37).

Michiba locks into a target on the opposite roof. He lets loose a warning pot shot to let the pirates know he is there. Not his intent, but the shot he made none the less. <Chinese>

[SecCode] Milo unsuccessfully attacks Sink with his Accuracy International 2519 Spcl at 80 (-55).
[SecCode] Milo unsuccessfully attacks Sink with his Accuracy International 2519 Spcl at 80 (-80).

Milo swivels quickly at the sound of Jing-Wei being thrown. He takes two shots at Sink's knees, a little wild because of his haste. "Get down and stay down, old-timer, your belly ain't purple enough for me to open it," he says, only loud enough to be heard by the others on the roof, keeping his piece aimed at center-of-mass. A shot zings past him from the opposite roof, and he ducks behind a rooftop air conditioning compressor into cover. <English>

[SecCode] Frost successfully attacks Jade with his Mary Read at 45 (51). The attack deals 2 Stun and 14 Wound damage. (Thrust)

Jasmine tests her Spot against a 50 difficulty. The result is successful (16).

Another parry from the Pirate King, his blade parries Jade's swift and potentially deadly attack, shifting it aside. "Gorram it, Jade, ye chose tha wrong side... again!" he hollers at the woman before he ducks in a spin, twisting his body hard to the right as he ducks to the ground, his blade swinging in a half-circlesd arch as it runs across both Jade's legs, cutting into her body armor. after the initial impact, Frost is about 180 degrees, and this is where his weapon switches hands, now in his right, his left hand plants the ground and he uses it as a push off point. he is now rotating back the opposit direction, blade outstretched again, and he drags the blade BACK against her legs a second time, his cape flaring up at the swift and almost elegant movement. This attack is almost dead on from his last, digging deeper into the warrior woman's armor. "Ah said, one of us wouldnb' be walkin' out of 'ere." he says, looking up. <English>

[SecCode] Jing-Wei successfully attacks Sink with her Throwing Knife at 45 (6). The attack deals 0 Stun and 0 Wound damage. (Thrust)
[SecCode] Jing-Wei unsuccessfully attacks Sink with her Throwing Knife at 45 (-68).

In a burst of color to make any Pirate proud, the scrambling Jing-Wei lets out a string of oaths.. once her breath returns to her body. Mostly they are directed at herself as she reaches back to pull one of her throwing knives. As Milo dives for cover and his shots miss, she lets fly with her own missile, hoping to push Sink back from her knife so she can retrieve it from the ground where he forced her to drop it. There's a scrabbling of her feet on the roof as she struggles back to her feet, although she keeps low as the shots are now coming in their direction. <English>

Kylan tests his Hide against a 50 difficulty. The result is successful (22).
Sink tests his Agility against a 60 difficulty. The result is successful (42).
[SecCode] Kylan unsuccessfully attacks Calira with his Colt-1911-A19 at 45 (-5).

Kylan all but yelps when all of a sudden shots are just filling the air about him. He ducks to the side and the mad flailing of his arm is what actually manages to keep the gun in his hand at the moment. He spots the two that seem to have takin' a liking to him and he doesn't feel quite the same way on the matter. This is a bad place to be, he still has the snipe on the roof... and another shot, make that two snipers. "Admiral, lots a lead out here. I didn't bring an umbrella." He calls back to the large man, scrambling he slips behind a nearby parked car glancing toward the sword fight unfolding nearby and hoping that it buys him a bit of time. He glances around the side and snaps off a shot at that crazy lady that told him to put his gun down, hopefully she'll back off... right. <English>

[SecCode] Calira unsuccessfully attacks Frost with her Mateba Autorevolver "Anubis" at 50 (-1).

Keeping a portion of her attention on the battle at hand, Calira is listening intently to the com chatter going on above her head and the shots ringing in the distance. Her round to Kylan goes wild, which is to say does absolutely squat. Brenn's round does about the same and she gives a quiet chuckle that she doesn't even try to conceal. She rolls her shoulders slightly, kicks at a lose bit of snow with the toe of one boot as she watches the blade work between Jade and Frost. "Henderson, take care of blue eyes here," is said in a quiet voice as she moves a few feet to the side, then continues to work her way around while they continue to be locked in what has to be mortal combat. Her sideways rather circuitous movement makes it tough for Kylan to take a good read on her position, and she hears the nasty whine of the bullet as it zings by - wide - and embeds itself into a wall with a puff of falling ice and dust. She works to find the angle that won't bring Jade into her line of fire and waits until after Frost's strikes hit home before she toggles her weapons targeting abilities to their highest range and waits.. waits again.. the shot needing to be perfect. "Always bring a gun to a knife fight," she recites to herself and finding the only shot viable takes it. <English>

[SecCode] Sink successfully attacks Milo with his Kriss Super V at 45 (0). The attack deals 7 Stun and 15 Wound damage. (Burst, .45APR-Standard Ammo)

Sink's quiet little roof has become a hot little war zone. Bullets, and judo, and knives, oh my! With Milo shooting his way Sink rolls, the arc of his shoulder roll high, but it's clear he does that to protect the guns dangling from his shoulder. As he rolls across the top of his shoulder blades the Kriss Super V rises to his hand and in mid roll Sink's right hand wraps the grip, the left flicking the selector. The old man finishes the roll coming all the way up to a knee, the Kriss held in both hands, not having time to unlock the stock, he fires a burst towards Milo. Knife girl is one thing, but pistol boy, needs to be taken down. <English>

[SecCode] Brenn successfully attacks Kylan with his Colt-M4A17 at 55 (8). The attack deals 3 Stun and 8 Wound damage. (Semi, scope, 6mm-Standard Ammo)

Brenn nods slightly, "Roger." And the M4 comes back up, "Over here blue eyes." And sighting in on Kylan proper this time he squeezes the trigger again and hears the thwap of a round hitting flesh or at least armor "Or a missile chief... Those work better than guns." <English>

[SecCode] Jasmine successfully attacks Jing-Wei with her Slipshot 44 at 45 (33). The attack deals 1 Stun and 4 Wound damage. (Semi, 10mm-Standard Ammo)

Alzarath tests his Move_Silently against a 60 difficulty. The result is unsuccessful (-44).
[SecCode] Alzarath successfully attacks Milo with his bare hands at 50 (17). The attack should deal -0 Stun and 0 Wound damage.

[SecCode] Alzarath successfully attacks Milo with his bare hands at 70 (28). The attack should deal 1 Stun and 0 Wound damage.

Alzie finishes up his first aid treatment and then slams the box shut. "Well, nuff of that." He stands, stretching out his arm and then wincing. "No matter how many times you get shot, still hurts huh. Oh well, no use being a cry baby about it." He peeks out, Milo is under fire and Jing Wei just got taught a hard lesson in martial arts by Sink. Hmm, that seems like fun. He hasn't done that in awhile. "Yeah, let's do that."
He swivels out from cover and drops to the fire escape on the side of the building before pulling himself up and running up a couple of the stairs. It only takes a knife, a wire and a jump to swing over to the other rooftop, the rilfe left upstairs for later retrieval. He slides onto the roof and grunts, "Well, I'm apparently not as young as I use to be." Pulling himself up, he goes around the opposite direction of the air vent.
"Hey, Time to go to sleep." He kicks at the man's head, snapping him up and then slams a fist into Milo's armor, a grin forming, "Think your armor can stop me," his fist pulls back one more time and then shoots forward once more, this time crushing aganst the armor's stomach. <English>

Jasmine sees Milo on the rooftop, when the man comes into view, seeking cover behind an air-conditioning unit from someone else shooting at him. Coming to the realization that Milo was threatening Sink, Jazz resolves to take him out of the picture. She draws a bead upon the man - but before she can take careful aim, Milo gets hit and drops out of her line of sight. Frowning, Jazz swivels her Slipshot over toward Sink's fire escape, where he's still being threatened by a woman with a knife - and there's where she takes her shot. As soon as she sees that the shot hits, she decides to fade. She's done all she can without drawing undue attention... time to get out before she's noticed. <English>

Jade would crease her brow, her sword at the ready when he would speak of his regret as if he cared, actually cared what side she was on. "Frost, it's not that..." But alas, it is what distracted her as his blade connected with her legs, leaving a rather large laceration. His caporia like moves fast and accurate. Perhaps he was more convincing then she though and maybe he didn't care. Either way, at the second attack, which lost the power of the first she would almost fall, her bones more then likely severed or close to it. The armor helped of course, but the bleeding was emence as it came pouring from the holes in her armor. There was just enough time to fall into a roll behind a crate. She started to sweat, grinding her teeth at the pain. "Not... ready... yet..." She would say to herself through gritted teeth as she started to crawl her way away from the admiral. Indeed she was not walking. She would laugh though, "I ant walking out, nope." At least through the pain her dark humor was still intact. "This is Jade..." She calls on a comm through heavy and broken breaths. "I need a medic and cover... " She keeps crawling, dragging her legs behind her. "I held him off as long as I could." She would make it to a wall around a corner somewhere, sheathing her sword and pulling out her pistol... just in case. <English>

[SecCode] Michiba successfully attacks Jing-Wei with his Fifty-Four R Sniper Ricochet Special - 'Clara' at 50 (50). The attack deals 8 Stun and 20 Wound damage. (Semi, 12x holosight thermal lowlight, .585-APR Ammo)

Michiba settles into his nest, seeing the knives thrown by the crazy woman, "Iron 1.. House of FLying Daggers targetted." clicking is Icomm. A moment is takin to focus on the target he holds his breath, then begins to count. The round is sent fourth at the end of the countdown, "Hit Confirmed." he fixes his sights and begins to scan other targets. <Chinese>

Milo tests his Willpower against a 40 difficulty. The result is unsuccessful (-6).
Milo tests his Strength against a 46 difficulty. The result is successful (23).
Milo tests his Willpower against a 46 difficulty. The result is successful (3).

Blood had sprayed his face in the wake of the attack to Jade's legs. However, her military crawl retreat gives him pause to once again look over the battle raging around him. Bullets flying this way and that. "Bite me marbles." he mutters under his breath, pushing himself to stand. The action causes his cape to flare out to the right, just in time for a bullet to penetrate it. He blinks and looks up the inclined road towards it's originator.. Calira. He snarls, but instead of fighting he sheaths his cutlass. His right hand drops to his utility belt where he activates his armor-embedded comlink.. the action causing something... some little electronic device.. to fall from te belt, unbeknownst to him. "Line one, open tha blockade." he commands into the communicator. Then adds for his embattled elite. "Full retreat. Now." this is when one would expect the Admiral to move for the exit himself, but he doesn't, instead he looks to Calira and screams. "Until next time, poppet!" and THEN he spins, exposing his back to the Alliance figures. At the southern blockade a scream can be heard as Commonwealth regulars move in to engage the Alliance forces there and thus open a whole for their brethren. <English>

With Sink concentrating on Milo, Jing-Wei darts forward to retreive her knife, and turns once it's secure in her hand once more. She's given pause when the first bullet hits her, and giving a shake of her, backs right into the next one. With an 'oof' as it feels like she's hit and run over by a hover mule, she falls backwards on the roof, her head swimming. She doesn't even realize at first when Milo picks her up, but a jarring when he tries the fire escape brings her back to consciosness enough that the view of going down a fire escape staring at the ground scares into a small burst of adrenaline. "I can make it down myself," she tells Milo, gripping the rail. And she does, but collapses at the bottom again, having used it up completely. However, they're both at the bottom without more injury, even if Milo has to pick her up again to make good their escape. <English>

That wasn't good, Kylan really needed a shot to hit. Wait, she's off of his and the man lets out a sigh of relief, that moment his guard relaxes and then he's tossed onto his back from his crouch. Blinking before letting out a groan a hand moves to grip his shoulder where the bullet hit. Scrambling back up onto his feet, he grabs his gun with the weak hand and grinning at the should of the regulars charging in. He moves after Frost, heading toward the hole that is being made for them, hurrying along as he doesn't exactly want to stick around to see how well he can dodge more bullets. <English>

Calira hears the call for medic from Jade and opens yet another channel, "Get a medic team in here now," is said in a low but clear voice. "We need to med-evac Tycho now. Rooftops need to be secured, send backup to the sniper posts up top and get our men safely down," is added as she keeps her attention focused on Frost but carefully picks her way through the snow and shell casing littered patches of ice toward where the bloody smear of a trail leads to Jade's position. "I say again, we have casualties, medical teams needed immediately." The sound of weapons fire and the distinctive noise of a clash of a mass of bodies hitting other bodies rings through the open channel. "Unit 125, report!" is said sharply into the utter silence she's getting from that unit - clearly because they are to BUSY to be talking to her or anyone else. "Puppet? Did he call me a puppet?" she demands in a faintly incredulous tone of voice before she factors in the accent, "Oh, Poppet. wait, that's just as bad," she decides , watching the Pirate King take his people and head for the docks. "Iron 1, keep over watch, track their path through the city. Gadget, link up with Dragon 1 and join us down here." <English>

[SecCode] Brenn successfully attacks Frost with his Colt-M4A17 at 45 (8).The attack deals 0 Stun and 3 Wound damage.(Semi, scope, 6mm-Standard Ammo)

Sink starts to track the pirates as they flee from the rooftop, his finger on the trigger to let another burst go, but there's a sudden twitch from his upper body, and instead of pulling the trigger one hand then another go to the roof top and stop him from pitching forward. He stays there, like a sprinter in the blocks, for several moments, before coughing several times. And rising to his feet, and shaking his head. He moves slowly towards the edge of the building and the fire escape, but the moment has past and pistol boy and knife girl are past his influence. <English>

Brenn brings his rifle up to bear at the retreating pirates, having let Micky-Blue-Eyes taste his rifle he's feeling a little brave and takes aim at the retreating form of Frost, "Calling my boss a Poppet..." And squeezing the trigger he blinks, "Holy shit he does bleed." <English>

Alzie just stares, "Sounds about right. Off they go."
He turns towards the ground and Calira, "I got an L1A1 to pick up, but additionally, I'm a medic. Send the wounded my way and I can take a look at them back home until our doctor on duty wakes up." Then he just walks down to the triage area to treat soldiers, his first aid kit in tow. <English>

Michiba clicks his IComm, "Iron 1 to Groud Teams.. Tracking Sno-Cone King.. He dropped a device. Retrieve it,... Priority One." he keeps his large rifle trained on the object, in essence defending it. <Chinese>

Jade would look down at her feet and chuckle, The blood starting to pool, "Not today... but one day." She would look over at Cal, "You know... I'm only half dead Cal, it's okay, really!" She gets loopy once shock from blood loss and pain kicks in. "Yeah, he did call you poppet." She would think a moment, putting her head back against the wall she was resting again, wincing as some pain shot through her body while her leg twitched a bit. "Okay, med evac, not such a bad idea." <English>

"Push tha line, be wary of civillian casualties." Frost is speaking into his comlink as he walks towards the hole being opened by his notorious Line One regulars. After the command, he notices Kylan coming up on his flank and grabs his arm, moving the man in front of him, thus leaving his own back as protection for the man. And people say Frost doesn't care. And just in time too, because no sooner is Kylan in front of Frost, the does a bullet SLAM into the Admiral's left ankle. "Giraffe piss showers in spring!!" he screams, falling to one knee and hand on pavement. He did bleed, and it was a one in a million shot to actually bring the Admiral down.. the very same Admiral that left that curious electronic in his wake. he motions Kylan on, and begins to pull himself to stand. "Keep movin', mate, keep movin'," and he, himself, hops along after the other pirate. "Oh, it feels like someone is ass fuggin' me ankle." yeah, that made sense. <English>

Calira listens to the disjointed jumble of barked commands on the comm as the unit engaging the Commonwealth Regulars clashes, hearing the moment when the line breaks and swears. She breaks off her tracking of Jade and jogs through the snow to the last position of Frost and crouches to sift through the snow with both hands. "Retrieving device, Iron 1, hold fire," she calls through the com and eventually finds the device, holding it aloft to let Michiba see that she's found it. "Retrieved," she says, unnecessarily as she carefully tucks the device into one of her pockets, seals the tab around it then returns to where Jade is laying in an ever spreading pool of blood. "Pain is good, Jade, it reminds you that you're still alive. When it stops hurting? That's when you're in danger," she says as she goes to one knee beside Tycho and studies the gashes in the armor and the blood seeping. She's not there for more than a handspan of seconds before a medic team comes barrelling through the snow and removes Calira from the immediate vicinity to ask the standard questions of Jade. <English>

Milo stumbles down the fire escape, making for the line. He passes close to Frost, seeing the Admiral go down to one knee. He offers an arm, helping the Pirate King to his feet, and the Line One regulars wash past them as the Pirate King and one of his newest recruits head for the spaceport. He looks up at the Admiral, who is roughly a foot taller than he is, and grumps, "Boss, if we keep getting shot, I'm going to run out of blood. I need it to stay inside. We should reexamine our policy on overwhelming force." A smirk crosses his face, interrupted by a grimace of pain. <English>

Kylan blinks a few times as the Admiral comes up behind him and he offers a nod, "Than-" is about all he gets to before Frost yells that out and he has to figure out if he's more concerned with what dropped him or trying to figure out what he just said. The tattooed pirate does turn back toward him, "You alright Admiral?" He asks, glancing back before he gets that motion along. Nodding, and rather thankful nothing is wrong with his legs, he spots the other pair coming along and smirks at the words from Milo. "You know, that's a very good point." He calls back over to the other man as he moves along through the sea of Lone One regulars. <English>

Brenn's still just staring before he glances over at Calira, "Seriously... Of all the times I've been in a battle with that man thats the first time I've seen him bleed..." Then a pause, "Sarah get medical teams to our southern blockades we'll need to treat folks there as well as another one to link up with Gadget for triage here." <English>

Frost waves a dismissing hand at Milo. "Nay, ah be fine. Take little bird." he says, pointing an armored finger towards the downed Jing-Wei. He then continues his hobble, the regulars setting up perimeter around them as the group makes their way south. Frost was brazen to let his pirates wander Persephone.. but despite some reports, the Admiral wasn't stupid, and he had back-up, in case they had to leave... which was exactly the case. "They will track us, get tah the boat, n' we'll get out.. get out now.." <English>

At Frost's call penetrates her awareness of the young girl, and Jing-Wei tugs at the rung of the fire escape. Shaking her head once more, she grimaces. That was a bad idea. Setting her gaze more on the ground in front of her feet she shoves one in front of the other, then does so a little quicker, her hood still tied tight around her face she shambles after the others, stumbling against one wall and reaching a hand out to use it. Something solid helps, and she bounces drunkenly along it until she reaches the Lone One regulars, and grabs onto the nearest one. "Hey, William," she mumbles, actually recognizing the face. "Piggy back?" William doesn't even answer, but he scoops her up over his shoulders in the same fireman's carry that Milo had used earlier. "That works, too," she says before she goes unconscious. <English>

Michiba shoulders his rifle and moves to the fire escape, and down. The ripples of light and camo show slightly as the still camo'd sniper lurks through the alleys toward the main checkpoint. He makes his way to where Jade and Calira are. He clicks the camo off and he visibily appears before the two women. The SecDAS doesn't say anything yet, still scanning the horizon. <Chinese>

Sink makes his way down the fire escape and to the ground. He's moving slowly, not the same spring in his step. When he reaches the ground he checks it for a Axel shaped impression. It's only clear that Axel was removed from his fall that he heads back carefully to where Cal is. He nods to Michiba, and looks at Jade, and shakes his head, "That looks painful. You going to make it?" <English>

Jade would look up at Cal, "Don't get me wrong Cal, I'm hurtin'... I just ant guna scream about it like some child." She would smirk a bit, looking over to Brenn, "Aye... he bleeds... wait, do I get Hazard pay out of this?" And there was a pause, "I'm joking..." And then a shot of pain would move through her causing her to wince, "I think..." Then the medics come, "Oh no... not these guys... It's a laceration from a sword. I'll probably need a cast and bone regeneration as well as stitching. Just stop the bleeding first boys." She would look to Cal and roll her eyes before resting her head against the wall, sighing, and letting the medics do what they want. "I'd increase Alliance presence on Paquin. It's safe to say my involvement has broken any vocal treaties the Admiral and Romany had." <English>

"He bleeds like the rest of us," Calira says quietly to Henderson. "It's not that he's immortal. It's that his armor is of the karking /fantastic/ sort that we can't punch through easily. Everyone bleeds, everyone dies, it's only a matter of when and where." Calira pats the pocket briefly that holds the device and gives a barely discernible start of surprise when the SecDAS appears, the only tells to his approach being faint imprints of boots in the snow. The look of relief is easily read upon her face and she shifts her attention to Sink with it, "Thanks for lending a hand, Sink," she says with a brief gleam of a smile before looking down at Jade. "I'll keep an eye on Paquin," is promised solemnly. "That's what we're here for." <English>
