The Heartline is an undershirt wired with sensors and other gadgets to monitor body temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, and so on. It generally transmits this data to a doctor or to a nearby computer where it can be read by a doctor, who can monitor the patient's health. This will not transmit over ridiculously long distances.
