Alliance Uniform - Navy

The following are Alliance Navy (not Marine) uniform descs for you to use. These are intended as a starting point, feel free to re-write as you see fit. All descs are written so that they can just be pasted into the MUSH, then used with the descer. These descs will automatically find your name and rank to properly describe the outfit. Utility Uniform

This is the uniform worn for 'everyday' wear. Be sure to replace <LAST NAME> with your name.

Command ranks above Ensign

+desc/create outfit utility_officer=<Name> is wearing a pair of grey pants tucked into dark grey, almost black workboots, and a matching grey shirt, buttoned to the collar with a silver Alliance badge at the throat. Over that <he|she> is wearing a Navy officers' uniform jacket in the same grey with black trim outlining the chest area, with a <Rank>'s rank insignia on the left shoulder and <LAST NAME> picked out on the right.</code>

PT Uniform

This uniform is used for physical training.

+desc/create outfit pt=<Name> is currently wearing <his|her> PT uniform. It's a fairly simple outfit -- a close fitting grey short-sleeved t-shirt and matching tights. The shirt has an Alliance flag embroidered on the right breast and the tights have the same flag embroidered on the left calf. When it's cold outside, the shirt is covered by a grey hoodie; again, with the Alliance flag embroidered on the right breast.

Battledress

+desc/create outfit battledress=<Name>is wearing a new-issue utility uniform, done in a mottled purplish-gray digital camouflage pattern on the jacket and trousers. The undershirt is just visible, as a subdued violet color, under the folded-down Mandarin collar of the jacket, on which the name "<LAST NAME>" on the right breast pocket, in a slightly-brighter violet than the shirt (not so much as to draw attention, obviously; these are designed to be worn in combat, after all). On the collar of the jacket, each side, rests the rank insignia marking <him|her> as a <rank>. The boots, a dark gray suede-looking number, are laced up as high as possible, zippers just visible on the inner sides. The trousers are bloused smartly, covering the zippers, and the laces of the boots. The uniform's cap rests on <his|her> head, crisply presented, with a regular octagonal appearance when viewed from the top.

Dress Uniform

Unisex

<Name> is wearing the Alliance Navy white dress uniform, with a jacket with a high Mandarin collar, purple trim and silver buttons with the Alliance symbol. The jacket is partly open, with a crisp snow-white shirt and purple necktab. On <his|her> sleeves are silver rank insignia of a <rank>, mirrored as Epaulettes. <On the left breast are X medals, worn in full, indicating X, and above them, pilot flight wings>. At the right shoulder, are a series of loops of polished gold braid, folding down over the right side of the chest, to pin to the blouse of the jacket. Under the jacket, the white trousers are pressed to a knife-edge crease, above a pair of black shoes polished to a mirror shine. Around <his|her> waist, hung off a ceremonial belt, is a holster carrying a sidearm, and on the left side a scabbard, carrying a sword. On <his|her>> head is an white black-billed cap, sitting squarely, with the Alliance symbol on the front and gold braid matching <his|her> rank on the peak.

Female (option)

<Name> is wearing the Alliance Navy white dress uniform, with a jacket with a high Mandarin collar, purple trim and silver buttons with the Alliance symbol. The jacket is partly open, with a crisp snow-white blouse and purple necktab. On her sleeves are silver rank insignia of a <Rank>. Under the jacket, the knee-length skirt is likewise white, and under that she's wearing light-colored pantyhose. The low-heeled shoes are black, polished to a mirror shine. Around her waist, hung off a ceremonial belt, is a holster carrying a sidearm, whilst on her head is an white black-billed cap, sitting squarely, with the Alliance symbol on the front and gold braid matching her rank on the peak.

Enlisted Ranks
