Kyoshiro couldn't sleep much through the night. The morning here was foggy, the sound of birds and crickets and all sorts of insects. The waterfall, which creates a stream here in the Kettled valley of Shangrila, is loud and flowing as snow and ice melt from the glaciers on the surrounding mountain peaks. Kyoshiro reaches into his vest pocket as he looks out over the valley from his lodgings. He produces a cigarillo and lights it. <English>
Danee comes up the path from the direction of one of the huts. She smiles as she watches Kyo light his cigarette. "good morning" she says not to loud as to not disturb the morning. <English>
"Lady McGuire..." Kyoshiro greets... "Did you sleep well last night?" A long drag from his cigarillo and he looks down the hill towards the Elders lodge. "I figured I'd take a walk down to see Rasputin..." <English>
Danee nods, "I came to see if you were ready. I did have a good night. This morning I have been having tea with some of the women, They are not all that different from us. I am not sure what I expected but it was not that we are alike." <English>
"I am ready." Kyoshiro says, adjusting his frock and the black pork pie atop of his head. He starts to walk down the hill. "So they're not too much different but they're also not alike. That's just how it is I guess." He muses... "Rasputin said he cured my fathers illness... So he can cure mine. That's a bonus but I don't think he knows anything about Alucard." <English>
Danee falls into step beside Kyo, No I got the impression this was not about that at all. "So your name is Tycho. Kyoshiro Tycho?" she smiles, "I am not sure but I think it should be nice to have someone you can ask questions of. And guess you can now be called Voivode. After all your grandfather is one of teh Elders." <English>
"Voivode..." Kyoshiro raises and eyebrow not understanding the meaning of the word. "No... my birth certificate says Mibu. That is my legal name and the name I will always be called by. It was my grandmothers maiden name." He shrugs as the reach the lodge. Rasputin is sitting in a rocking chair on the porch. "I'm not sure why he keeps calling me that other than it being my fathers name." He nods his head to the Elder, "Good morning... grandfather." <English>
Danee smiles at the old man, "good morning Grandfather" she looks from Kyo to Rasputin and looks for a likeness. There is some. And she remains quiet but she is curious. <English>
Rasputin speaks in his elderly and shaky male voice, "So now we have time to talk yes? I hope you both slept well..." He pauses to take a drag from his pipe, lighting it with a match. "But I sense there is something on your mind grandson... please ask."
Kyoshiro doesnt hesitate, "This monster... I have it like my father before me. How did he get rid of it..."
Rasputin raises his brows as he contemplates the question. "It takes time, and training... an inner battle you must fight with the monster inside... You should get started soon..." He looks to Danee, "I will take him to the secluded inner sanctum on te summit of the mountain and purge him or this wickedness." There is a pause, "Tell me, child, how fair the other clans? Do they buckle without their brothers and sisters from shadow? Are we weak?" <English>
Danee nods, "He will excell" she smiles from Kyo to teh old man, "The clans are changing. More are begining to believe that it is their duty to protect themselves. It was a hard blow to lose the shadow and then lose the Deadwood clan. I think the people are waking up to the truth that not all danger comes from Pirates." <English>
"Yes..." Rasputin says, tapping the end of his pipe against his old cracked lips. "There is a greater and more greivous danger comming for our people. For the entire universe. We disagreed with you for so long that we never sought to reunite... untill now." There is a moment, "We are growing smaller in number. This isolationism is running us raggid. Sterilizing us. There are ocassional Gadje who meet our standards but many of those families end up like my gandson here." Another puff, "However, the difference between us and the others is that we've been training for war for centuries." He looks to Kyoshiro, "your cousin from the Beylix clan... she tried to turn the Churara of the girl's clans into something more."
Kyoshiro blinks, "Do you wish to come out of hiding then?"
"Salisbury will always be our home as will shangrila... but, our brothers and sisters need us now more then ever." He sighs as people start waking up and going about their work. "Many think me weak for this decision." <English>
Danee listens quietly nodding when she agrees. "it is not weak to understand limitations. I was talking to some of the women and they say fewer Male children are surviving to adulthood and many females are sterile. You will be welcomed to teh Kris I am sure. But you will be stared at and there will be outsiders who will be frightened." <English>
The elder nods to Danee. "This is correct. We try not to inbreed. The problems started during the exodus... and staying in one place and now moving like our kin... it has caused the sterilization." A pause. "Tomorrow, you will take me down the mountain and to your ship. Dimitri and his garrison brigade will join us. We will go and speak to the Kris on Paquin and reveal ourselves." Rasputin says as he stands. "Grandson... let us pack and head for the inner sanctum... let us exercize this demon..."
Kyoshiro gulps and nods before looking to Danee, "This shouldn't take too long..." He goes up the stairs to go get ready for the hike. <English>
Danee stands, "Grandfather? Did Kyoshiro have a brother?" <English>
The old man turns around, looking between Kyo and Danee... "There is another... yes... twisted. Evil. Consumed by the demon inside... It is too late for him." <English>
Kyoshiro looks down at the ground... as if saddened by this news. "Alucard..." <English>
Danee lets out the breath that she was holding. Disappointment. "Grandfather? Is there something he is vulnerable too. Like I don't know something that can give us an edge?" <English>
Kyoshiro looks to Danee before looking to Rasputin. "The Heart..." Is all he says before he beckons Kyoshiro to follow him inside of the lodge. <English>
Danee turns and takes a seat on the steps, "The heart. what does that mean? He likes the ladies? he wants to fall in love or that he has a weak heart? I hate riddles.." <English>
The group that had come with Kyoshiro to Salisbury had found them selves in the mountains, through a cave system and into a hidden kettle valley where an ancient red eyed Romani clan currently reside. Kyo, after speaking with Danee and the Elder, has taken off to the woods to begin training to bring control over his genetic disorder. Danee was left behind. It is now midday and the red eye'd Romani go about their jobs at the mine or training as warriors at the Dojo. The sound of children laughing, and glacier waterfalls roaring through the valley enclosed by snow capped peaks. <English>
Conoger had no idea what to expect when he told Kyo he help him in any way possible. So now Kyo is gone some where, hugging trees or training and in either case he is here, sitting and relaxing by cleaning his axe's, shining them nice and pretty like. Though there is alot on his mind, he tends to focus better when he is cleaning his equipment and keeping them ready. His helmet at thsi time lays on the table for the moment, his shield set against the table but all else is still on him. ON occasion he does look about, seeing if anyone else has come back or they two doing their own things. <English>
Danee moves from the corner where she has been sitting thinking about the stupid riddle. She hates riddles. but she smiles as she sees Conoger. "Kyo has gone with the Grandfather. He may be a while. I heard you were attacked in a cave by spiders." she shivers. "I hope you were not poisoned by them?" <English>
Conoger look up as he is putting the Ares back together and presses the trigger to make sure it is all working nice and proper. He then pushes in the clip and he hears Danee. There is a smile upon his lips then and nods slowly. " Oh yes, the spiders and snakes, it was a fun adventure. Barely got hit, more brusing than anything, the armor was good protection. Others had alittle difficulty but over all we all came out alright." then sets the Ares back on it's holdster and pats the seat beside him. " Sit, please, oh and this axe was in that place, this axe...it feels...good." as he starts to show off the axe, meanwhile the other sits on the table, still there for now. <English>
Danee looks at Conoger's axe. and smiles as she takes her seat. "It is lovely but how did spiders .. and snakes? have an axe? I am sorry but how did you get into this cave in the first place?" <English>
Dimitri, the guardsmen from the day before, is patroling the town with a few of his men as he comes by Conoger and Danee. "Hello..." He greets them with his heavy accented english. "I trust the Lodgings were good." <English>
Conoger looks at her and to him it looks obvious that the ebst part of the whole thing was the spiders and teh axe. So when she asks for details he oh's. " I get it, you want details." so he sits back and thinks. " Well, I was at a local tavern, drinking and listening and heard that there was a creepy cave and the mention of ghosts and mosters as well as people not ever coming back...peeked my interest. So brought it to Esther and told her I be going to check it out, she wanted to coem, others heard the conversation and then it sort of snowballed." he stops then as a man approuches and speaks to them. " Oh yes, thank you, most adequate. Things going well for you all?" <English>
Danee smiles and stands not sure if it is polite for a woman to sit while the men stand. Any way she wants to be polite. "The lodgings are very nice as are your people. I am enjoying myself very much." <English>
Dimitri nods, "Well we were busy last night butchering that Bear you all killed in the Caves the other day. There should be enough meat to feed us for a while." He compliments. Suddenly the sound of ships flying at high altitude can be hears. There's three of them, their con trails visible if you look up. <English>
Danee smiles and stands not sure if it is polite for a woman to sit while the men stand. Any way she wants to be polite. "The lodgings are very nice as are your people. I am enjoying myself very much." <English>
Conoger listens to the man and hearing about the bear he only smiles. It is then he hears the ships flying high and seeing the smoke trails he hmms. " Pretty high up in formation, is this unusual around here?" then starts to put hsi equipment back, just incase. <English>
Danee looks up as the sound passes over head. "Who could it be? are they low enough to see the village?" <English>
Esther has been respectfully sitting in the back as the conversations go on. Though, when the vehicles fly overhead, she can't help but to look upwards. Her lips turn downwards in a dissaproving frowns. <English>
There is no noise as the ships pass, other than the sound of their high up engines. Three blurs slam down into the ground a ways away from the village, throwing up dirt and dust. There is a loud thud, but no explosion. Then there is quiet and as the dust clears all that can be seen are three large cylinders with doors. Dimitri raises an eyebrow, reaching to his side for a horn which he blows. Several more sound and troops seemingly start to mobilize. <English>
Conoger watches, hears and then he is frowning, looking around at the others. " I think we have company." as he gets himself ready and cracks his neck as eh does. " Well, is there a plan for this?" as he looks towards the man tat just spoke to him. <English>
Esther blinks as drops are made near the village. She rises up as people begin to mobilize. Her gaze darts back and forth, analyzing the movements of people. Slowly, her sword is pulled from it's sheath once again, the metal giving that soft, musical ~shinggg~ sound. She steps up next to Danee. <English>
Danee turns to look at the cylinders and gasps, "Reavers. Oh God How did they find this place?" she looks at the leader of teh Churura, "Have you ever fought reavers?" <English>
Esther blinks as drops are made near the village. She rises up as people begin to mobilize. Her gaze darts back and forth, analyzing the movements of people. Slowly, her sword is pulled from it's sheath once again, the metal giving that soft, musical ~shinggg~ sound. She steps up next to Danee. Her eyes go wide at the mention of Reavers. "Shit.." <English>
Dimitri looks to Danee and draws his sword. "No..." He looks to his men and motions for them to move towards the Cylinders. THe Romani troops bare down on the Cylenders and form a defensive line with guns and melee weapons. There is silence... and then the doors drop. Darkness inside... then they come streaming out. The Reavers... but they're big Reavers, stronger almost... different then the normal ones as if they've been engineered. With them... come Brutes. Giant ten foot tall abominations who grunt out orders to them as they clash with the Churara. Mangled, malformed, gastly inhuman things with Giant cutting knives for swords on their backs. The let out giant roars. There is one for each capsul, three in total. <English>
Conoger see's what is happening and he pulls out the gift that he was given, the Zeus. It has distance and very good accuracy, though for the big ones, they will come after. "Danee, want take a axe, by the look of things, ya need something that will do a bit more damage. Esther, use a pistol or somethign before getting close, to many." as Conoger drops a axe, kneels and takes aim quickly. Two quick shots and both hit their targets in the head and the two go down but the numbers don't lie, to much. <English>
Danee draws her Katana and wishes she had something better but she starts forward. No way is she going to stand there and hide or cry. She finds herself tripping over her skirts and so she takes a moment to pull the sides up and tuck them into her waist band. She is still decent just as she moves on she is aware that she shows more leg than usual. She turns to look at Conoger "Yes please." she kisses the hilt of Jade's katana but places it into her off hand and holds out he rgood one for the axe. <English>
Esther gives a doubletake to Conoger. She looks to the onslought of Reavers and back to Conoger. She poses with her blade. "I don't have one." She replies to him. She steps close to Danee as the lines begin to go closer. "I got your back." She says to her friend. <English>
Conoger is able to take down some of the Reavers with his carbine. Though, the churara, well trained that they are. They are doing a good job of keeping up with the reagular Reavers. However, When a brute steps in, one swipe of it's blade sends a heap of bodies flying. Both romani and Reaver... though the Reavers tend to get back up again being durable bastards. <English>
Conoger see's that the Chuchura are doing pretty good, though of course the reaavers may have numbers the Chuchura look skills enough. It is not until one of the big ten footers comes in and starts to destroy teh lines that Conoger switches to burst mode and takes aim at the first one he see's. Conoger moves up alittle closer and shoots but he goes wide or it moved, in either case he shots again and hits the beast well. Still it may not look like it made any damage from this distance, he knows he hit it with the second burst. <English>
Holding the battle axe Danee smiles at Esther, "it willnot be as bad as we think" ok maybe it will but she'd never say that aloud. And so screaming at the top of he rlungs she rushes forward to meet the attacking hoard. The usual graceful woman steps on a rock and hits the ground hard about half way between where she was and where the hoard is. <English>
Esther blinks. "Wait! Where you going?!" Esther calls out to Danee. As Danee takes off running with that axe, Esther is not about to let her go at it alone. She runs up next to Danee as she stumbles, reaching down to help her up. But before she can help Danee, a pair of Reavers run right up on them. "AUUGHH!" Esther stands over Danee, swinging her blade to dispatch the first one as it arrives. Her blade swings up to slice at it's mid-section. <English>
The Brute that Conoger shot throws back his shoulder from the impact, blood flailing out from his side. He looks to Conoger with the ugliest and meanest face this monstrosity can muster. Bending it's knees it jumps high into the air, over the lines and lands right before Conoger bringing it's giant chefs knife upon the Viking. Esther is quick to dispatch the Reavers after Danee and herself. The Churara are still holding, filling in the lines but are wearing thin. There are still two more brutes. <English>
Conoger had shot at the big brute and was aleady to take mroe shots at it when he hears Danee fall. He looks in that direction for a brief moment, worried for Danee as reavers coem int oattack her when he see's Esther go help out Danee. It is then he hears soemthing land right infront of him and it takes a second to look and instincttively raise his arm up in time. The clreatures weapon slices through armor and into his arm, makign his left arm useless at this time and sending him back a few steps from the impact alone. Conoger is not sure if his arm is broken but it's numb all the way to his arm. He dropped the Zeus wit the attack from the beast. So in a quick pull from hsi side he takes out the axe and Conoger growls in anger. Conoger charges the beast, not fearing that it's next attack may hurt even worse, he just wants to kill. So Conoger attacks the knee and his axe slices through like a knife trhough hot butter. As the beast starts to go down to one knee, his axe comes up swiftly with great force and the beasts head seperates from it's shoulders. "AARRRRRRGHHHHH!" Conoger yells at the dead brute, his body vibrating from the kill. <English>
Danee crawls out from beneath Esther and moves to stand at her back. She takes a practice swing thinking they will be attacked by just regular reavers. like there is any such thing. But the small reavers are pushed aside and a great big one being to move in their direction. "oh sweet holy mother of god" she mutters. "Esther? get ready!" and takes a real swing at the big guy her momentum throwing her to the right where she misses but with a turn around like a dancer she connects with the back of his butt. <English>
Esther turns around as there is the sound thunking of giant boots heading their way. There is a string of words all spoken in spanish. They sound like some rather illicit words by their tone. Esther faces the vile creature, slicing upwards as it gets close enough. Blood splatter is everywhere! Another slice and TIMBERRR! The bigger they are the harder they fall. <English>
As the second big guy goes down there is of course the Thrid one who sneaks up on Esther and Danee as they are distracted with the death of the second one. His blade finds them both as he roars out with strength. Fresh and unscratched. At full health. Most of the Reavers and Churara lay dead or injured on the ground leaving just our would be heroes as defenders. Kyo and the Elder, his grandfather still nowhere to be found. <English>
Conoger had his whole attention on the one he killed, the ache on hsi arm obvious nwo as the adrelanin is passing through. Though as he looks towards Danee and Esther he see's they dispatch one of the big ones, though it is to late to warn them of the other as it attacks them. Conoger goes aroudn the big one he took down and starts to run towards them. " Danee, Esther, watch it..." as he yells this out to them but obviously too late. <English>
Danee screams out and grabs her side almost dropping Conoger's axe. She goes down on one knee. The pain is too great to stand but she does the next best thing. taking a deep breath she swings the axe st the big guy's leg. It is not full power but the blade is well balanced and sharp. But it is as if the big guy saw it coming. <English>
Esther takes a hit to her back, the blade cuts through her armor, blood seeping ot from the strike. The force of the strike has knocked her off balance and she rolls onto the ground. "DANEE!" She calls out as she watches the brute just punish her friend! "NO!" Even while laying on the ground, Esther brings her blade up, going for the soft tissue of his thigh, piercing through the meat and severing arteries in the brute. <English>
The big brute drops to his knees as Esther severs arteries and ligaments and nerves. It growls and howls in pain but not before bringing it's Giant knife to impale Esther through the mid section. It's still alive, breathing heavily, head hanging... Just barely there. However... those still cognate of what's going on would notice that more capsules have impacted. There are brutes coming out of them. Five more but they arent attacking they are simply just walking slowly towards the few remaining warriors. <English>
Conoger finaly gets to teh Brute tha tattack the girls , not fast enough to stop the one from hitting Esther again. Conoger does not wait, he just runs up, swings with hsi first atatcj and the brutes head coems off the shoulders like the other one. THen he comes down to do more dmaage and hits it but not much strength to his last attack. His arm throbs as he looks to Esther and Danee and concern on hsi face is obvious. " Danee, Esther..can ya move...we.." as he starts to look around. <English>
Danee falls to her side more dead now that alive. Although aware she curls up into a fetal position and just tried not to bleed out. She keeps one hand on the wound and one on the axe. Slowly she closes her eyes as the big guy falls. She feels the thumps as the other canisters hit the ground. But cannot open her eyes to see what is going on. <English>
Esther lets out a cry of pain as the knife penetrates through her armor from the sheer strength of the Brute! More blood oozes out from her abdomen now and she makes an aweful sound. Looking down, the blade is still embedded as the head comes off the brute's shoulders. Looking down, Esther curses once more in her native tongue. More pods. More brutes. She glances around, the world a bit bleary. "Fuck." <English>
All hope seems lost as the damaged group of warriors seem to be faltering and with more brutes slowly approaching the end for them seems almost assured. Though, Esther watches a blur of something move past her, stirring up the winds and suddenly the brutes are cleaved in half, headless, armless, all sorts of dead. They had no idea what had happened. As the brutes all fall, Rasputin, The clan elder who's at least over 100 years old, dressed in a black Shuhakusho is sheathing a very old and ancient Katana like a true shonen hero. He was a blur and the brutes were defeated in a matter of seconds. Almost in human... but if you live as long as he does...
From atop the capsules is a man clad in red, with a red hat. He laughs evilly, his black hair shaking. He takes off his mirrored sunglasses as he jumps down from the capsule, his red cape flowing. There are two big guns at his side. "Grandfather... your reputation precedes you..." This is Alucard LaBarre... Kyoshiro's twin. And his eys /are/ red. <English>
Conoger has no real concern other than close friends hurt badly and both Esther and Danee look real bad. His arm is useless but he still ahs one good one left. Then more brutes and then the yaer dead, in but a fraction of moments, they are dead. Soon Alucard appears atop of the thinsg that let loose the reavers and seems to challenge teh old man. Conoger looks back to Danee and Esther and walsk on over to them. Then lifts Esther with his oen good arm and brings her over to Danee and he lays them both there. " Ain't going ta let ya die." what ever else is happening, ain't his concern, not yet, not until he has helped both Danee and Esther. <English>
Danee wimpers but does not move much. Bears and now reavers are more than she can handle. She takes a deep breath and passes out. <English>
Esther is swept up into Conoger's arms and she simply groans as he moves her to where Danee may be. Laying on the ground beside Danee, she rolls her head to look at Danee. "I couldn't just let her run out there by herself.." She says quietly. Then she arches her head to look at what's going on. She is having a hard time focusing, but she watches in silence to see what is to unfold. <English>
Zank comes limping out of one of the nearby alley ways. Havin gotten seperated during the attack from above of both reavers and other baddies, hes had an intresting day so far. His face is covered in dark smudges of blood and some ash and his duster's sleeve is torn open from either a bullets grave or a blades missing thrust. He dosnt look great but hes not out of this fight yet. He's at the far end of the street from the others. He dosn go calling out yet. who knows whos about. Pluse the guy in Red seems to want the attention at the moument. <English>
Alucard looks over to Esther and Conoger for a moment. He smiles just a bit before looks back to Rasputin who simply just looks at him from out of the corner of his eye. "So are you going to stop me grandfather." Rasputin faces Alucard. "I'm sorry Grandson... that's not going to happen... I am not you opponent."
Passing by Esther and walking towards Allucard is Kyoshiro. His face is flat and serious, emotionless. His cold eyes focus in on his brother, sword at his side. He looks different, older almost... what were they up to in those mountains for most of the day? He is wearing a white sleeveless Haori over his frocks, accenting the blue color. The symbol on the back, a bamboo stick just like Jades. It flows in the wind and with his steps. "Alucard..." He says as he stops in front of his brother.
Alucard smiles, "Brother... you could make the party. I'm glad... sorry for the elaborate set up... but you had to lead me to Grandfather somehow... what gene pool they have here for my soldiers!"
"Doesnt help when you kill all of them." Kyoshiro says.
"That's okay... I just need one each of the oposit sex..." Allucard says. "So you think you can beat me..." He takes out his two large weapons... "I was first in our class remember..."
Kyoshiro nods, "I remember..." Then rushes forward in a flash towards Alucard. <English>
Conoger see's Danee pass out, well at least past out and he hopes that is all. Then he looks at Esther as Kyo and Alucard speak."If things go bad, save yourself and Danee." then Conoger stands up and runs in, pulling his axe out and swinging at Alucard, some how he misses or Alucard dodges swiftly. <English>
Esther looks to Danee now and it takes a bit of effort for her to make it closer to her. Esther is not really in the position to do much saving of anyone, you know, with a giant reaver-style knife sticking out of her abdomen. But damn if it would stop her from trying. She remains there for now, watchiing as Conoger runs off to join Kyoshiro. She has an emotionless look upon her face. <English>
Zank sees the downed Danee and Esther and now limps as fast as he can down the street. He sees Kyo attack along with Conoger and adds to the mix with is own gun shot as he comes up next to Danee and then to Esther. Up close he looks worse than from a distance. He kneels next to Esther and looks her over. He frowns and then looks to Danee before standing and moving twords the fight proper. Other free hand on the grip of his survival knife. <English>
Alucard is no spoof. Not one bit. After taking Kyo's attack, he simply laughs as the blood runs down him. He holds onto Kyo's blade and points his large pistol at Kyoshiro and squeezes the trigger. Kyo stumbles back, blood seeping from the wound there. He dodges out of the way of Conoger and takes a pot shot but the shot misses as he has to dodge a bullet from Zank. He points his gun towards the XO and fires off a round. "Ganging up on me..." Alucard says as he bleed out from the first attack. "Big mistake..." And then he charges Kyo who regains his stance and composure and slices across his midsection... Though Alucard ducks out of the way of the countering slice across. <English>
Conoger manages to dodge or at least Alucard miss him with the shot and then head to Kyo. Conoger even with a arm useless moves right up behind Alucard to attack but some how Alucard dodges his first swing, though Conoger twists the axe in his hand and slashes out towards the mans stomach as he moves away. "Kyo's brother....your pathetic compared to him." Conoger states in a deep and angry voice. <English>
The world begins to fade from Esther's view. Her color has gone from a lovely golden hue to a yellow-ish tinge. She looks down to the handle of the blade sticking out of her. No, she does not remove it. It could make things worse. Blood continues to ooze from her form. Everything seems so distant.. it's like a dream. She grows numb. She fights it, but in the end, nature wins the war. Esther's eyes drift closed as she sags limply by Danee. Her hand relaxes, the blade falling from her hand. <English>
Zank is knocked on his ass by the shot to his torso. The bullet finding a nice place in his sholder. He lands next to Esther in time to see her fadeing. Zank's normal calm dissapers as he sits up drawing the knife from his belt and quickly closeing the gap between him and this red dressed asshole. He uses Conogers attack as a diversion as he runs and slams into the man thrusting the knife into the man. <English>
Alucard is angry now as Conoger's axe digs deep into him. "I'm not the one who hides who I am!" He grows before pointing one of his weapons at Conoger and squeezes the trigger. Though his aim is offed by the Blade going through his back. He looks at Zank who's really damn close to him and grins, pushing the muzzle of his gun against the man's chest and pulling the trigger. Then he points it to Kyo and fires... But when the smoke clears Kyo isnt there. His brothers face is in his and his red eyes stair into his soul. His blade has pierced Alucard mid section. Once Kyo pulls the blade from Alucard he collapses onto his knees... And then, Kyo takes his head. Blood sprays everywhere.
Rasputin off in the corner who was watching calmly finally speaks up. "The Heart shall always prevail..." He says in response to the riddle he gave Danee earlier. "The heart of friendship and love, the strength of comrodery will always destroy evil..." <English>
Conoger moves out of the way of Alucards shot and was about to go back in when he see's the mans head get taken from his shoulders. Conoger looks at Kyo and then the dead body. He nods to Kyo then but turns and goes back towarsd Estehr and Danee, he is going to go and check out their wounds . " Esther, you owe me two more dinners." yup, he still on that game. <English>
Zank collaples as the bullet passes into his chest puntureing his lung. He drops infront of Alucard and the other his knife still in the red asshole. He sits gasping sholloowly for air as he struggles to breath and get up hand still around his pistol. <English>
Kyoshiro is standing above Alucard, just staring at him. He just killed the only thing left of his 'family'. Well the family he never knew. "He implanted those images on the drones... So that we'd lead him here... He was the one who attacked Deadwood..." He looks to his Grandfather, "Trying to find you..."
Rasputin nods, knealing down before Zank, "And to get test subjects..." He looks to all the carnage... "Get your wife." Kyo picks up his com. <English>
"Oliana... Everyone is hurt really bad... Alucard is dead... but you need to hurry." <English>
Oliana is standing beside the com, she's even made her way to the bridge and is pacing as far as she can back and forth, when the call comes in, she grabs her bag and starts to run, "I'm on my way!" <English>
Conoger notes that Esther is unconcious but at least he makes sure she not bleeding to badly. He dare not remove the blade that is on her side, nto yet at least, not until he is sure soemone that knows what they are doing is here. Then he looks at Danee and shakes his head, she is bleeding badly, even as he wrks on her, the flow is moving. <English>
Kyoshiro speaks over his comm, "Dimitri will be waiting for you at the entrance... there's a lot of wounded here. There's a man named Urahara at the shack at the base of the mountain. He'll take you to the mountains. Take the truck. It'll be faster." He looks over to Conoger and then to Zank. "Zank Can't breath. Gunshot to the chest. Conoger is tending to Esther who has a sword through her. And Conoger has pretty fucked up arm. Danee's... she's losing a lot of blood." <English>
Zank continues to gasp and has managed to drag himself against a near by wall and sits up leaning against the wall blood still trickeling down his arm. his Breath shallow and raspy. A sever *weezing* sound coming from his throat and chest. He can still talk atleast "Can breath...just not well...Get Mei mei." he says trying to control his breath and pushing his good hand into the seond hole in his sholder to steam the bleeding. <English>
Esther flutters her eyes as there is a moment where she comes around as Conoger manages to stop the bleeding and stabalize the knife. She says nothing to him, just smiling warmly. A blood-covered hand moves to touch him before her eyes drift closed again. <English>
Kyoshiro is talking on the comm with his wife while a hand goes to his own wound in his abdomen. He winces at the pain as the shock is starting to ware off. He nods to Zank and starts to move towards Danee. <English>
Oliana mutters at the comm and throws her bag in the truck. For a moment she looks to the controls, she takes a deep breath and starts it, "My kingdom for a horse." It's slow going, jerky starts and stops.. she'll have whiplash by the time she gets there, but she does make it. Soon she is on her way to where her husband is. <English>
"Oliana's on her way..." Kyoshiro reassures Conoger. The truck is a hell of a lot faster then horse back... though Oli will still have to run through the caves with Dimitri who leads her to a kettled valley surrounded by mountains. There are dead all over the place and everyone here has red eyes. They speak in Romani as mothers, wives, and sisters grieve for their lost and attempt to help the wounded. There are also dead Reavers on the ground as well as 8 giant monstrosities. Kyoshiro and Conoger are by Danee and Esther in this lush village now stained with blood. Rasputin, who bares a similar build and resemblance to Kyo except for the tan skin and slanted eyes is attending to Zank. <English>
Kyoshiro's brother lays dead in a field, beaten a bloodied, head decapitated just like the monsters he created. <English>
Zank has brought his breathing undercontrol as best he can and the pain in his sholder is throbbing the bleeding. As Rasputin tryies to tend to him. He pushes the mans hands away. Not out of spite. He attempts to stand useing the wall to get him up. He fails his first time crashing back down before again pushing with his legs to stand. He starts to limp across twords Danee and Esther. Very intent on being near his little sister, and his best friends wife. <English>
Oliana rushes in, she is calm and cool, her demenor is very professional, someone would think that maybe the woman had gone to a real professional medical school! She gives a nod to Kyoshiro and says, "Who is the worst?" She looks around the field and frowns at the scene, "What the hell happened?" <English>
Esther is laying over by Danee with Conoger over them and Zank nearby. Both Esther and Danee are unconscious. Esther has a wicked large knife type blade sticking out of her abdomen which has been secured in place to prevent further damage to her internals. She is very very pale, but overall is in better condition than Danee. <English>
Kyoshiro looks over to his wife as he takes a nee. The left side of his abdomen is stained in blood over the vest. He seems different, more calm... less bothered by that monster in the back of his head... if at all. He's also wearing a sleeveless white Haori over his blue frock. A new addition to his outfit. "Danee's the worst off I think. Then Esther and Zank... I think Conoger and I can manage until they're stable."
Rasputin purses his lips at Zank's stubbornness and stands, walking over to watch his Granddaughter in law work. <English>
Oliana gives a nod, if she notices her husband's demeanor she doesn't comment on it, "I'll see to them first them." She gives him a look over and frowns, "Have someone start gathering up the wounded so that I can start getting to them afterwards." She shoulders her kit and starts striding towards Danee. <English>
Conoger nods to Kyo as he mentioins Oli is on her way. Though he can feel the cloth he put on top of Danee's wound soak that blood he still maintains that pressure with his one good hand. Sure he may have a broken arm, bleeding but that is all been ignored for now. As soon as Oli appears, he looks to her and still keeps his hand on Danee's wound. " She is bleeding bad..all I can do is keep my pressure on." there is anger, ocncern...emotions he hates showing but can't help. <English>
Zank kneels down next to Danee and gasps in pain as the sprain in his ankle stabbs him. He dropps to his knees next to Danee. He looks back at Rasputin as he feels the mans eyes on him a moument. The sharp pain made his breathing wezzy again. He reachs for Danees hand and holds it. <English>
Danee has multiple lacerations and one very very deep cut. She knows Esthers condition, and conoger and Zank are both there to inspect. Kyoshiro just watches. Rasputin nods to Oliana and motions to Dimitri to start gathering up the wounded and get them ready from transport. <English>
Kyoshiro adds, "It was Alucard... he set this all up just to cause this destruction..." <English>
Oliana kneels down next to Conoger, "You look like hell." She says to the viking as she opens up her surgery kit and with a practiced hand she begins to gently run the scanner over Danee, "I'll stablize her, so that we can get her to the ship and into a bed." She looks over to Kyo and frowns, "I hope you took care of that." She turns her attention to Danee once more and is glad that Fao has given her some of the best of things. Getting her readings she begins to work on the Danee. <English>
Conoger nods to Oli and chuckles lightly. " Good to feel pain on occassion but..she ." he stops and keeps pressure still until Oli says other wise. He does look to Esther, watchign her chest rising and falling, glad his bandaging is holding for now, at least she is almost stable. " She owes me big time." he says under his breath. <English>
Zank holds on to Danee's hand as Oliana scans her. He murmers something that almost sounds like a prayer or he could be curiseing Conoger for saying anyone owes anyone right now. Whos knows. But Zank's had enough. Well his body has and enough blood has drained out of him. He collapses next to Danee. Breath weezy and shallow. <English>
Alucards headless and mangled body is over in the field, still staining the grass with blood. "Aye, Love... we took care of it." Kyo looks to Zank, "Damn fool is too stuborn for his own good..." <English>
Oliana gives a curse and shakes her head and says, "Damn it to hell and back." She looks over to Zank then looks to Danee, finishing off with the Captain's wife, and then turns to start on Zank, "He's losing a lot of blood..." With that she starts to scan Zank, and begins to patch him up enough to get him back to the ship and to keep him from losing more blood. <English>
Conoger moves back enough to let Oli take care of Danee for now, then he see's Zank fall and Conoger agrees with Kyo. " Yes, your right, a fool sometimes." then Conoger goes to see Esther, making sure she is alright still. " I can take Esther, this blade will have to come off after." <English>
Zank may have collapsed but hes not all gone to the world. He dose manage to mumble "Bes wai (Shut up)" to Kyo and Congoer comments <English>
Kyoshiro bends down and picks up Danee once Oliana has her stable. "I'll take Danee... I will come back for Zank once he's stable." He's just taking her to the truck after all and Oli probably brought the hover stretcher with it... or not... either way it works. He carries her bridal style, the wind blowing at his frock and Haori as he walks towards the caves. He does this even with his still bleeding gunshot wound. Everyone would end up back on the Jia in the med bay at the end of the day, stable thanks to Oliana and on the mend. <English>
