Their father skipped town shortly after Levi was born, when Selina wasn't even quite three years old yet. She doesn't remember the man at all. Their mother was poor and generally not much of a presence, often not even managing to provide food. They lived in the less than comfortable part of Persephone, and their mother passed from an overdose when Selina was 15. Having already been doing what she could to support herself and Levi, the siblings had to work harder to make it on their own, and have done some less than savory things along the way. Levi's the con, Selina's the muscle. Seven years ago, they lucked out and hit it off with a transport crew and spent some time learning from them before branching out to do their own thing. Now Levi's the pilot and Selina's the security. When they can find work anyways. —————————————————— HOOKS & OTHER TIDBITS Booze Despite always telling herself she'd never turn out like their mother, Selina slipped a few years back and started drinking booze. And she tends to hit it hard and often, when she can. She's not the sort to show up to work or an assignment drunk or rocking /too bad/ of a hangover, but in her downtime? Odds are there's a bottle of something around. Or she's at the local bar. Do you like to do the intergalactic bar hop too? Watchdog Not only does Selina do security work, but given the way she grew up and has led her life thus far, the woman has a bit of a natural instinct to watch after those close to her. Mess with Levi or anybody in her crew, and you might wind up with her yelling at you. Shoot to Thrill Guns, guns, guns. There's so many, and they're all different. While Selina doesn't have the technical knowhow to know all the little intricate inner workings, she does love guns and knows how to maintain hers pretty well. She's also always interested in learning about others and seeing new guns. Got a big shiny toy you want to show off? Thunderchild Just recently, Selina and her brother have fallen in with the crew of the Thunderchild, both of them taking a job. They just started, so time will tell how things go, but for now, where the Thunderchild goes, so goes Selina.
