AJ is a young caucasian male with short brown hair and brown eyes. He is tall and lanky.
Names
Cross tends to give out different names to people that he meets. He generally goes by AJ, but he could have also introduced himself as Joe, Joseph, Andy, or any number of made-up names to avoid giving out his real one.
Post-IC Background
AJ has been known to pick the pockets of unsuspecting individuals; he usually hunts in crowded border world docks. Although he is attempting to give up the practice, it is one that he has done for a long time and will likely have trouble doing so.
Employment
AJ is currently working aboard the Praemia as a deckhand.

AJ has never held a steady job, but has done some general handy man work for various people and ships in port. He worked briefly at Red Lion Starke Industries.
Personality
AJ often socially withdraws and is hesitant to become close to people. He does not make friends easily and can often sabotage his own efforts at developing meaningful relationships.
In the right setting he can be nice and sociable, but in the blink of an eye that can turn to closed, withdrawn, guarded, and even hostile if he feels he's being vilified.
As a general rule, AJ does not talk much about his past and his family.
AJ steals things not out of greed, but out of a compulsion to do so and for reasons that he's not likely to discuss.

AJ has hemophilia, a blood disorder that prevents proper clotting of a cut or wound. He is currently on medication that is both expensive and likely only to be found in core world medical facilities. He has to take injections on a regular basis and is supposed to abstain from alcohol for maximum effectiveness.
