Description
One of the most noticeable things about this woman is her height as she stands just shy of 6 feet tall, 1.8 meters. Her coal black hair is neatly cut in a bob that highlights and accentuates her sculpted facial features. Her slate gray eyes are alert and her gaze can be intense and chilling. Her most is a touch too large for her face and has a slight kink to it as if it had been broken in the past. Her lips are full and often set in a neutral unemotional position.
The clothing she wears runs to simplistic, comfortable and flexible enough to move in when she needs to. A black stretchy bodysuit conforms to her curves and a loose fitting brown duster adorns her shoulders and hangs to around her ankles. Black knee high leather boots adorn her feet. Across her back are two katana swords and placed in such a way that her coat doesn't interfere with unsheathing them. Concealed in numerous other places are numerous daggers and throwing knives.

Early Years
Celeste was born on New Melbourne two years and several days after U-Day was founded to two kind and loving parents, Erik and Natasha Cannon. The first few years were the happiest Celeste had ever been as her parents doted on her until she was of age to start school. Sadly that was about to change just after her fifth birthday.
A group of Alliance agents showed up and started accusing her parents of being involved in aiding a known terrorist group that helped break out criminals and other sundry types from Alliance facilities. Despite her parents denying the charges the Agents proceeded to torture and beat her parents as the Agents wouldn't believe her parents. After what seemed like days to Celeste but really a few hours, her parents were dead and the Agents had left, leaving Celeste the sole witness to the event.
Adolescence
A few months after her parents were killed Celeste was sent to an Orphanage. The first few weeks went alright, until a minor altercation crept up and the boys started to pick on her and tease her. That lasted for a while then escalated into beatings. She tried to report to the staff but they didn't believe her. Progressively the beatings got worse but were infrequent and as Celeste neared her tenth birthday, the staff became involved in the beatings. Then they turned even more violent as they started to use whips.
Pre-Teen Years
The arrival of age ten brought about some pleasantness to Celeste's young life. A new orphan arrived and after one look, Celeste knew they were going to be friends. While the beatings and whippings continued, Celeste was able to endure through them better because of her friend. For the next five years the two girls became extremely close as they protected each other from the brutality that was inflicted upon them. It was also during this time that Celeste discovered her attraction and love of women as she watched her friend grow and develop, though they never did consummate their relationship.
The Escape
Just after Celeste’s fifteenth birthday, the staff decided to punish Celeste for some trumped up offense that they deemed severe and killed her friend in front her. That was the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. The anger from years of abuse and torture caused her to snap into an incredible rage, she snuck into the kitchen and borrowed a knife. She then snuck through the orphanage to the staff quarters and killed the ones who allowed her abuse to happen. One that gruesome work was complete escaped the compound and made her way through the shadows to the local spaceport and observed the comings and goings of various cargo ships until one provided an opportunity to sneak aboard.
Recent History
A week after sneaking aboard a cargo ship Celeste was discovered by the boat's Captain. After a brief discussion something about Celeste appealed to him and he saw some kind of potential in her and after some debate amongst the crew, she was allowed to stay but had to earn her share. As time passed she managed to earn a place with the crew and the Captain along with a few other crew members taught her to defend herself properly. The first thing was trying out firearms but Celeste immediately took a dislike to them. After some trial and error she discovered she had an affinity with bladed weapons. Finding that they matched her grace and fluidity perfectly. To match her affinity with blades the mechanic, was versed in the martial arts style of Kung fu and began to teach her the style.
Celeste's natural grace took to the style immediately and after a couple of years was near equal to the mechanic's ability. During those years the two women became very close friends and at one point lovers. Celeste then had the confirmation that she needed that she was lesbian and wanted to continue their relationship but the mechanic was weary about starting up a ship board romance and they parted amicably. Soon after that the Captain decided to retire from cargo hauling and disbanded the crew and sold the ship giving the crew equal share of the monies gained from the sale.
