From a very early age, Mi Young was encouraged by her parents to follow in their footsteps; her father was a high ranking Alliance officer and her mother, a civilian who worked within the Alliance as an intel specialist. Groomed and trained, she was enrolled in the New Melbourne Military Academy as soon as she was old enough to meet their minimum age requirement.
