Impax 'Defender' Tactical Armour

This armour is manufactured by the Impax Armour Corporation for body guards and other security professionals. While certainly not the cutting edge of armour, it is more than adequate for personal protection and security teams. It's classic styling is reminiscent of the police tactical armour from Earth that was, with heavily padded sections that strap over the wearer's arms, legs, torso and shoulders with velcro straps. Each padded segment is constructed with a compartment which has a ballistic ceramic plate in it. It can't be helped in this style of armour, that mobility is restricted, and the size and bulk of the armour makes it impossible to conceal.
